Entrails are a death metal band from Sweden led by founding guitarist and chief songwriter Jimmy Lundqvist. They are one of the most successful bands in the genre -- many critics refer to them as "arena metal." The band's appeal is due to a strict adherence to vintage Swedish death metal tropes. They employ dirty, overdriven, chainsaw guitars with double-picked single lines, and chugging riffs. Distorted, lowtuned, basslines, aggressive, martial drumming, and growled, upmixed vocals, make up the blueprint. Despite many lineup changes, the sound remains consistent. Listeners can draw a straight line between their albums, from 2010's FDA Rekotz-issued Tales from the Morgue through 2013's Metal Blade debut Raging Death, to 2019's Rise of the Reaper. In old school death metal, the direct link to tradition resonates with fans who view evolution as curse of concession to trends. Entrails are a major festival draw on both sides of the Atlantic as well as in South America.

Though the band wouldn't fully coalesce into a project until 2008, Entrails were originally formed in 1990 by guitarist Jimmy Lundqvist, with the band dissolving later that decade after no recordings were released. The band was eventually revived years later after Lundqvist, after coming across the band's old demos, decided to re-record the material himself, resulting in 2009's Reborn. The Swedish band signed on with FDA Rekotz in 2010, and Lundqvist built a full band around the project while also releasing the band's first official album, Tales from the Morgue, later that year. A second album, The Tomb Awaits, followed in 2011 before the band signed on with Metal Blade the following year. With a contract on a big metal label and a solid band featuring singer and bassist Joakim Svensson, guitarist Mathias Nilsson, and drummer Adde Mitroulis, Entrails went into the studio to begin work on their third effort, Raging Death, which arrived in the middle of 2013 on Metal Blade. The following year, the band returned with Resurrected from the Grave, a collection of the band's early (and hard to find) demos that were re-recorded by Lundqvist when he first revived the band. The band's fourth studio long-player, Obliteration, dropped in 2015, followed by World Inferno in 2017. In August of 2019, Metal Blade released the single "Crawl In Your Guts" as a preview to the longplayer Rise of the Reaper, and followed it in September with "The Pyre." The album, released in mid-October, was mixed and mastered by Dan Swanö.

A clutch of big, anthem-built records has put UK artist Harrison amidst a generation of electronic music artists that have dominated dance culture for some years. Whether its sharing the stage, either as a vocalist or DJ, or collaborating in the studio, Harrison continues to push his career forward with a strong musical identity that has taken him across Europe, Asia, North America and Africa, whilst picking up support from the biggest names in dance that include Tiësto, Avicii, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Radio 1’s Danny Howard.

Working with David Guetta and Glowinthedark back in 2013 became a breakthrough moment for the young British artist. Grasping this opportunity with both hands, Harrison has not looked back since, expanding on his musical ambitions and continuing to drive his vision for creativity. What has followed has been an impressive back catalogue of music, having worked with artists that include Laidback Luke, Steve Aoki, Dannic, Thomas Gold, VINAI and Hardwell.

As a singer/songwriter Harrison continue to draw the attention of the electronic scene’s elite thanks to his inimitable vocal, and the strong identity of his lyrics, which fit well in a range of genres from electro house through to the dark, bass heavy sounds of the scene. His recent record with Knife Party is a testament to that. Titled ‘Death & Desire’, it was the duo’s first release since their 2015’s debut album Abandon Ship, with Harrison having the pleasure to team-up with the legendary Knife Party for this special record – something that was clearly felt by Zane Lowe who awarded the single #WorldRecord on his trend setting Beats1 radio show. The single also achieved #1 in the Dance Chart on Apple Music, as well as close to one million Spotify streams, on the back of some impressive radio support including BBC Radio 1’s Dance Anthems.

With all his studio successes, it’s in the live environment where Harrison’s sound really shines. Renowned for delivering a unique DJ performance which is a hybrid of DJing with live vocals, Harrison brings a flair and presence to each show that is unrivalled. Packed with crowd interaction and an indomitable energy, his shows have grown to become solid crowd pleasers everywhere from Ministry of Sound and Cream in UK to META Music Festival in China or World DJ Festival in South Korea.

Whilst Harrison is a familiar name on the release calendar for the likes of Armada, Spinnin’ and Revealed Recordings, the launch of his own Outlaw imprint paved the way for further exploration with his sound. Releases such as ‘Blinding my Vision’, ‘2 White Lies’ and ‘Been A Long Time’ all further demonstrated Harrison’s qualities as a producer and songwriter.

What’s next for Harrison is a busy schedule of new releases and an exciting run of tour dates. From new music coming out on Revealed Recordings and Spinnin’ Records, as well as collaborations with artists like Dannic and ALOK, he will also be on the road with shows throughout Europe and Asia. This next phase of Harrison’s career is one that will see an abundance of exciting new records
