German rave machine Scooter are one of the most successful dance acts of all time, having sold millions of records, scored dozens of hit singles and full-lengths, and completed numerous international tours since forming in the early '90s. The group is the embodiment of dance music at its most over the top and excessive, taking the KLF's concept of stadium house to its extreme. Led by austere frontman H.P. Baxxter, the majority of the group's songs feature gigantic singalong choruses (often referencing a wide spectrum of both pop and underground hits), crowd noise, and the loudest, most booming beats imaginable. Starting by producing happy hardcore and hard trance, the highly prolific group's sound has rapidly evolved with the times, incorporating dance music trends such as jumpstyle, dubstep, and electro-house. Their carnivalesque live shows involve lasers, pyrotechnics, dancers, and copious amounts of audience participation. Scooter have remained massively successful without signing to a major label, having released music on Edel imprint Club Tools during the '90s before starting their own Sheffield Tunes in 2000.

The group celebrated two decades of hitmaking with 20 Years of Hardcore in late 2013. Jordan then announced that he would be leaving Scooter after the group's 2014 tour. His replacement, Phil Speiser, made his debut with Scooter on the group's 17th studio album, The Fifth Chapter. Ace appeared in 2016, followed by Scooter Forever in 2017.

An emo-charged noise punk outfit from Baltimore, Maryland, Teen Suicide was built around the core duo of vocalist/guitarist Sam Ray and drummer Eric Livingston. Formed in 2009, the duo issued a compilation of early demos titled Bad Vibes in 2011, followed by a trio of EPs (DC Snuff Film, Goblin Problems, and Hymns) and their debut full-length (I Will Be My Own Hell Because There Is a Devil Inside My Body) via Run for Cover Records in 2012. Bass player Alec Simke joined the band shortly after the album's release and appeared on the group's third EP, Waste Yrself. Teen Suicide disbanded the following year, but the ensuing years saw the members sporadically re-forming for one-off shows and the occasional single. In 2015 they released remastered and expanded versions of their debut LP and the DC Snuff Film and Waste Yrself EPs, the latter of which were issued as a single album. A new single appeared late that year titled "Sonic Youth," though it was nebulously uncredited to Teen Suicide. A few months later it was revealed that they had a new full-length album ready for release. Sporting another lengthy title, the band's sophomore LP, It's the Big Joyous Celebration, Let's Stir the Honeypot, arrived in April 2016.

Ramones - "Psycho Therapy" [Rock & Alternative]

Psycho Therapy

"Psycho Therapy" music video by Ramones
Added: 30-10-2019
Genre : Rock & Alternative
Description : Ramones - Psycho Therapy (Official Music Video)

You're watching the official music video for Ramones - "Psycho Therapy" from the album 'Subterranean Jungle' (1983)

-

Subterranean Jungle is the seventh studio album by the American punk rock band the Ramones, released by Sire Records on February 23, 1983. The album appealed to a hardcore punk rock style rather than featuring several pop oriented pieces; this is because guitarist Johnny Ramone received more leeway in steering the overall genre with his hard rock-influenced riffs. The recording sessions saw disputes between band members, mainly because many of them were dealing with alcohol addiction, or, in bassist Dee Dee Ramone's case, other drugs.

The album begins with two cover songs, and features a third on Side 2. Lyrics circle various themes, while the structuring of the songs shifted towards hard rock, psychedelic rock. The album was deemed by critics to be an attempt to retreat to the band's roots and received mostly positive reviews. Subterranean Jungle was not very successful commercially, peaking at number 83 on the US Billboard 200 and failing to chart internationally. The singles released from the album did not chart either. This is the last album by the band to feature Marky Ramone on drums until the 1989 album Brain Drain.

Side B of the album begins with "Psycho Therapy", which was written by both Johnny and Dee Dee; the song has since grown into one of the Ramones' most popular songs. Dee Dee recalled: "I knew we needed a real 'Ramones song' for the album, and I knew [Johnny] was depressed about how things were going. He needed that song to get excited about the band again."

German electro-house producer Tujamo (aka Matthias Richter) is a globally celebrated, charting musician whose unique take on dance music, "the Eastern Sound," is often considered by critics to be a genre of its own. His singles have charted globally, and his downtempo anthems have driven dancefloors from China to Russia and New York to L.A.

He developed a passion for music in his teens. He began DJ'ing at age 17 and just a year later, in 2006, won a talent competition at one of Germany's most famous nightclubs, Club Index in Schüttorf, where he went on to become a resident DJ. That same year he began producing tracks under the Tujamo alias, releasing his debut single, "Mombasa," in 2011. His first dance chart hit came the following year with "Who," produced in conjunction with fellow Germans Plastik Funk. The tune was played out by big names like Avicii and became a huge hit at Miami house music mecca the Winter Music Conference. In 2013, he had his first mainstream hit with "Boneless," a collaboration with Steve Aoki and Chris Lake, which went to number 49 on the German singles chart. In 2014 his biggest hit yet came when the reworked "Who," retitled "Dr. Who" and featuring British rapper Sneakbo, hit number 21 on the U.K. singles chart. Also making a name for himself as a remixer for the likes of Bob Sinclar, Peter Gelderblom, and Wynter Gordon, he played all over Germany and internationally, including a tour of South America. In 2018, his single "With U (feat. Karen Harding)" was picked by an international group of streaming services and ran up the digital charts.

Canadian rapper Sonreal was born Aaron Hoffmann in Vernon, British Columbia in 1985. Growing up in a small town, he was interested early on in skateboarding and heavy metal, but his tastes quickly shifted to a love of hip-hop after becoming fascinated with classic albums by pillars of the early-'90s East Coast scene like Nas and Mobb Deep. After graduating high school, he spent all of his free time recording his own original tracks, resulting in his earliest mixtapes such as 2006's Trapped in the Streets, 2009's The Stroll, and the more polished 2011 effort Where's Waldo. He began to be recognized for his work in Canada, and with the help of a breakout video for his track "Everywhere We Go," constant touring, and releasing of new music in the form of EPs and free mixtapes, he eventually inked a deal with Capitol Records. With the support of the label, he delivered his first proper full-length studio album, One Long Dream, in 2017.

Psychedelic jazz/pop trio Brainstory moved away from conventional jazz to incorporate a variety of genres, yielding a unique blend of trippy yet smooth sounds.

Brothers Kevin and Tony Martin played music together from a young age, initially seeking straightforward punk jams. Through a combination of their frequent visits to a gospel church and their grandfather's collection of jazz and soul records, they eventually shifted gears to incorporate those elements. Having enrolled at separate colleges, the brothers parted ways for a time, however, upon finishing their respective degrees they reconvened in Los Angeles. After reuniting they formed an acoustic duo, which got them into the local live circuit. They met drummer Eric Hagstrom in 2012, morphing into a conventional jazz trio, something that they pursued for a couple of years. Wanting to diversify their sound, they began incorporating elements of psychedelia and soul into their music, coining the name Brainstory in the process. Their eponymous debut EP as a trio arrived in 2017. They became good friends with fellow musician Chicano Batman, joining him as a supporting act on his national tour. Batman introduced the trio to Leon Michaels and Danny Akalepse, who went on to sign them to Big Crown Records. Michaels would go on to produce their debut album, 2019's Buck.

"Glass House" is a song by American rapper Machine Gun Kelly. It features vocals from Naomi Wild and was released on July 5, 2019 via Bad Boy Records and Interscope Records.

The song was leaked in May 2019, with many of the song's featured vocals to be from either Halsey or Lana Del Rey. It was revealed that Lana's vocals was replaced by fellow singer Naomi Wild. The day before the album release, a 15 second preview of the song was uploaded on social media to promote the album. The song was released along with the album on July 5, 2019. Naomi Wild then went on social media and revealed how the collaboration took place: "We started glass house at Wynne's house, I wrote my parts there and the next day we found out Machine Gun Kelly had heard it and had already laid down verses. Two days later we met Colson at a glass house in the hills where he played us the track." The song is about mourning the death of Kelly's peers, namely Nipsey Hussle (in the first verse), Lil Peep and Linkin Park lead singer Chester Bennington (in the second verse). In the third verse, Kelly reflects on his personal life, namely his suicide attempt.

Armin van Buuren's new album 'BALANCE' is OUT NOW: https://ift.tt/2LpMapK

Armin van Buuren finally unleashes his new artist album ‘BALANCE’. As stated by Armin van Buuren, the album is about thinking in possibilities rather than definition, thinking about what music could be instead of what it should be. “Every song I make teaches me something new, and the next song is always a result of all my previous records, the new things I learned and the people I met”, the world-renowned DJ and producer says in the foreword of his album. “Over the years, this process - and especially the fun of creating - became more and more important to me. It’s a journey that gives me meaning and helps me learn more about my personal interests rather than focus on the recognition I get for the outcome. That’s the big difference between who I am today and who I was a few years ago. 'BALANCE' is a new chapter in my book of life, the result of venturing into known and unknown territories while finding the balance in between. This creative journey gives me the energy to do what I do, to keep going. I don’t want to think about what music should be. I want to think about what music could be."

A versatile, female-fronted metalcore unit based out of Ukraine, Jinjer have found success both in their Eastern European homeland and abroad with their punitive blend of post-hardcore and death/progressive/nu-metal. Drawing from a wide array of influences, including R&B, soul, hip-hop, and the full spectrum of heavy metal, the band formed in 2009 and features a lineup consisting of Tatiana Shmailyuk (vocals), Roman Ibramkhalilov (guitar), Eugene Abdiukhanov (bass), and Vladislav Ulasevich (drums). Jinjer issued a pair of EPs, 2009's OIMACTTA and 2012's Inhale, Do Not Breathe, before breaking big at home with the release of a full-length version of the latter album in 2013. The group's sophomore long-player, 2014's Cloud Factory, caught the attention of heavy metal institution Napalm, which signed Jinjer and released their third full-length effort, King of Everything, in 2016. The group toured heavily in support of the LP, hitting the European festival circuit and making their presence known overseas as well. In early 2019, the band returned with the Micro EP, again on Napalm.

Fluidly switching between tough rapping and yearning, sentimental crooning, GASHI delivers personal, introspective lyrics over hazy, atmospheric synths and trap beats.

Born Labinot Gashi in Libya to Albanian parents, he spent his childhood in several African and European countries before moving to Brooklyn in the late '90s. Rap music helped him learn English, and eventually he decided to pursue a career in music. After dropping out of college, he started working on a mixtape as the Kid Gashi. Later, he shortened it to just Gashi, and then modified the spelling to GASHI. Following the 2011 mixtape Last of a Rare Breed, he formed the group Moxy in 2012, in addition to releasing the single "Rocket." Mixtapes I'll Be Right with You (2013) and 4Play (2014) followed. GASHI's Stairs EP appeared on the Order Label in 2016. He also made two appearances on DJ Snake's Encore album, including "Oh Me Oh My," also featuring Migos and Travis Scott. GASHI's 2017 "Disrespectful" single ended up being his biggest hit so far, racking up millions of streams.

The following year, his singles included "Creep on Me," featuring French Montana and DJ Snake. He released several singles throughout 2019, including "My Year" with G-Eazy, "Roses," and "Safety," again featuring DJ Snake. GASHI's self-titled debut album arrived that September via RCA Records.
