Biography

Detached are a hard working punk/ska band from South Wales. The band formed in the summer of 2006 and haven't looked back since.

They have played and toured their energetic sweaty set all over the UK and Mainland Europe. Sharing the stage with big names such as;

Less Than Jake, Bowling For Soup, Zebrahead, Wheatus, UK Subs, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Sonic Boom Six, Random Hand,The Skints, We Are The Union, The Toasters, H20, Bomb the Music Industry, Jaya The Cat and many more.

Detached self released their debut EP ‘You Only Live Once' in 2007 which was made at home DIY by printing, burning & designing it themselves. They promoted the E.P playing lots of live shows and a self-booked month long UK tour in the summer of 2008 - the EP was well received and eventually sold out, playing a crucial part in launching the band onto the UK scene.

In March 2010 the band self released their 'None The Wiser' E.P. The E.P has been promoted with more touring and shows thoughout 2010/2011 which has seen the band making new fans and friends all over.

The E.P featured artwork by the legendary Horsebites (Richard Minino) who has worked with bands such as Less Than Jake, Strike Anywhere, The Flatliners and many other awesome bands.

The E.P is available on all major download platforms such as iTunes, Amazon, Napster, Spotify etc, from the band themselves at all live shows and their bigcartel store.

The band had a great response from the E.P including positive reviews from Punktastic.com and Punknews.org as well as it being well received live during tours all over the UK and Europe.

The bands debut album 'Finding time' was released 23rd August 2012.
