Jacob O'Neal Latimore Jr. (born August 10, 1996) is an American singer, rapper and actor. In 2016, Latimore released his debut album Connection. As an actor, he is best known for his roles in Black Nativity, The Maze Runner, Collateral Beauty and Detroit.

Latimore's first single "Best Friend" was released in 2005. In 2006, "Superstar" was released. In June 2014, he released his hit song "Heartbreak Heard Around The World" ft. T-Pain. In November 2015, he announced that his first debut album, "Connection", would be released on December 9, 2016. The album features singles such as "The Real" featuring Singer IshDARR from Milwaukee. The sequel to Latimore's Connection album was released on April 26, 2019.

Among the first artists signed to L.A. Reid's Hitco, the Bonfyre made her recorded debut with Ready to Love (2018), an EP of sweet and stylish contemporary R&B with references to some of the early-'80s crossover hits that fueled similarly popular singles of the '90s.

The singer behind the Bonfyre, Chelsey LaRue, started promoting her talent with cover versions uploaded to YouTube. The clips caught the attention of a club owner, who arranged for her to perform at his Harlem venue and subsequently brought her to the attention of producer Yancey Richardson. Through Richardson, Raphael Saadiq was made aware of LaRue and eager to work extensively with the developing artist after she relocated from her native Chicopee, Massachusetts to Atlanta, Georgia. A version of Refugee Camp All-Stars' "The Sweetest Thing," uploaded to SoundCloud, led to a deal with L.A. Reid's Hitco label and studio work with the likes of Harmony Samuels, Keyz, and Ayo the Producer, among numerous other songwriters and producers, as Saadiq remained in her corner. Ready to Love, the Bonfyre's six-track debut for Hitco, was released in August 2018. The tracks neatly incorporated references to early-'80s hits by the likes of Evelyn "Champagne" King, Mary Jane Girls, Keni Burke, and DeBarge, elements of which were repurposed the following decade via the likes of LL Cool J, Mary J. Blige, Blackstreet, and Groove Theory.

Most of you will know ‘Serenity’ as one of the tracks featured on my 2005 album ‘Shivers’. It was made in collaboration with a well-known Dutch pianist called Jan Vayne, and it was also crowned as the anthem for Sensation White 2005, which I performed on that year. As fate would have it, that show took place in the Amsterdam ArenA. I could have never imagined that I’d be hosting my own The Best Of Armin Only shows at the very same place twelve years later. Bonus fact: together with my record label Armada Music, Jan Vayne released an album called ‘Classical Trancelations’. I still play the album every now and then!

Bas started rapping as a lark and within a decade became a central member of the Dreamville roster with Last Winter (2014), Too High to Riot (2016), and Milky Way (2018), charting albums characterized by thoughtful and versatile wordplay.

The son of Sudanese parents, Bas (short for Abbas Hamad) was raised in Paris until the age of eight, when his family moved to Jamaica, Queens. Coerced by a friend, he started rapping in 2010, and a series of informal sessions later was linked to J. Cole. Bas' development as a performer was fostered by touring with Cole, who eventually signed the fledgling artist to his Interscope-affiliated Dreamville label. Last Winter, jokingly referred to as "An album from a n*gga who ain't got alotta fans yet," was released as a digital download and a CD in April 2014. It featured appearances from Cole and Mack Wilds and debuted on Billboard's R&B/hip-hop chart at number 18. Bas contributed to Dreamville's Revenge of the Dreamers, Vol. 2 compilation in 2015 prior to releasing his second proper album, Too High to Riot, the following March. Highlighted by "Night Job" and more lucid and energized than indicated by its title, the full-length went Top Ten R&B/hip-hop and cracked the Top 50 of the Billboard 200.

Milky Way followed in August 2018, becoming Bas' third consecutive Top 20 R&B/hip-hop entry and debuting on the Billboard 200 at number 35, pushed by the breezy, Edu Lobo-sampling Cole collaboration "Tribe." The following spring, he teamed up with fellow Dreamville rapper J.I.D for the K-Quick-produced single "Fried Rice." It appeared on Spilled Milk, Vol. 1 (the first of an episodic series of EPs) along with appearances from Ari Lennox, EarthGang, and Kiddominant, among others.

Amsterdam's Sam Feldt earned attention in Europe and then worldwide for his melodic house remixes, mixtapes, and collaborations beginning in the mid-2010s. Early releases included 2014's "Bloesem" with De Hofnar and "Hot Skin" with Kav Verhouzer on the Dutch label Spinnin' Records. After a series of live shows in Europe, which he built over time to contain mostly his own productions, he toured North America for the first time in early 2015. "Midnight Hearts," with the Him featuring ANG13, followed soon after, and that spring, Feldt signed with Universal Music for the worldwide release of his song "Show Me Love," featuring English vocalist Kimberly Anne. It charted throughout Western Europe, hitting the Top Five in the U.K., as well as landing on the dance and streaming charts in the U.S. By the end of 2015, he'd performed on five continents. The following summer, he had a hit at home with "Summer on You," a collaboration with Lucas & Steve and Wulf. That same year, Feldt issued his first EP, Been a While, which featured guests like Dante Klein, Milow, Lulleaux, and Bright Sparks. "Runaways" with Deepend featuring Teemu followed in late 2016 and charted in Europe, later spawning a remix EP. The next year, Feldt released his debut LP, Sunrise, which featured the singles "Yes" with Akon, "Fade Away" with Lush & Simon and Inna, and "Be My Lover" with Alex Schulz. An album of remixes, After the Sunset, arrived in 2018, as did the single "Heaven (Don't Have a Name)," which featured vocals from actor Jeremy Renner. Spring 2019 saw Feldt issue the singles "One Day (feat. ROZES)" and "Magnets (feat. Sophie Simmons)."

After years of plotting and informal recording, YBN Almighty Jay moved from big dreams of rap stardom to a very real celebrity status. Starting out equally excited about rapping as he was about gaming and his aspirations to be a YouTube star, Almighty Jay made connections with other rappers while playing Xbox Live as a teen. Those friendships made while gaming would grow into the YBN collective, a crew of rappers Jay would collaborate with and release his solo tracks in affiliation with. He scored his first hit in late 2017 with the viral single "Chopsticks" and became more famous from there with his own singles and features on huge songs from other artists.

Texas-born rapper Jay Bradley grew up listening to his mother's gospel music before discovering rap and starting to write his own rhymes as early as age nine. As a teenager he aspired to be a YouTube personality and took the name King Almighty Jay, inspired by Chief Keef's 2013 mixtape Almighty So. Also an active gamer, he was regularly connecting with other gamers on Xbox Live, and around 2014 he befriended Nick Simmons, a fellow gamer from Birmingham, Alabama. This was the birth of the YBN crew, originally a gaming collective that morphed into something more music-related as these remote friends started freestyling to each other while playing Grand Theft Auto. For the next several years, Jay and Simmons (now going under the name YBN Nahmir) would separately write and record material, releasing tracks and mixtapes online. They didn't meet in person until 2017, shortly following the release of YBN Nahmir's breakthrough single "Rubbin Off the Paint." Jay's own career soon took off with viral single and video "Chopsticks" and a digital distribution deal with Human Re Sources, the same company behind Nahmir's ascent. A handful of tracks from YBN Almighty Jay hit commercial streaming platforms through 2018, including a "Chopsticks" remix (with Rich the Kid), "Takin Off," "Bread Winners" (with Nahmir), "2 Tone Drip," and "Off Instagram." In 2018 Jay collaborated with Rich the Kid on several tracks, and gained attention outside of his music for his relationship with celebrity model/entrepreneur Blac Chyna. While the YBN collective included around ten members, Jay was one of the core three members of the crew along with Nahmir and YBN Cordae. In fall of 2018 YBN: The Mixtape surfaced, collecting some of the best tracks from these core talents of the YBN clique.

Resident Alien is the first album by the British glam rock band Spacehog. Released by Sire Records and Elektra Records on 24 October 1995, the album was certified gold on 29 July 1996 and included the hit single "In the Meantime", which reached the top of the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart in the US, and remained there for four weeks. Most of Resident Alien's basic tracks were recorded live in a barn in Woodstock, New York. It was intended to give the album the immediacy of live room recording.

Made up of Austin Porter, Brandon Arreaga, Nick Mara, Edwin Honoret, and Zion Kuwonu, Prettymuch are an American/Canadian boy band formed in 2017 by British music mogul Simon Cowell. Each member was originally pursuing a solo career until Cowell decided there was much power, aplomb, and magic to be created in combining the five as a boy band. The boys moved into a Los Angeles residence together and began writing and rehearsing both vocal exercises and dance routines, touching on hits by Michael Jackson and Drake while developing their own style. Working on their debut album, the group released a single in the summer of 2017 -- "Would You Mind" was co-written with renowned record producer Savan Kotecha (the Weeknd, Ariana Grande). The song quickly went viral, appearing on numerous streaming hot lists. Prettymuch went on to make their live debut at the 2017 Teen Choice Awards. A year later, they delivered Prettymuch an EP, featuring the single "10,000 Hours." A handful of additional singles appeared during the remainder of 2018 including the Ed Sheeran-penned "Summer on You" and the Rich the Kid collaboration "Solita." Prettymuch returned in 2019 with their second EP, Phases.

"Higher Love" is a 1986 song by English singer Steve Winwood. It was the first single released from his fourth solo LP, Back in the High Life. It was written by Winwood and Will Jennings, and produced by Russ Titelman and Winwood. The female vocals on the song were performed by Chaka Khan, who also appeared in the promotional music video.

A cover of "Higher Love" was released as a single by Norwegian record producer Kygo and late American singer Whitney Houston in June 2019. The song was released to streaming and digital download formats on 28 June 2019, by label RCA Records. The song marks Houston's first posthumous release in two and a half years, following the song "Memories" which was released as a duet with Malaysian singer Siti Nurhaliza in December 2016.

Houston's cover of the Winwood track originally featured on the Japanese edition of her third studio album, I'm Your Baby Tonight (1990). This version of the track was produced by American musician Narada Michael Walden, and therefore Walden is credited as a producer of "Higher Love" alongside Kygo. Houston performed "Higher Love" at concerts during her 1990 Feels So Right Tour in Japan.

In the UK, Higher Love was a commercial success, peaking at number four in the UK Singles Chart, making it Kygo's third top ten hit and first top 5 hit, and Houston's eighteenth top 10 hit. It is also Houston's first posthumous top 10 hit. The single also peaked at number one in Scotland. Houston had last reached the UK top five with "Million Dollar Bill" in October 2009. Therefore, "Higher Love" became Houston's highest-charting single since 1999 when "My Love Is Your Love" peaked at number 2.

Since its release, "Higher Love" has reached the top five in Israel, Norway, and Ireland, plus the top ten in Hungary, Sweden and Switzerland. It also hit the top twenty charts in Australia and Belgium. In the US, Higher Love debuted at number 63 on the Billboard Hot 100, with 6.6 million US streams in its first week. The song also topped Billboards Dance Club Songs chart in the US, becoming Kygo's third number one on this chart, also giving Houston her fourteenth chart-topper on this chart.

Baby Fat shared the stage with Tobe's exclusive producer and emcee, LaNell "NELL" Grant, band members and backup singers who, like soldiers in arms, performed a tight, orchestrated and musically rich set. If there were any doubters in the office, they were quickly won over.

Tobe's performance was a five-song medley sandwiched effortlessly into a 15-minute block. Launching with "Houston Tribute," he used clever and evocative wordplay to rap about coming of age in the South. Accented almost hypnotically by a trio of harmonies provided by background vocalists Luke Whitney, David Michael Wyatt and Madeline Edwards, Tobe's mindful words are like a life hack for those seeking guidance. Throughout the set he offered pleas for listeners to look past inherent hardships and evil and to keep their eyes on the prize, while he reflected on his own decision to go against his Nigerian roots and parental expectations to pursue his dreams of being a rapper.

And through it all, young Baby Fat sat silently in her mom's arms, absorbing the spiritual energy of her dad's music.

Tobe Nwigwe is a Houston-based rapper who spreads inspirational, meaningful messages through his music. His self-described aim is to "make purpose popular." He is easily recognizable by his deep yet gentle voice and exceptionally agile rhyming style. He is highly prolific, regularly releasing new songs and videos, often co-starring his wife, Ivory Rogers (simply known as Fat), and producer LaNell Grant (aka Nell). His songs have been collected on full-length releases such as 2018's The Originals.

Nwigwe, a first generation Nigerian-American, was born in Alief, Texas, a suburb of Houston. He attended the University of North Texas and was a star linebacker on the university's football team, but he left due to a foot injury. He first received attention in 2014 for singles such as "Been Grinding" and "Coulda Woulda Shoulda," which appeared on his EP Pardon My Lateness. He became heavily productive in 2017, releasing Tobe from the Swat and two Get Twisted Sundays mixtapes over the course of the year. Numerous singles and videos appeared throughout 2018; many of the tracks appeared on The Originals and More Originals.

A prolific Montreal-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, Yves Jarvis is the performing name of Jean-Sebastien Audet, whose experimental pop songs combine disparate elements of soul, psych, folk, post-punk, and lo-fi indie. Under the name Un Blonde, Audet found critical acclaim for his independently released 2016 album, Good Will Come to You, before changing his name to Yves Jarvis and signing with the Anti- label in 2018.

Originally from Calgary, Audet began recording music during his teenage years, trying out various facets of his artistic personality under a variety of names. Beginning around 2012, he began releasing music alternately as Faux Fur and Darren Wantz, though Un Blonde eventually became the creative vehicle that tied together his myriad influences. Following 2015's Water the Next Day album, Audet relocated to Montreal, where the cerebral indie soul of 2016's Good Will Come to You brought him critical accolades. Originally released by Montreal-based cassette label Egg Paper, the album was picked up for more widespread release by Canadian indie Flemish Eye in 2017. Near the end of that year, Audet announced his intention to forge ahead as Yves Jarvis, a combination of his middle name and his mother's surname. A deal with Anti- was announced, and in 2018 the ethereal "Fruits of Disillusion" single was released in advance of his full-length debut under the Jarvis name. Several other singles appeared before the 22-track album The Same But by Different Means was released in early 2019.

Die Happy is a German alternative rock band from Ulm.

The group was founded in 1993 by Czech singer Marta Jandová and Thorsten Mewes. Even though the band is based in Germany, their songs are written and performed almost exclusively in English.

Jandová provides additional vocals on the song "Undivided" from Dog Eat Dog's 2006 release, Walk With Me, "Horizont" from In Extremo's album Mein Rasend Herz, "Wie weit/How far" from Apocalyptica's self-titled album and the 2010 single "Halt dich an mir fest" with Revolverheld from the album In Farbe. She is also featured on "Träumst Du?" from Oomph!'s album GlaubeLiebeTod, the winning entry for the 2007 Bundesvision Song Contest. Jandová was a foreign exchange student in the USA before joining Die Happy.

Spacehog are an English rock band formed in 1994 in New York City. Their music is heavily influenced by David Bowie, Queen, and T.Rex. The band's best known single is "In the Meantime".

Resident Alien is the first album by the British glam rock band Spacehog. Released by Sire Records and Elektra Records on 24 October 1995, the album was certified gold on 29 July 1996 and included the hit single "In the Meantime", which reached the top of the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart in the US, and remained there for four weeks. Most of Resident Alien's basic tracks were recorded live in a barn in Woodstock, New York. It was intended to give the album the immediacy of live room recording.

Kiana Ledé Brown (born April 3, 1997) is an American singer, songwriter, actress and pianist currently based in Los Angeles, California. She starred as Zoe Vaughn on the second season of MTV's horror series Scream.

Following her departure from RCA Records, Ledé signed with Republic Records and released her debut EP Myself in July 2018. The EP includes her breakout song "Ex", which has become her first top 10 hit on the US R&B Songs chart, peaking at number nine.

Ledé is currently working on her debut album, which she says is set to be released "really soon".
