Peatbog Faeries - Dust (album stream)

Peatbog Faeries, one of Scotlands best known names in contemporary folk music, will release their forthcoming album, Dust, on 8th August.

This new release is special in many ways, not least because of the arrival of new band members who have added a new impetus and drive to the bands creative direction. Through smart use of electronica their Celtic sound has been revamped and updated, and might even become a mold for the folk of the modern age.

Based on the Isle of Skye, the band have become one of Scotlands best known names in contemporary folk music. They have twice won "Live Act of the Year" at the Scottish Traditional Music Awards and have taken their own individual brand of Scottish tunes to audiences around the world, from European Festivals, to Asia, Africa, America, Canada and Australia.

The Peatbogs have recorded five studio albums, had their first live release in April 2009 and their next CD, "Dust" is due for release on the 8th of August.
