Help with the Blog
You can either browse the blog from the front page, looking at the snippets posted until you see something you find interesting. Then click the Read more link to read that post or listen to the stream.

Or you can enter the first post, by clicking on the post title, or the Read more link, and then browse the blog page by page.

You can jump to the latest post list by using the link at the top, or you can browse our posting history on elbo.ws.

Of course nobody expects you to just sit there and listen to all those streams and do nothing. Remember that if you hold the shift key down on your keyboard when you click a link, it will open the link in a new browser window or tab. After you started a stream you can just leave the page open, open a new browser window or tab, and you can visit your email, facebook, myspace, or whatever else you want to do online. The stream will keep on playing in the background.

Or even better, use our SoundStream player. Pop it up, select an album to stream and just get on with your life! ;)




Help with the SoundStreamer
You can launch the SoundStream Player from the top menu or from any posts' footer, just look for the button and click it. In case we're using another than the default streamer it will be mentioned in the post, for example the Rolling Stone or NPR player.

Only full albums will be added to the SoundStream Player, so no EP's, unless they have more than 5 tracks, nor single tracks, this to keep it manageable.

The SoundStreamer will be updated every week-end. The 3VOOR12 player updates automatically as soon as new album streams are added to it by VPRO.

You can login using one of the login options Disqus makes available. Please stay polite and don't spam, don't diss anything somebody else likes. Don't start any flame wars or personal attacks.



How can I promote myself on your blog (for artists, labels & promoters)
Contact me either on SoundCloud, if you have a set ready for streaming, or on youtube if you would like a video promoted.

I will always listen to your tracks or watch your video, even if you might not hear back from me. As you can imagine you're not the only one sending me stuff and time flies.



Can I send you any mp3s to promote myself
(or my artist in the case of labels/promoters)?

No, we don't accept any mp3s so please don't send them via email or otherwise. We will only accept soundcloud embeds or other embeds (Root Musc Band Page/ Bandcamp /Reverb Nation etc) that can be traced back to the uploader. This, of course, for obvious legal/copyright reasons.



Where should I send my DMCA notice?

Since we only use embedded content from elsewhere and never upload anything ourselves, you should contact the hosting service in case of any copyright infringements. For videos that is Youtube and for audio SoundCloud or the services mentioned in my previous answer. You can also use our contact page if you want me to take down a post on the blog or a video. I will demand official legal papers to prove you are entitled to make such a request in some cases. So be prepared.



Where can I post my updates?

We are done with our aggregation activities. Sorry. Use hypem, elbo.ws, MOG or any other blog aggregator or toplist or blogdirectory to promote your blog.



How can I link to you?

On the blog, click the button that is circled in the graphic to the left. You'll find it in the right sidebar.

On the page that will open you'll have several options, several buttons to chose from. Feel free to pick one. The HTML code you'll need to add it to your page or blog is already on the page, just copy it from there and paste it in your page/blog and it should be OK. If you have the space available please use one of the buttons with the eye.

How do I add my blog?
Go to http://totallyfuzzy.blogspot.com/ in the Blog Menu there you'll see an item called Blog Directory Add Page, click that link and then add your information.

Please give us the URL, a short description and some tags that you think are relevant.

We will check the blog and verify or where necessary add or adjust things when adding it to our directory.

Name of the Blog
Link (URL) of the blog
Description of your blog
Music genres you post
Tags (can be music genres again)



How do I remove my blog?

Go to our contact page, there you can send me a message, include the URL of the blog you want removed and the reason why.



How can I update my blog?

First search for the URL of your blog to make sure it already is in the directory. If it is, you can use the add page on our blog just add UPDATE and give the new description or the changes you'd like to see made. Please don't do this more than twice per year.


3. The Fuzzy Tube (Music Video Site)



How can I suggest a video?

All registered members can suggest a video. You'll have to login first and then you'll see a link "Suggest" in the members panel. You can use that link to suggest a video. Just copy and paste the URL of the video page, NOT the embed code, just the link of the page.

I'll check the video and decide whether or not it will be added. Please note that our quality requirements are pretty high. The video as well as the audio must be excellent. We only post music videos, that means no promotion stills with audio, EPK videos nor trailers or teasers. We reserve the right to refuse videos, if the content is too violent, too raunchy or otherwise questionable. It doesn't happen very often, but in the end we'll decide. Thanks for understanding.



How can I download a video?

You can't. You can buy them on itunes.



How can I upload a video?

You can't. We only use embedded videos from official channels and video hosting platforms.

Why can't I login/register on your news site?

We turned off registration because it was only used by spammers. Since we never really intended to run another digg type of site, I don't think registration makes much sense anyway.

Why don't you make it searchable?

For legal reasons we do not store any of the information collected via the Google Reader API and don't make it searchable.


Internet Explorer Pop-Up Help
By default Internet Explorer will open pop-ups as a new tab. If you want our video pop-ups and/or our streams player to pop-up a window, as they will in every other browser, and as they are supposed to, you'll have to go into Internet Explorer settings and change the tab settings there. It's pretty easy to do, just look at the graphics below to guide you through the process.

Our sites look and function best in other browsers than Internet Explorer, i.e. Opera, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, because of Internet Explorer's lack of support for recent web standards like CSS3 etc. You would do yourself a big favour by not using IE for our sites. But that is of course up to you to decide.
