on june 17th 2008, sigur rós performed at the museum of modern art in new york city. the live show featured the then four piece band (kjartan’s last concert was later that year), the string quartet of amiina and the brass section of brassgat í bala.

this concert film was directed by alex simmons for the now defunct current tv. we’d like to thank alex for his help in sourcing a better quality copy of the film. enjoy.
