Pet Shop Boys - Live @ Glastonbury Festival 2010

Perennial pop treasures Pet Shop Boys return to Glastonbury 10 years after their last triumphant visit. The duo of Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe released their tenth studio album last year and were celebrated for Outstanding Contribution to Music at the 2009 Brits. From Bowie to Kylie to Madonna, many of popular music's greats have collaborated with the uniquely stylish duo. With a bag load of pop hits to draw on and captivating visuals, dancing shoes will definitely be necessary when they headline the Other stage on Saturday night.

Duke Spirit - Bruiser (album stream)

The Duke Spirit are an English rock band based in London. Their sound has been seen as a melding of many influences ranging from the alternative noise of 1980s/90s guitar bands such as My Bloody Valentine, Sonic Youth and Spacemen 3, the tremulous rock n roll of bands such as The Gun Club and The Cramps, early R&B, garage and psychedelia, through to a distinctive rhythmic 'Atlantic soul' and Motown influence.

"It's a bit like being an impressionist: You paint and re-paint and go back to the same spot, just to look at it in different light." That's Liela Moss, frontwoman for the Duke Spirit, speaking on the very studied approach her band took to recording their latest LP, Bruiser, due digitally this week.

Vildhjarta - Måsstaden (album stream)

Vildhjarta is a progressive metal band from Hudiksvall, Sweden. They play an aggressive Meshuggah-influenced djent style, characterised by harmonic minor progressions, jarring inharmonic staccato riffs, raspy whisper-screams, and a grand canyon style reverb on clean guitar parts. This style is referred to as "Thall" by the band and their fans. They were signed to Century Media Records in 2011.
