Melii - "Motions (Album Stream)" [Hip-Hop, Album Streams]

Motions (Album Stream)

"Motions (Album Stream)" music video by Melii
Added: 18-10-2019
Genre : Hip-Hop, Album Streams
Description : Assertive rapper, singer, and songwriter Melii made significant commercial headway in 2017 with a bilingual remake of Cardi B's "Bodak Yellow," but she promptly made it known that she had more to offer than creative twists on the work of other artists. Raised on an assortment of Dominican and Latin fusion sounds in her Harlem household, Melii had her head turned in another direction when a cousin played her J. Cole's "College Boy." At the time, Melii was only nine years old, but the track pointed her toward rap as a viable creative outlet beyond writing. She made her official recorded debut in August 2017 with the mellow but assured "No Simple Chick," followed it two months later with "Bodak Yellow," and by the end of the year had released a third single, the tougher "Balling." The atmospheric "Bk Woe" and pouty yet swaggering "Icey" were issued in early 2018 as Melii prepared the release of her first album. Additional singles followed throughout the year including "Sh*t Talk," "La Envidia Mata," and "Como Si Na." Her debut, PhAses, landed in 2019 and featured appearances by Tory Lanez, Odalys, and A Boogie Wit da Hoodie.

Added: 18-10-2019
Genre : Hip-Hop, Album Streams
Description : With his slicked-back hair and leather jacket, American rapper G-Eazy was known as "the James Dean of rap" when he debuted in the late 2000s. Armed with bars that detailed hedonistic excess and conflicted inner turmoil, he steadily climbed the charts in the 2010s on the strength of his hit duet with Bebe Rexha, "Me, Myself & I," from his major-label debut, 2014's These Things Happen. He repeated that success in 2017 with third album The Beautiful & Damned, which paired him with Halsey on the platinum "Him & I," and A$AP Rocky and Cardi B on the Top Four hit "No Limit."

From a strictly musical perspective, Norwegian singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Ihsahn is among the most influential and celebrated personas in European black metal history. He textures his metallic and progressive tendencies with ambient, industrial, techno, classical, and found sounds. His sound has evolved toward prog metal since his early days with pioneers Emperor. In that band he helped to architect a massively aggressive and threatening musical attack, complete with blistering tremolo picking, angular symphonic keyboards, and blastbeat drums that influenced the two generations of metal bands. After their initial split in 2001 (they have reunited twice for festival tours and 2000s and 2010s recordings), Ihsahn's early solo offerings showcased a jagged fusion of prog and black metal (The Adversary, angL, and After) that evolved into the wildly experimental (2012's Eremita and the improvised masterpiece Der Seelenbrechen), eventually coming full-circle to mine a new vein of extreme prog rock on Arktis and Amr.

More Yung Bleu

Based out of Mobile, Alabama, rapper Yung Bleu (born Jeremy Biddle, 1994) got into the game in the early 2010s after watching his brother interact with local hip-hop circles. Though rapping since he was 11, he first entered the public arena with self-released mixtapes like 2013's Hello World before eventually becoming involved with Young Boss Entertainment, who worked with the young artist on releasing some early tracks. Over the next few years, Yung Bleu produced a series of mixtapes, Investments, Investments 2, and Investments 3, each expanding on his dark, ominous style and increasingly intricate flows. The rapper eventually developed a working relationship with Boosie Badazz, collaborating with him on several tracks and landing a deal with Boosie's Columbia Records-affiliated imprint, Badazz Music Syndicate.

Horror-loving metal outfit Ice Nine Kills combine intense metalcore aggression with a theatrical flair inspired by classic horror films and the occult. Hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, they debuted in the early 2000s, switching through styles before focusing on a melodic hardcore sound that helped push the breakthrough 2015 LP Every Trick in the Book onto the Billboard 200.

Taking their name from ice-nine, the world-ending substance at the heart of Kurt Vonnegut's classic novel Cat's Cradle, Ice Nine Kills spent their early days rotating through both members and styles at an impressive clip, dabbling in ska-punk and post-hardcore on self-released albums like The Pop-Punk Ska Years (2002) and Last Chance to Make Amends (2006) before settling on a more stable lineup in 2009, featuring singer Spencer Charnas (the band's only founding member), guitarists Justin deBlieck and Justin Morrow, bassist Shane Bisnett, and drummer Conor Sullivan. This lineup would shift the band in a heavier, more metal direction with 2010's Safe Is Just a Shadow, which was released on Ferret Music. Bisnett eventually parted ways with Ice Nine Kills in 2011, with Steve Koch stepping in to replace him on tours with bands like the Word Alive and Issues. An EP, The Predator, followed in 2013.

In late 2015, Ice Nine Kills signed with Fearless Records and issued their breakthrough effort, Every Trick in the Book, the band's fourth studio LP and first showing on the Billboard 200. In the midst of unrelenting touring, the band issued a re-recorded version of 2010's Safe Is Just a Shadow and a handful of singles, including "Nature of the Beast" and a cover of "I Don't Wanna Live Forever." In 2018, Sullivan parted ways with the group, reducing Ice Nine Kills to a core creative trio. Soon after, they kicked off their next album cycle with the release of "The American Nightmare," which was inspired by A Nightmare on Elm Street. That theme would inform their fifth album, The Silver Scream, which found them fully embracing their passion for horror classics by crafting 13 tracks inspired by 13 movies, such as Friday the 13th ("Thank God It's Friday"), Saw ("The Jig Is Up"), and The Shining ("Enjoy Your Slay"). The set debuted in the Top 5 of the U.S. Hard Music and Rock charts, rising into the Top 30 of the Billboard 200.

Presented anonymously, contemporary R&B artist H.E.R. (Having Everything Revealed) surfaced in 2016 with H.E.R., Vol. 1, an EP of downcast post-breakup material that sounded both vulnerable and assured, much like what followed from the singer and songwriter. The seven-track EP appeared on major-label RCA in September 2016 with limited promotion, but labelmates Alicia Keys and Bryson Tiller spread the word through social media, and a cover of Drake's "Jungle" helped send the set to number 28 on Billboard's R&B/hip-hop chart. A similarly styled follow-up, H.E.R., Vol. 2, arrived in June 2017 and debuted at number 22. The EPs were soon combined and expanded, released as H.E.R., with six additional cuts -- including "Best Part," a number 32 R&B/hip-hop hit previously heard on Daniel Caesar's Freudian -- referred to as B-sides.

In 2018, H.E.R. and Khalid teamed up for the Superfly soundtrack cut "This Way," and that August a third EP was released, I Used to Know Her: The Prelude, which went straight to the top of the R&B/hip-hop chart thanks to "Could've Been," a duet with Bryson Tiller. By the end of the year, she was nominated for five Grammy awards: Album of the Year and Best R&B Album (for H.E.R.), Best R&B Performance (for "Best Part"), Best R&B Song (for "Focus"), and Best New Artist. At the 2019 ceremony, she took home the prizes for Best R&B Album and Performance. Later that year, she linked up with a diverse range of collaborators such as Chris Brown ("Come Together"), Jess Glynne ("Thursday"), Ed Sheeran ("I Don't Want Your Money"), and YBN Cordae ("Racks") while also issuing the single "21."

A Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, and producer who also raps and plays guitar, Marian Mereba, known simply as Mereba, got her start with a series of folk-soul hybrid releases including Room for Living EP (2013), and has since recorded for Interscope. Her full-length major-label debut was made with The Jungle Is the Only Way Out (2019).

Marian Mereba grew up in Philadelphia, where she began writing and singing at a young age and eventually started playing piano and guitar. During her early teens, she moved to Greensboro, North Carolina, and after high school headed farther south to Atlanta, where she attended and graduated from Spelman College. She also spent the better part of a year in her father's native Ethiopia.

Mereba made her proper debut in 2013 with the self-released EP Room for Living, an alternately spacy and rustic set accompanied by her own guitar playing. A short-term affiliation with the independent Red Kotton label resulted in the 2014 singles "September" and "Radio Flyer," both of which reappeared three years later on Kotton House, Vol. 1, an EP that also contained a Doug E. Fresh collaboration entitled "Living on a Dream." In 2018, Mereba released her first singles for major-label Interscope. A 9th Wonder collaboration titled "Black Truck" marked her debut that February and was followed seven months later by "Planet U," which she worked on with Ayo Olatunji and Sam Hoffman. Both tracks were included on The Jungle Is the Only Way Out, which arrived in February 2019 with Hoffman as Mereba's primary songwriting and production partner. The LP also featured appearances from 6LACK and JID.

Description :

Australian musician Gab Strum makes bright yet melancholic downtempo electronic pop under the name Japanese Wallpaper, as showcased on releases such as the 2019 full-length Glow.

Melbourne resident Strum first began making music on his laptop when he was 15. Inspired by the Postal Service and Tycho, he started crafting loop-based tracks during a lengthy family vacation. When he returned, he began uploading some of his songs to SoundCloud. He received his big break when he submitted his 2013 single "Breathe In" (featuring Wafia) to Unearthed High, an emerging talent competition held by Australian radio station Triple J. Much to Strum's surprise, the song won the 2014 competition, and was subsequently chosen by Zach Braff to appear in the soundtrack to the film Wish I Was Here.

Strum released his debut EP, Japanese Wallpaper, in 2015, and the release soon garnered millions of streams online. He released "Cocoon" in 2016, followed by "Fooling Around" two years later, in advance of Glow, his full-length debut on Nettwerk Records. Arriving in 2019, Glow was sung entirely by Strum, and incorporated more acoustic instruments into his electronic pop sound. Single "Imaginary Friends" included backing vocals by Hatchie.

Tour Dates:

Inspired by the work of acts such as the Who and Hüsker Dü, Press Club are a four-piece alt-rock/punk outfit from Melbourne, Australia. Formed in 2016, the band quickly became known on the local scene for their loud and brash songs such as "Suburbia" and "Headwreck." Made up of vocalist Natalie Foster, guitarist Greg Rietwyk, bass guitarist Rufio MacRae, and drummer Frank Lees, the group came together out of the ashes of former bands. They spent 2017 writing material and performing throughout Melbourne, earning an ever-burgeoning and committed fan base. In 2018, their single "Suburbia" caught the attention of several Australian radio stations and the band were subsequently picked to perform at the NYE on the Hill and Falls festivals. Mid-2018 saw the group record and produce their debut album in their native Brunswick. The quartet opted to record entirely to tape and relied purely on analog equipment to achieve the more raw and incendiary elements of their sound. They performed a number of shows around Australia and the U.K. before delivering their LP Late Teens, in January 2019. They toured in promotion of the record with the Smith Street Band throughout early 2019.

DMA’S live:

An indie trio from Sydney, Australia and throwback to the Manchester scene of the early '90s, DMA's formed in 2012 when Johnny Took and Tommy O'Dell -- members of the local rock band Underlights -- started writing songs with guitarist Matt Mason. Working together as three songwriters, the trio quickly developed a sound that drew from early-'90s Mancunian indie rock, with particular likenesses to some of the scene's greats like Oasis, Primal Scream, and Happy Mondays. DMA's quickly signed to the tiny label I Oh You on the strength of their home-recorded demos, and before long their debut single, "Delete," climbed the charts and garnered praise from the press, musical peers, and a growing fan base. Their self-titled debut EP surfaced in the summer of 2014, and in early 2016 they dropped their debut full-length, Hills End. Late 2017 and early 2018 saw the release of the singles "Dawning," "In the Air," and "For Now" ahead of the arrival of their sophomore full-length effort, also titled For Now, later that April. 2019 saw the release of their first live album, MTV Unplugged Live, which captured one of the group's sets at the Melbourne Memo Music Hall in 2018.

Screamer is the sixth studio album by American alternative rock band Third Eye Blind. It was released on October 18, 2019.

Frontman Stephan Jenkins had made many different comments about the prospect of the band recording a sixth studio album prior to the release of Screamer. As far back as 2012, Jenkins stated that the band would not ever make a sixth studio album, stating that after the release of their fifth studio album, 2015's, Dopamine, they would cease recording full albums in favor of touring and recording smaller EP releases. In the coming years, the band would focus on EP releases, including We Are Drugs in 2016, a cancelled EP entitled Summer Gods that was supposed to explore trap music in 2017, and an EP of cover songs, Thanks for Everything, in 2018. Jenkins' stance on recording an album wavered at times in this era, sometimes referring to Summer Gods as an album, and explaining that the recording of Thanks for Everything was to find inspiration for recording a future studio album.

As late as November 2018, Jenkins was still referring to the release as an EP, though by May 2019, Jenkins announced it had grown from an EP to a full 10 song studio album. In July 2019, Jenkins announced that it had expanded into an 11 song album titled Screamer, scheduled for release on October 18, 2019.[
