Spot-On: Goldhouse

Chicago based electro-pop artist GOLDHOUSE, also known as Grant Harris, is here to wake up your week with the premiere of his new song "Just the Way You Like." Formerly known as Breathe Electric, this new project combines a dance-floor ready mentality with Harris' penchant for production and pop hooks. "Those that are familiar with my music will realize this song is quite a change of pace for me," explains Harris. "This song started out with just that verse bass line and I kind of went from there, not worrying about how it fell into place with the rest of my music."

The result? "A bit more rock n roll, but still has that same GOLDHOUSE attitude people are used to." And then some. From start to finish, this tune rides on infectious melodies, shiny bursts of electro, toe-tapping beats and a fierce energy. Added bonus? It's yours as a free download for a limited time.


"Just the Way You Like" comes off GOLDHOUSE's forthcoming new mixtape, The Morning After. On top of this track, Harris will be offering up one free track a week until the mixtape's full 12 tracks have been revealed. At that point, the entire effort will be available for free download, roughly around November 2012.
