OMB Peezy (born LeParis Dade) is an American hip hop artist based in Richmond, California.

OMB Peezy was born to a musical family in Mobile, Alabama and later raised in Sacramento.

In 2016, he released the song "Lay Down" and its accompanying music video. In early 2017, he signed to Sick Wid It Records and later 300 Entertainment.He released "When I Was Down" in May 2017.

Peezy also featured in the 2017 Nef the Pharaoh song "Move 4" with Jay Ant. In June 2017, he released the single "Porch."[6] The single "Try Sumthin" featuring Yhung To was released in July 2017. He released the EP Humble Beginnings on October 11, 2017. In July 2018, he released the single "Yeah Yeah" featuring TK Kravitz. The mixtape Loyalty Over Love was released on August 10, 2018.

Atlanta-based artist Mercy was raised Mississippi. A month after graduating high school, Mercy’s mother was sent to prison and his father had left when he was two years old. Unbeknownst to the outside world, Mercy began hustling to take care of three siblings in her absence. Surreptitiously, after linking with friends on Instagram, he was offered a photo shoot at Wish ATL (a boutique streetwear store) and he jumped on a bus to Atlanta hoping the break would lead to more opportunity. The trip was bittersweet: on the one hand the shoot landed him with a modeling agency and on the other, Mercy got a call saying that his siblings had been taken into the custody of the Mississippi Department of Human Services. At 18, he had no family to go back to in Mississippi and so he chose to immerse himself in Atlanta’s thriving creative community.

Soon thereafter, Mercy started making music and caught the attention of legendary promoter J Wise, who ran the renowned Playlist Party at the Department Store venue in Atlanta. The Department Store served as a hotbed for emerging talent in the city. According to HighSnobiety, the venue was "Atlanta’s most pivotal stomping grounds for young burgeoning talent," and it was also ranked as a top ten spot in the city by The Source. “21 Savage, Kodie Shane, Sonny Digital, Lil Uzi Vert, Young Nudy J.I.D, Playboi Carti and many other artist that are prominent today were regular performers. It was special time,” says J Wise. After the closing of the Department Store, J Wise continued the Playlist Party and also launched the Playlist Academy to develop young talent in Atlanta. “I started recording with J Wise and taking it seriously. That’s when first knew I could do something with music. That’s when I became confident,” says Mercy.

A year or so later, J Wise connected with Babygrande Records founder Chuck Wilson and asked him to attend Diana Schweinbeck’s open mic competition where Mercy was performing. Mercy tied for first place and then won the tie-breaking performance to take home the trophy for first place. “I was very impressed with his performance and his composure on stage. There were a lot of great artists competing and he took over the room. He’s ready and we are ecstatic to welcome him to the team,” says Wilson.

In conjunction with the announcement of his signing to Babygrande Records, Mercy is also releasing a music video for his new track "See What I See" produced by Chad Paul Ora. Directed by Cricket in Atlanta, the visual exemplifies Mercy's unique artistic direction and is just a sample of what's to come from him in 2019. Jiar Garmiani (born 16 May 1983), commonly known by his stage name Garmiani, is a Swedish electronic dance music producer and DJ.

Garmiani is of Kurdish descent and moved to Sweden at the age of 6 as a result of the Iran–Iraq War. Having a musician father and cultivating a passion for music from a very young age led him to buy his first instrument that year. At the age of 12, he saved his allowance for 6 months and bought his first DJ mixer. At the age of 13 he started rapping. He studied music in high school and later graduated from the Audio Engineering program at SAE Institute. He has mentioned 2Pac, Dr. Dre, The Prodigy and Armand Van Helden as early musical influencers.

Garmiani's music has been featured in the DJ sets of David Guetta, Tiesto, Hardwell, Afrojack, Avicii, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Major Lazer, Nicky Romero, Jauz and Steve Aoki among others. He has remixed Steve Aoki, Snoop Dogg, Lil Jon, Arash & Sean Paul and Deorro.

DJ:ing on a weekly basis since the age of 16, Garmiani is known for his fast-paced mixing and high-energy DJ sets. He is a global touring DJ, playing clubs like Pacha Ibiza and festivals like Tomorrowland. He has also toured the USA along with Steve Aoki, Borgore, Waka Flocka Flame and Pharrell Williams.

On 2 February 1969, David Bowie went in to Willesden’s Morgan Studios to cut a new song, ‘Space Oddity’, with colleague John ‘Hutch’ Hutchinson (who sings the ‘ground control’ sections) for ‘Love You Till Tuesday’, a film that was being made by Bowie’s then manager, Kenneth Pitt.

Bowie subsequently demoed further versions of the song in an attempt to secure a record deal, which led ultimately to a contract with Mercury/Philips and the world-famous hit version recorded on 20 June 1969. The February recording finally became part of Decca when Pitt sold the rights to Love You Til Tuesday to PolyGram in 1984.

The confrontational Sauce Walka is a Houston-based rapper with an exuberant, sporadic delivery similar to Young Thug. Among his releases are the Sorry 4 the Sauce mixtape series (2015-2017) and highly animated tracks such as "Sauce Overload" (2018).

Born Albert Walker Mondane, the rapper makes up one half of Sauce Twinz, along with Sancho Saucy. He began releasing tracks and mixtapes in 2014, as well as appearing on releases by Slim Thug and DJ Holiday. Sauce Walka gained notoriety in 2015 when he accused Drake of using Houston's hip-hop culture, stealing its dance moves, and not supporting the local hip-hop scene; during the year also released the first two volumes of the mixtape series Sorry 4 the Sauce. The cover of his 2016 mixtape Holy Sauce targeted Drake, as well as other rappers such as Famous Dex and Future. Across the next couple years, Sauce Walka's rate of output remained consistent with Sorry 4 the Sauce 3, additional tapes including Drip God and Sauce Ghetto Gospel, and loose tracks highlighted by "Sauce Overload."

March 4, 2019 | Bobby Carter -- "I wish I could've savored that moment longer," Phony Ppl lead singer Elbee Thrie said to me as we rode the elevator down, following the band's Tiny Desk performance. "I'll never forget this."

Throughout the set, you see Thrie scan the entire office, taking mental inventory of the entire experience. Phony Ppl is a group that emits a vigorous energy on and off stage. In this case, the spirit was exchanged between the band and the NPR staff from the moment they gathered behind the desk and gave a zesty greeting.

The Brooklynites formed in high school and stand out as one of a handful of R&B bands in the industry that makes eclectic choices in fashion and lyrical narratives. Their fifth full-length, 2015's Yesterday's Tomorrow, was praised for the way the band seamlessly melds jazz, R&B and hip-hop. After consecutive residencies at the Blue Note jazz club in New York City — and a tour with rapper Pusha T — Phony Ppl arrived at the Tiny Desk more refined than ever. They entered the building like they were shot out of cannon, with guitarist Elijah Rawk spending a hefty chunk of his prep time twisting his hair. Right before the cameras started rolling we unsuccessfully scrambled to hide their bag of shea butter. If you look closely, you'll spot it sticking out next to our turntable.

Donning a black turtleneck and sweaters, they invited returning guest Braxton Cook on saxophone to play their four-song set. They opened with "Compromise," a highlight from Yesterday's Tomorrow, and locked into an up-tempo pocket as if it was a second skin. From there, they wove in three more songs, including two from their latest project, m?'z?-ik.

Pale Waves are an English indie pop band from Manchester, formed in 2014. It was founded originally as Creek when lead singer and guitarist Heather Baron-Gracie met drummer Ciara Doran while attending university in Manchester. The band was joined by guitarist Hugo Silvani and bassist Charlie Wood, completing the lineup.

After signing a record deal with Dirty Hit in 2017, Pale Waves released their debut single "There's a Honey", followed by "Television Romance". The following year, the band were ranked fifth in the BBC Sound of 2018 poll and won the NME Under the Radar Award at the NME Awards. Pale Waves' debut EP, All the Things I Never Said, was released in February 2018. Their debut studio album My Mind Makes Noises was released on 14 September 2018 and reached number eight on the official UK Albums Chart.

Tauheed Epps (born September 12, 1977), known professionally as 2 Chainz (formerly Tity Boi), is an American rapper, media personality and basketball player. The album was originally released in 1986; record label Tommy Boy Records re-released it in 2001 on compact disc for the first time with three bonus tracks. In 1998, the album was selected as one of The Source's 100 Best Rap Albums.

Khalid Donnel Robinson (born February 11, 1998) is an American singer and songwriter. He is signed to Right Hand Music Group and RCA Records. His debut single, "Location", was released in July 2016 and peaked at number 16 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and was later certified quadruple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). His debut studio album, American Teen, was released on March 3, 2017. In 2018, "Love Lies", his duet with singer Normani, recorded for the Love, Simon film soundtrack, reached the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100.

In February 2019, Khalid released the single, "Talk". He also made his debut on Saturday Night Live on March 9, 2019.

Jarad Higgins (born December 2, 1998), better known by his stage name Juice Wrld (stylized as Juice WRLD and pronounced as "Juice World"), is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Juice Wrld gained mainstream recognition after the release of the single "Lucid Dreams" in 2018, which peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100. After securing a recording contract with Grade A Productions and Interscope Records, "Lucid Dreams" acted as the lead single for his debut studio album Goodbye & Good Riddance (2018), which peaked at number six on the Billboard 200, and was eventually certified gold. The album enjoyed positive critical reception, and contained the singles "Armed and Dangerous", "Lean wit Me", "Wasted", all of which charted on the Hot 100.

After collaborating with Future on the mixtape Wrld on Drugs, which was released later that year and peaked at number two on the Billboard 200, Juice Wrld announced his second album, Death Race for Love, which was released on March 8, 2019. It was preceded by the singles "Robbery" and "Hear Me Calling", with the former making its debut at number 27 on the Hot 100.
