"Too Much" is a song by Canadian singer Carly Rae Jepsen, released as a single for her fourth studio album Dedicated on May 9, 2019, through 604, School Boy and Interscope Records. Jepsen co-wrote the song with John Hill, Jordan Palmer and Noonie Bao.
Keely Quinlan of Stereogum called it a "bopping strut of a pop song", saying it "opens up a little slower and quieter than the others with a leading synth melody", but builds into having "a dance floor ready feel, which is what Jepsen always does best". Tosh Farrell of The Triangle calls the song a “standout track” and a “certified bop”, writing that the song is “an introduction to how Jepsen interprets herself and why she writes these songs”. Farrell also compliments Jepsen’s vocal delivery, stating that it “feels like it’s being whispered in a suitor’s ear.” Claire Shaffer of Rolling Stone writes that the song is a “steamy dance track over a single electronic beat, and deals with a classic CRJ theme”
