Denzel Rae Don Curry (born February 16, 1995) is an American rapper, singer and songwriter. Raised in Carol City, Florida, Curry started rapping while in sixth grade and began working on his first mixtape in 2011, when he was attending school. Influenced by underground Florida rapper SpaceGhostPurrp, the mixtape was later featured on Purrp's social media, giving Curry local attention and resulting in Curry joining Purrp's hip-hop collective, Raider Klan.

Curry left Raider Klan in 2013, releasing his debut full-length album a year later while still in high school, titled Nostalgic 64 on September 3, 2013. He has gone on to release two more projects, Imperial on March 9, 2016, and Ta13oo on July 27, 2018, which debuted at number 28 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Australian singer/songwriter Katie Dey is known for her inventive, unconventionally arranged home-recorded pop tunes. She often twists and distorts her voice into an abrasive croak, lending an extra sense of fragility to her lyrics about fear and isolation. Her full-length label debut, Flood Network, saw release in 2016.

The Melbourne-based Dey had been playing various instruments since her preteen years, and eventually she posted some of her songs on her blog. One of these songs caught the attention of Mat Cothran of Elvis Depressedly, who brought Dey's music to the attention of Warren Hildebrand (Foxes in Fiction), co-owner of Orchid Tapes. Dey had long been a fan of the label, so she jumped at the chance to work with them. She released a short album titled asdfasdf for free on her Bandcamp page in 2015, and when Orchid Tapes issued a cassette version, it sold out its first pressing in a day. She then signed to Joy Void for her second release, the full-length Flood Network, which was released in August of 2016. A collaborative album with indie electronic artist Devi McCallion called Some New Form of Life followed in late 2018 before she returned with the solo album Solipsisters in 2019.

A satirical metal act from Erlangen, Germany, J.B.O. (originally known as the James Blast Orchester, but the band had to change its name to the abbreviated form due to a legal matter) formed in 1989. The band got its start and came to popularity with satirical and humorous cover versions of rock and disco. In 2000, the group decided to create original material. The band has released more than 25 albums between 1994's Eine Gute CD Zum Kaufen! and 2007's Head Bang Boing, the latter a Top 40 hit in Germany. J.B.O. spent the majority of that year (2007) touring Central Europe. I Don't Like Metal, I Love It was released by the group in 2009.

Michael Lamar White IV (born June 18, 1999), known professionally as Trippie Redd, is an American rapper, singer and songwriter.

Following his high school graduation, White moved to Atlanta, where he met rapper Lil Wop and was eventually offered a record deal with a professional recording studio. White is best known for his songs "Love Scars", "Poles1469", featuring 6ix9ine, and "Dark Knight Dummo", featuring Travis Scott, with the former two songs both certified gold by the RIAA, and the latter peaking at number 72 on the Billboard Hot 100 as well as receiving platinum certification by the RIAA. In July 2018, White announced his debut album would be titled Life's a Trip. The album was released August 10, 2018 and debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 Album Chart selling 72,000 album-equivalent units. White earned his highest Billboard 200 charting in November 2018 with the mixtape, A Love Letter to You 3, debuting at number three.

Houston rapper Trill Sammy started out when he was just in high school, part of the generation of millennial rappers who utilized social media to spread their music. After posting his short freestyle with Born Stunna, "Netflix and Chill," in 2015, he went viral with local fans and continued to build a following online. With a sound similar to Lil Uzi Vert and Migos, the young Texan adopted an Atlanta trap sound aimed at putting the spotlight on his hometown. Sammy's first big break came in 2015 on the joint track "Just Watch" with fellow Houston rapper Dice Soho, head of the local Icey Gang crew. Sammy released "Check Out" in 2016, a video game-sampling dose of laid-back trap with Auto-Tune and a Desiigner-esque beat. His debut EP, Red Album, also arrived that year, featuring Soulja Boy on the track "Trappin'," as well as appearances by Slim Thug and Kirko Bangz. He quickly followed with the Trappin' EP that summer, which included the tracks "Uber Everywhere" and "Martin." In 2018, he issued singles "Do Not Disturb" and "Feel Better" with Rae Sremmurd's Slim Jxmmi.

California rapper Joe Moses began his career with a number of high-profile collaborations. Raised in Los Angeles, Moses was inspired by the music of 2Pac, but a stint in jail delayed his pursuits. After he was released from prison, he moved to Atlanta and signed to Waka Flocka Flame's Brick Squad Monopoly imprint. In 2011, Moses had a regional hit with "I Do It for the Ratchets." In 2013, he was featured on Ty Dolla $ign's "Paranoid," but before it was sent to radio, Atlantic Records insisted that B.o.B replace Moses' verse on the track. Eventually, he decided to part ways with the Brick Squad label, as he felt he wasn't getting the attention his career needed. He briefly signed to Pinnacle Records, but after just three weeks, he got out of the contract and returned to L.A. In 2017, Moses reunited with Ty Dolla $ign for the single "On My Bumper." A Future collaboration, "Back Goin Brazy," was issued in 2018, followed by a series of singles that landed on his Trap Angeles 2 mixtape.

Compton rapper Boogie was raised in Long Beach on gospel music and gangbanging, which later informed a sound that positioned him between Kendrick Lamar and Chance the Rapper. After bubbling in the underground for much of the late 2010s, he signed with Shady Records and issued his debut full-length, Everything's for Sale, in 2019.

Born Anthony Dixson, Boogie issued his debut mixtape, Thirst 48, in 2014. A year later he released The Reach and the viral hit single "Oh My," produced by Jahlil Beats. As his audience continued to grow, he put out his third mixtape, Thirst 48 Part II, in 2016. By the end of the following year, he had a co-sign from Eminem and joined the veteran rapper's Shady Records. His first output for the label, "Violence" with Masego, arrived that December. Further singles peppered 2018 until the eventual release of his debut LP, Everything's for Sale, in January 2019. The album featured appearances by JID ("Soho"), tourmate 6lack ("Skydive II"), and Eminem ("Rainy Days").

Chase Rice (born September 19, 1985) is an American country music singer, songwriter, and reality television personality. Rice is also a former college football linebacker for the University of North Carolina and former NASCAR pit crew member for Hendrick Motorsports. Jack River is the nom de plume of New South Wales-based producer, multi-instrumentalist, and singer/songwriter Holly Rankin. Originally performing under her own name, Rankin's laid-back, psych-tinged electropop earned her a loyal local following. As she began to make waves in Sydney, she took on the Jack River moniker, eventually catching the attention of Aussie indie I Oh You Records. Her first single under the pseudonym, the Rankin-and-Xavier Dunn-produced "Talk Like That," was issued by the label in early 2016 in anticipation of the release of her debut EP, Highway Songs #2, later that year. Two more singles, "Fault Line" and "Ballroom," followed in 2017 and 2018, respectively.

Holly Rankin, who performs as Jack River, is an Australian singer-songwriter, musician, and producer based in Sydney.

In 2017 she launched Electric Lady, a series of concerts featuring only female acts such as Ali Barter, Alex Lahey, and Gretta Ray. Jack River released new music and toured in that year, including playing with Midnight Oil.

On 22 June 2018, she released her debut album Sugar Mountain, named after the song made famous by her hero Neil Young. The 13 track debut album recounts many of Jack River's painful childhood memories, including the tragic accident that claimed the life of her younger sister, when she was only 14. During an interview with Richard Kingsmill on 2018 program on Triple J, River explained that music was her way of dealing her emotions and also as therapy, calling it her "go to for everything".
