AY AY grew up in Bayern, Germany, in a very conservative, wealthy neighborhood where he struggled to fit in. As a young teenager he fought with addiction and started slowly abusing himself before he was diagnosed with depersonalization disorder. 

 

When AY AY turned 15, bored of his stoner friends, he felt the urge to do something meaningful, already writing raps he then immersed himself in production and started creating his own world, his way out of the reality he was born into. Since then AY AY has been writing songs which have helped him move past his struggles with anxiety and panic attacks, and to get back his life.

Award-winning artiste Waconzy makes a comeback with a new single titled “Enjoy”.

 

The Port-Harcourt born singer who rose to prominence due to the success of his break-out single “I Celebrate” which was followed up by a debut album of the same-titled and a praised sophomore set christened “Money Back Guarantee”.

 

Currently signed to DV8 Media, Waconzy resurfaces with “Enjoy”, a rich afro-beats bop heavily influenced by reggae-dancehall produced by Treasure Jay. The groovy song talks about living life to the fullest cause as every day is a gift and tomorrow is not promised.

 

Waconzy is currently wrapping up his third studio album titled “Victory”, which will house the said cut. “Enjoy” is available on all music stores and platforms.

No stranger to success, in 2008 Waconzy released his breakthrough single “I Celebrate”. The song’s music video was shot by Clarence Peters of CAPital Dream Pictures in lagos Nigeria. In 2011, Waconzy collaborated with Duncan Mighty for remix of I Celebrate. He released his debut album I Celebrate in 2010. The album’s top singles include “i Celebrate”, “too much money”, “wedding day” and “Chuku Chuku”

 

Following his debut album, Waconzy released his Money Back Guarantee album in 2013 which featured songs like “Amosu”, “Club on Fire” and “Sweet Like Tombo”. In 2015, he released the Waconzy greatest Hits compilation album which featured songs like “Na God”, “Balling like waconzy (Ekpoh)” and “Ogbono”.

Waconzy has made charitable contributions in Nigeria, helped to feed thousands and has kicked off the Waconzy versus Malaria Zero Tolerance Campaign which is primarily aimed at fighting the menace of malaria across Africa and also received and Award from WMI Film Festival in Hollywood, California. In 2013 At the 6th Annual World Music and Independent Film Festival Hollywood USA, Waconzy was honoured with a humanitarian award as his contribution to the fight against malaria in Africa through his ‘Waconzy Versus Malaria Zero Tolerance’ campaign, was duly recognized and rewarded.

Memory Alexandra is an American born singer and songwriter with Nigerian Heritage. She was born in Denver, Colorado on September 27th. Her love for music and gift in composition was evident right around the time she was learning how to walk. As Memory grew older, this talent cultivated itself into an phenomenal gift that launched her career in music. Memory’s journey into music, however was far from smooth.

Growing up, Memory was abused physically, verbally and emotionally by many of the people that she was closest to. Their pessimistic spirits and cruel behavior rained down and nearly extinguished Memory’s longtime dream of being a professional singer, songwriter and fashion designer. Haiti Babii Rips Up Rap’s Rulebook In His Chinese New Year-Themed ‘Blue Dragon’ Video  

Haiti Babii is an enigma of an artist from Stockton, CA. With his 2019 mixtape ‘Warriors’ that features artists from Philthy Rich to D-Lo, his run in Los Angeles brought him to the Real 92.3 studios to spit an unusual, and extremely unique freestyle with Bootleg Kev & DJ Hed. He made some serious waves with a unique freestyle that went viral, and now the rapper’s repackaged the radio performance into an official single “Blue Dragon,” which also got a visual treatment.

In the freestyle, Babii unleashed zany ad libs and noises, and also compared himself to a dragon. The performance went viral and caught the attention of fellow rappers like Meek Mill, Chance the Rapper and Swae Lee. “I simply did what every human does in the bathroom or car when they’re alone and I used Real 92.3’s platform to showcase it,” the Californian artist told Complex.

Rapper Haiti Babii sets the tone for an undefined style with the new track “Blue Dragon.” Evidently, the artist continues to distinguish himself with his unique style and musical flow. The structure in the lack of structure is what makes the rapper’s tracks so unique as seen in the viral freestyle video wherein Haiti Babii surprised radio hosts with an indescribable performance. Moreover, in reference to the rapper’s particular moment, he quoted: “I want to keep it authentic. Original. All over the place. So, people can learn to keep their mind free of thought.” While his music may be an acquired taste, it’s much different from anything heard before. As such, keeping an open mind is key as often versatility and distinction are what set the regular from the greats. This new song follows the release of

Haiti Babii’s project, Warrior.

The 21-year-old rapper’s unorthodox delivery calls to mind both Bay Area faves like E-40 and genre table shakers like Young Thug. Considering how strongly both of those examples has imprinted their uniqueness on the rap game, don’t be surprised if the latest Haiti Babii single takes over the airwaves this summer.

Haiti Babii found his voice when he discovered his Haitian heritage at age 17. He researched his biological father’s last name and learned he is third-generation Haitian. He grew up with his mother and stepfather, but the connection to his paternal family gave him a sense of identity.

Growing up, Haiti Babii was full of energy but couldn’t find ways to channel it. In two separate incidents as a teenager, he was shot by the police and was arrested in a case that was later dismissed. While he was in jail, he read books such as Rhonda Byrne’s “The Secret” and Sun Tzu’s “The Art of War.”

“I learned to put my rage into a hard work ethic, determination and empowerment,” he says.

Since the freestyle, Rihanna has followed him on Instagram and Haiti Babii’s streaming numbers have doubled. He has two shows lined up, one in Los Angeles on Friday at Catch One and another in Fresno in June supporting New York rapper Young M.A.

No matter what the future holds, he is confident that the freestyle has already secured his place in history.

“You’ll never forget that moment,” he says. “You’ll never forget how creative I was and how free I was and how true to myself I was at that moment.”

Josh Olsen started singing at age 5 after being inspired by his mother. She was a singer and songwriter, so his childhood was spent in recording studios and at her concerts. A shy child, Josh was bullied in school; the decision was made to home school him from 5th grade on. “Music was a way for me to get out my feelings and express myself. It made me feel powerful, like I was in control in a world where a lot of times, I felt helpless.”

Josh wrote his first song on the guitar when he was 5 years old. His mother led the music in their family’s church, so he began singing along side her every Sunday. He then went on to lead the youth group band, and also started touring around Texas doing battle of the band competitions with his twin brother.

After high school, Josh decided he wanted to chase his dreams of doing music full time. He and his brother wrote their first full length album together. Josh’s dad studied sound engineering, and had a great ear for music, so he took on the task of recording their first album. Josh and his brother decided to move out of their small town and moved the band to Austin. Josh and Jeremiah did X-Factor together, making it to the top 40 acts in America, but were cut right before the live shows. “It was a great learning experience for us, more than just being on a show, it really made me realize my love for performing, and singing at that level, made me realize I wanted to take my music as far as it could possibly go.”

Josh struggled to find his own identity doing music with his brother, not only as a person, but as an artist. The pair decided to go their separate ways, which led to Josh performing at a mega church for 2000 people.

In January 2016, Josh made the move from Austin, Texas to Los Angeles. He was able to record a full length album in one week, while working full time and not sleeping. Shortly after, Josh was given the opportunity to co-write a song for Netflix Fuller House star, Juan Pablo Di Pace, for the release of his debut single, “Broken”.

Josh has released two singles in 2018 and just released his new single, “Bad Things”, co-written by two-time Grammy nominated producer, Bart Schoudel. Josh is set to release 5 more songs this year, that will complete his first solo EP.

A product of Chicago's South Side, Lil Reese, born Tavares Taylor, broke out of the Midwest with an appearance on "I Don't Like," one of the wrathful 2012 hit singles by fellow Windy City native Chief Keef. As the track was on its way to the Top 20 of Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart, Def Jam officially announced the addition of Taylor to the label's roster. Within two days of that, the self-nicknamed Supa Savage, who was 19 years old at the time, released Don't Like, a mixtape hosted by DJs Drama and Don Cannon. By the end of the year, Def Jam circulated "Us" and "Traffic" (featuring Keef), neither of which made an impact comparable to that of "I Don't Like." Taylor continued to record with other artists, including Juelz Santana and Chicagoans Lil Durk and Fredo Santana. The mixtapes Supa Savage and Supa Savage 2, released respectively in 2013 and 2015, were issued through GBE, or Glory Boyz Entertainment, a label founded by Keef and Fredo Santana. Another mixtape, 300 Degrezz, surfaced in 2016 with support from RBC.

Fifth Angel sind in Sachen Metal eine echte Bank. Laut Rock Hard gehören ihre Achtziger-Alben "Fifth Angel" und "Time Will Tell" "zum Besten, was im Power- und Melodic Metal jemals veröffentlicht wurde".
1983 in einem Vorort von Seattle gegründet, geht die Band um Sänger Ted Pilot direkt ins Studio, um ein Vierspur-Demo aufzunehmen. 1986 erschien ihr selbstbetiteltes Debütalbum voller Power Metal-Perlen samt mehrstimmigen Gitarrensoli, Galopp-Rhythmen und hymnischen Gesängen.
1990 löste sich die Band für fast 20 Jahre auf. 2010 kehrte die Band dann auch live zurück. Danach geriet der Zug noch einmal ein wenig ins Stocken, aber seit 2017 geben Fifth Angel wieder regelmäßig Konzerte und nehmen Songs auf.

He started issuing mixtapes through OTF (Only the Family) in August 2011 with I'm a Hitta and quickly followed it with I'm Still a Hitta (April 2012) and Life Ain't No Joke (October 2012), the latter of which came out just after the typically melodic and kicked-back "L's Anthem," his debut single for Def Jam. The same year, he was featured on a string of tracks with fellow Chicago natives and close associates like Lil Reese, Fredo Santana, and Chief Keef. "Dis Ain't What U Want," his second Def Jam single, was released in May 2013, just before his affiliation with French Montana's Coke Boys was made official. His debut album, Remember My Name, followed in 2015 and featured Logic, Jeremih, and King Popo as guests. DeJ Loaf, Yo Gotti, and Young Thug landed on his 2016 LP 2X, which also featured the single "She Just Wanna" (with Ty Dolla $ign). In 2017, Durk teamed up with DeJ Loaf for the single "The One." Several mixtapes arrived during the year, including Love Songs for the Streets, Supa Vultures (with Lil Reese), and Bloodas (with Tee Grizzley). He continued into 2018 with Just Cause Y'all Waited -- which peaked just outside the Top 50 -- and Durkio Krazy, a collaborative tape with 808 Mafia's DY. Third studio album Signed to the Streets 3 appeared in November and reached the Top 20 of the Billboard 200.

Erotic Reruns is the fifth studio album by American experimental rock band Yeasayer. It was released on June 7, 2019 through the band's own label, Yeasayer Records. Recorded between 2016 to 2019 the album was self produced by the band. It centres on the themes such as politics, the aftermath of the election of President Trump, the erosion of civil liberties along with the rise of the "surveillance state", love and personal recollection.

Aug. 2, 2019 | Felix Contreras -- When vocalist Ileana Cabra Joglar and her band visited the Tiny Desk, they'd just arrived from the front lines of the historic demonstrations taking place in Puerto Rico. Two days earlier, they were part of a crowd of tens of thousands who were on the streets calling for the resignation of embattled Gov. Ricardo Rosselló. (Rosselló recently stepped down, effective Friday.)

Right from the start, it was clear what was on iLe's mind in her song "Curandera" — "I am a healer / I don't need candles to illuminate / I bring purifying water to cleanse / Removing pains so they never return" — as congas and percussion shook the room with an Afro-Caribbean beat. The song is from the Calle 13 veteran's most recent album Almadura, which is filled with metaphors and allegories about the political, social and economic conditions in Puerto Rico. If there were any doubt as to her meaning, it was dispelled as she and the band transformed the passion and revolutionary spirit of the massive street demonstrations into a performance unlike many heard in our offices.

In the chorus of the slow-burning "Contra Todo," iLe sings about channeling inner strengths and frustrations to win battles and remake the world. Her lyrics are rich with history, capturing the spirit of the streets of San Juan even as she stood, eyes closed, behind the Tiny Desk. Her entire performance is a startling reflection of this moment in Puerto Rican history.

By the time iLe and her band launched into "Sin Masticar," they'd already captured the full power of protest, as their musical arrangements raged with the intensity of a crowd joined by a shared cause and pulse.

With their second full-length Hamburg's Endseeker have found their sound. "It's old school death metal with influences of Entombed, Dismember, Grave and other Swedish death bands, but The Harvest is probably a grown up version of Endseeker," states the band. "The chemistry in Endseeker has always been fantastic but over time we have gotten even closer together and we play much better as a unit. Everyone has found his place within the band, and we know how we work together so things fall into place more naturally." Indeed, everything on The Harvest feels natural, the songs flowing freely without being predictable, and doing the maximum amount of damage as they thunder from the speakers. "The new album provides a lot of diversity and surprises. The vocals are varied and the melodies are catchy, but it's still far away from mainstream. You can hear the influential heritage but we hopefully also added some new and relevant flavor to it."

Issues is an American metalcore band based in Atlanta, Georgia, founded in 2012. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Tyler Carter, lead guitarist AJ Rebollo, bassist Skyler Acord, and drummer Josh Manuel. They are known for their unique combination of metalcore, nu metal, pop and contemporary R&B.

Following original member Mike Bohn and Tyler Carter's departure from Woe, Is Me, the duo formed Issues with keyboardist Ben Ferris, bassist Cory Ferris, guitarist AJ Rebollo, and drummer Case Snedecor, subsequently signing to Rise Records. The Ferris brothers departed from the group prior to the release of their debut Black Diamonds (2012). Snedecor left the band in 2013 and was replaced by drummer Josh Manuel while Ben and Cory Ferris were replaced by keyboardist and disc jockey Tyler "Ty" Acord and bassist Skyler Acord, respectively. The band released their debut studio album, Issues (2014), which was praised for its DJ-based breakdowns and mixture of metalcore and post-hardcore, charting at No. 9 on the U.S. Billboard 200. The band released their remix album, Diamond Dreams, in November 2014. Their sophomore studio album, Headspace, was released in May 2016. Bohn announced his departure from the band on January 4, 2018. Issues is expected to release their third studio album in 2018. On November 16, 2018, Lead Vocalist Tyler Carter tweeted out that recording of their third album had been finished.
