Pop rapper has a blast on debut record
New York, native has a blast mixing pop, rock and rap into a potent cocktail. Opener "Let's Go" takes its title literally, kicking in with hand claps and a serrated guitar riff as Outasight heats things up with motormouthed flow, while the uplifting "I'll Drink To That 1" builds with careful acoustic picking and cinematic spirit. "Ready Set Go" drives forward with a bright electro thump and more of Outasight's playful raps, and the smooth crooning and hypnotic, pulsating club beat of "Under Lock and Key" drips with emotion. It's a party record, and it's due November 27th.
You can listen below (well you already are, since it autoplays, and no, I have no control over that) or pause it below and pop up this popup Rolling Stone Player. Enjoy!
