Florida-based rapper YNW Melly makes raw, emotive rap songs about his turbulent life experiences. After he began releasing tracks during the mid-2010s, he broke through with his debut full-length, I Am You, in 2018.

Coming from the often-dangerous streets of Gifford, Florida, rapper YNW Melly began his career quickly, at a very young age. Born Jamell Demons in 1999, he began uploading original songs to SoundCloud when he was just 15, cultivating a style that laced together melodically sung vocals with raw raps about violence, crime, sex, money, and the challenging environment the teen was growing up in. Demons was living the life he portrayed in his music, eventually being incarcerated for a stretch in 2017 on weapons charges for a shooting he was involved with at age 16. Once released from jail, he became more active than ever, dropping multiple singles, videos, and other projects, including tracks like "Murder on My Mind," "Catching Feelings," and the Collect Call EP. Collect Call boasted features from many better-known artists, including Lil B and John Wicks. In 2018, Melly stayed constantly active, dropping singles "Melly the Menace," "Virtual," and "Slang That Iron" one after another before releasing the full-length I Am You. He also made a guest appearance on the late-2018 hit "Just Woke Up" by Supreme Patty. In early 2019, Melly released We All Shine, with Kanye West making a guest appearance on the song "Mixed Personalities."

Chicago rapper Calboy looked to his own struggles with mental health and substances when writing some of his hardest-hitting rhymes. Going so far as to name one of his mixtapes Anxiety, his songs loom heavy with moody melodies and huge trap beats. Several singles such as "Can't Tell" paved the way for new fans, but it was the 2018 single "Envy Me" that broke through to millions with a viral video.

Calboy was born Calvin Wood in 1999. He was born and raised in the gritty South Chicago neighborhood of Calumet City, growing up amid crime and violence. His hostile environment would influence his music from early on, with lyrics reflecting both the tough conditions of street life and the anxiety and depression he felt from it. He formed a crew of artists and friends called the Paper Gang and set about working on music both solo and within this collective. His first mixtape, The Chosen One, was released in 2017 and was followed months later that same year with second mixtape Anxiety. While working on his next project, Calboy dropped the single "Envy Me" in September of 2018. The song caught on in a massive way, being streamed millions of times within its first few months of release.

Andrew Wegman Bird (born July 11, 1973) is an American indie rock multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter. Since 1996, he has released 15 studio albums, as well as several live albums and EPs, spanning various genres including swing music, indie rock, and folk music. He is primarily known for his violin playing (accompanied by loop and effect pedals), whistling, and voice.

On March 22, 2019, Bird released My Finest Work Yet via Loma Vista Recordings. The album features singles “Sisyphus” and “Manifest”. My Finest Work Yet was recorded live to tape at Barefoot Studios in Los Angeles, CA. Produced by Paul Butler, Bird and the band went for a Rudy Van Gelder jazz room sound where the instruments bleed into all the mics in just the right way.[peacock term] Piano plays a strong role on these songs and most of the melodies are tinged with a gospel-jazz-60s soul feel while the lyrics are direct and risk-taking, cutting to the quick of what’s happening in our world.

Rewind, Replay, Rebound is the seventh studio album by Danish rock band Volbeat. The album is expected to release on 2 August 2019. This marks the first studio album with Kaspar Boye Larsen on bass.

"Parasite" was released as the first single on 10 May 2019, but the choice of the first single was criticized because the song was only 37 seconds long. It wasn't until 15 May 2019 when Volbeat released the first full length song, "Leviathan". "Last Day Under the Sun" was released as a single on 13 June 2019. "Cheapside Sloggers" was released as a single on 18 July 2019.

David Auld Kilgour MNZM is a New Zealand songwriter, musician and recording artist from Dunedin. He first started playing guitar as a teenager in the late 1970s. With brother Hamish he formed The Clean, a group that went on to become one of the most popular and most respected bands in New Zealand.

In 2004, his fifth solo album Frozen Orange was released on Arch Hill Recordings (NZ) and Merge Records (USA). For Frozen Orange, Kilgour left his native New Zealand and recorded in Nashville with members of Lambchop and Jason Loewenstein of Sebadoh, along with his longtime backing band The Heavy Eights, consisting of Taane Tokona, Alan Haig, Tony De Raad and Thomas Bell. The album also marked the first recording that Kilgour did not produce himself, a task left to Mark Nevers (producer / engineer of Lambchop).

Marlo Hoogstraten, also known by his stage name MaRLo, is a Dutch trance DJ, record producer and musician from Amsterdam.

He currently resides in Australia. In 2010, he was voted Australia's Number 2 Trance DJ and overall Number 11 in the Inthemix Top 50 DJ Poll. He started his career using hardware synthesizers (Roland JP-8000, Nord Lead, Korg Wavestation, Novation Supernova) and nowadays produces almost exclusively on his computer.

Islands is the second album by the British pop band Kajagoogoo, released on 21 May 1984 on the EMI label. This was the band's first album without lead vocalist Limahl, who had been fired by the band in mid-1983 and went on to pursue a solo career. Bass player Nick Beggs, already the group's main backing singer, took over lead vocal duties, and also wrote the lyrics. The album was co-produced by the band themselves, now a four-piece group, along with Colin Thurston, who had also produced their debut, White Feathers. It is the final album to-date to feature founding drummer Jez Strode.

The album did not sell as well as its predecessor, peaking at no. 35 in the UK Albums Chart. The album's first single, "Big Apple", reached no. 8 in the UK, but subsequent singles were less successful with "The Lion's Mouth" peaking at no. 25, and "Turn Your Back on Me" reaching no. 47.
