Since their formation in 2006 The Foreign Resort has toured the USA, Italy, Germany and Denmark. The most notable shows being the KVRXplosion and Popantipop's Sea Now showcases in Austin during SXSW 2011, Pianos in New York, Silverlake Lounge in Los Angeles, the Danish showcase festival Spot 2010 and supporting A Place to Bury Strangers on their European tour

The follow up to their debut will be released October 3 in Denmark and November 8 in the USA, Canada and Italy.

In their review of the Spot Festival appearance Gaffa Magazine described The Foreign Resort as:
"The Cure embedded in noise with Tears For Fears-ish melodies and the energy burst of Joy Division. And that is as close as it gets because The Foreign Resort sounded like themselves."

The debut album Offshore was released in Denmark and Italy in 2009 and in the United States in 2010 on Three Ring Records receiving excellent reviews:

The Foreign Resort have been rotating on both Danish national radio as well as German and Italian radio and TV. They are currently being aired at stations around the US incl. KVRX in Austin, KPSU in Portland and WNYZ, WNYE and EVR in New York.
