A teenage dream for the 21st century, vocal harmony group Why Don't We comprise social media stars from across America. Jack Avery, Corbyn Besson, Zach Herron, Jonah Marais, and Daniel Seavey all came from different places in the U.S., but they each gained some measure of social media fame due to their posts on outlets like YouTube. The members first became acquainted on social media tours such as DigiTour and came together as a band in 2016. Their first single, "Taking You," appeared in October 2016, followed the next month by their debut EP, Only the Beginning. The group's first live shows happened in December 2016. Two more EPs appeared in 2017, Something Different and Invitation, followed at year's end by the holiday EP A Why Don't We Christmas. A pair of singles, "Trust Fund Baby" and "Hooked," appeared in the first half of 2018; their EP-length debut "album," 8 Letters, followed in August of that year, netting a Top Ten placement on the Billboard pop chart. Why Don't We kicked of 2019 with a smattering of singles including the Macklemore-assisted "I Don't Belong in This Club."

One of the Midwest's most enduring indie Americana outfits, Red Wanting Blue (often referred to by fans in the abbreviated RWB) formed at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, in 1995. Anchored by frontman Scott Terry, the band self-released their first album Velveteen in 1996. The Image Trigger followed two years later, and 2000's Model Citizen marked the first appearance of long-time bassist Mark McCullough.

In 2018, the band returned with their 11th full-length effort, the Will Hoge-produced The Wanting, which featured the single "Ulysses."

Weird and wild enough to be associated with Soulja Boy, Andy Milonakis, O.G. Ron C., and Diplo's Mad Decent crew, Houston rapper Riff Raff first came on the scene in 2009 as a contestant on MTV's From G's to Gents, a competitive reality series where hardcore ballers tried to become sophisticates. According to OutKast associate and the show's host Fonzworth Bentley, Riff Raff was "beyond" his help, but "crazy like a fox" was another way to think of it, as the rapper had the MTV logo tattooed on his neck, thus allowing him to use the network's name legally on his MTV Riff Raff mixtapes, his posts to video-sharing sites, and all his free tracks uploaded to social media. Thanks to Riff Raff mentioning his phone number in his songs, he was contacted by like-minded rapper Dirt Nasty, along with Andy Milonakis, for some collaborative tracks that landed beginning in 2010, and by 2011 he was signed to Soulja Boy's label and production house, S.O.D. Money Gang Inc. The relationship didn't last long, as Riff Raff signed with Diplo's Mad Decent label in 2012 and issued his Birth of an Icon mixtape. The tape featured early hits like "Jose Canseco" and "Jody Highroller," along with the Action Bronson team-up "Bird on a Wire." He also teamed up with Milonakis and Nasty in 2012 for the project and album Three Loco, while 2013 saw him partner with DollaBillGates for the album Jumpin Out the Gym. In 2014, he went back to his solo career with the Mad Decent release Neon Icon. The album featured the singles "How to Be the Man" and "Tip Toe Wing in My Jawwdinz," and in 2015 it was remixed by DJ O.G. Ron C. for the release Purple Icon: Chopped Not Slopped. Released by the MC's own label, Neon Nation, Peach Panther followed in 2016. The album featured the single "Carlos Slim," the Gucci Mane and Danny Brown collaboration "I Drive By," and plenty of beats from the Atlanta production crew 808 Mafia. Later that year, he and DJ Afterthought released the highly collaborative Balloween, which featured guest spots from Skepta, Quavo, DJ Paul, and many others. Maintaining his prolific run, Riff Raff followed up in early 2017 with the Aquaberry Aquarius mixtape and the full-length LP, The White West. A collaborative album with DJ Afterthought, Cool Blue Jewels, kicked off 2018, with Alcoholic Alligator following just a few months later.

Known for a uniquely fluid and melodic yet mumbling vocal style, rapper Future busted out of the South at the dawn of the 2010s with a flurry of mixtapes, high-charting albums, certified platinum singles, and contributions to several other hits as a featured artist. After he scored his first commercial hit via a guest spot on YC's "Racks" (2011), Future quickly became a key factor in Atlanta's grip on the Billboard charts, often with production support from fellow ATL natives and dwellers such as Metro Boomin, Mike WiLL Made-It, Sonny Digital, and Southside. By the end of 2017, Future had amassed 32 Top Ten R&B/hip-hop hits as a headliner and featured artist. Meanwhile, 11 full-length projects -- including an all-platinum run of DS2 (2015), Evol (2016), and Future (2017) -- debuted within the Top Five of the Billboard 200. In 2018, Future added to his Top 20 tally with the Grammy-winning "King's Dead," his contribution to the soundtrack for the blockbuster film Black Panther, and became such a force in the entertainment industry that he co-produced Superfly -- a remake of the blaxploitation classic Super Fly -- and curated its soundtrack.

Future kicked off 2019 with the release of his seventh album, The Wizrd, which became the rapper's fifth solo chart-topper (and sixth overall). The 20-song set featured appearances by Young Thug, Gunna, and Travis Scott. Less than a month after that album's release, Future won a Grammy for Best Rap Performance for his contribution to "King's Dead." Future returned later in 2019 with the seven-track SAVE ME, which added a darker, more pained approach to the rapper's typical formula.

This is her eighth project to be released and her first project since her departure from RCA Records in February 2019. The project features collaborations with Ms Banks, Makj, G-Eazy and 6lack.

In February 2019, Tinashe's manager announced she had parted ways with RCA Records, citing: "We initiated for her to be released. It was a positive split for her. I had to really open myself up. It’s the most vulnerable project I’ve ever put out".

The Symphony of Psalms is a three-movement choral symphony composed by Igor Stravinsky in 1930 during his neoclassical period. The work was commissioned by Serge Koussevitzky to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. The symphony derives its name from the use of Psalm texts in the choral parts.

According to Stravinsky, the commission for the work came about from "a routine suggestion" from Koussevitzky, who was also Stravinsky's publisher, that he write something "popular" for orchestra without chorus. Stravinsky, however, insisted on the psalm-symphony idea, which he had had in mind for some time. The choice of Psalm 150, however, was in part because of the popularity of that text. The symphony was written in Nice, and Echarvines near Talloires, which was Stravinsky's summer home in those years. The three movements are performed without break, and the texts sung by the chorus are drawn from the Vulgate versions in Latin. Unlike many pieces composed for chorus and orchestra, Stravinsky said that “it is not a symphony in which I have included Psalms to be sung. On the contrary, it is the singing of the Psalms that I am symphonizing.

Although the piece was written for the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the world premiere was actually given in Brussels by the Société Philharmonique de Bruxelles on December 13, 1930, under the direction of Ernest Ansermet. The American premiere of the piece was given soon afterwards by Koussevitzky and the Boston Symphony Orchestra, with the chorus of the Cecilia Society (trained by Arthur Fiedler) on December 19, 1930. The first recording was made by Stravinsky himself with the Orchestre des Concerts Straram and the Alexis Vlassay Choir at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris on February 17 and 18, 1931. "The choir, throaty, full-blooded, darkly, inwardly passionate, sing with liturgical conviction and intensity in a memorable performance."

The Pavane in F-sharp minor, Op. 50, is a pavane by the French composer Gabriel Fauré written in 1887. It was originally a piano piece, but is better known in Fauré's version for orchestra and optional chorus. Obtaining its rhythm from the slow processional Spanish court dance of the same name, the Pavane ebbs and flows from a series of harmonic and melodic climaxes, conjuring a haunting Belle Époque elegance. The piece is scored for only modest orchestral forces consisting of string instruments and one pair each of flutes, oboes, clarinets, bassoons, and horns. A typical performance lasts about six minutes.

The original version of the Pavane was written for piano and chorus in the late 1880s. The composer described it as "elegant, but not otherwise important." Fauré intended it to be played more briskly than it has generally come to be performed in its more familiar orchestral guise. The conductor Sir Adrian Boult heard Fauré play the piano version several times and noted that he took it at a tempo no slower than 100 quarter notes per minute. Boult commented that the composer's sprightly tempo emphasised that the Pavane was not a piece of German romanticism, and that the text later added was "clearly a piece of light-hearted chaffing between the dancers".

Fauré composed the orchestral version at Le Vésinet in the summer of 1887. He envisaged a purely orchestral composition, using modest forces, to be played at a series of light summer concerts conducted by Jules Danbé. After Fauré opted to dedicate the work to his patron, Elisabeth, comtesse Greffulhe, he felt compelled to stage a grander affair and at her recommendation he added an invisible chorus to accompany the orchestra (with additional allowance for dancers). The choral lyrics were based on some inconsequential verses, à la Verlaine, on the romantic helplessness of man, which had been contributed by the Countess's cousin, Robert de Montesquiou.

The orchestral version was first performed at a Concert Lamoureux under the baton of Charles Lamoureux on November 25, 1888. Three days later, the choral version was premiered at a concert of the Société Nationale de Musique. In 1891, the Countess finally helped Fauré produce the version with both dancers and chorus, in a "choreographic spectacle" designed to grace one of her garden parties in the Bois de Boulogne.

The Gloria by Francis Poulenc, FP 177, scored for soprano solo, large orchestra, and chorus, is a setting of the Gloria text from the mass ordinary. One of Poulenc's most celebrated works, it was commissioned by the Koussevitsky Foundation in honor of Sergei Koussevitzky and his wife Natalia, the namesakes of the foundation.

Gloria was premiered on 21 January 1961 in Boston, Massachusetts by the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Chorus Pro Musica under conductor Charles Münch with Adele Addison as soloist. The first recording (also in 1961), for EMI, was conducted by Georges Prêtre, under the supervision of the composer, with Rosanna Carteri as the soloist. Among later recordings of the music, the RCA Victor recording by the Robert Shaw Chorale in 1965 won a Grammy Award for the "Best Choral Performance."

"Crazy" is a ballad composed by Willie Nelson. It has been recorded by several artists, most notably by Patsy Cline, whose version was a No. 2 country hit in 1962.

Partly due to the genre-blending nature of the song, it has been covered by dozens of artists in several genres over the years; nevertheless, the song remains inextricably linked with Cline. Nelson's own version appears on his 1962 debut album ...And Then I Wrote.

Canadian singer Jessie Reyez released an R&B cover of the song on 15 November 2019.

A Juno-winning singer and songwriter whose unique take on pop, accented with R&B and hip-hop influences, is reinforced by a vocal style that merges the passionate with the stylishly theatrical, Jessie Reyez was born in Toronto, Canada on June 12, 1991 to Colombian parents. Reyez learned to play guitar as a child from her father, who had mastered the instrument. Before Reyez became serious about music, she was a committed dance student, and studied hip-hop dance from junior high into high school. However, after a traumatic breakup with her first serious boyfriend when she was 17, Jessie poured her heartache into her music -- her sympathetic music teacher allowed her to spend most of her school days at the piano. By the time she graduated, Reyez was writing songs that expressed her emotions, playing in Toronto clubs, and busking on the streets.

"Frail State of Mind" is a song by British pop rock band, The 1975. The song is the second single off of the band's forthcoming fourth studio album, Notes on a Conditional Form. The single was released on 24 October 2019.

In an interview with Zane Lowe of Beats 1 prior to the track's premiere, Matty Healy described the song about anxiety in general and said that we as a society are having a global anxiety attack. The song's lyrics focus on how humans deal with introverted behaviour, social situations, and modern day communication.

Trey Alston, writing for MTV said that "Frail State of Mind" is "what anxiety sounds like", describing the song as a pacy track with a "foggy whirl of thick drums". Alston further said that the song "sounds like a racket. Drums crawl around and constantly smash into each other as elastic synths unfurl and roll back up".

Chris DeVille of Stereogum described the song as a "soft-rock ballad that matches drizzly autumnal textures with a brisk programmed beat informed by Burial-style dubstep." DeVille further said that "Frail State of Mind"'s sound is "a tender, hyper-modern lullaby about depression."

Herman Mamo of Billboard called "Frail State of Mind" a "UK garage single [that] sounds sad in subject but feels consoling in context", and that the percussion feels like "pins and needles" in context.

Shot during summer and fall 2019, this elaborate music video showcases the striking universe of Wes Benscoter's art in conjunction with the concepts brought into play by Cattle Decapitation in stunning 4K glory. The video is the culmination of a fruitful 18 year long relationship between the band and the world renown artist and is the first ever music video of his vastly expansive career, which includes having worked with such metal mainstays as Slayer, Kreator, Dio, Nile, Autopsy, Broken Hope, among many others. Having worked with him for so many years and being admirers of his 2009 award-winning short film, "Hold Your Fire", the band was honored to take this next step with him and seize this opportunity to give the world something special: an emotionally captivating short film by one of the top masters of timeless metal art.

Cattle Decapitation's vocalist and art director Travis Ryan had this to say about this first-of-its-kind event: "When Wes told me he would be down to do a music video for us, my jaw dropped. Having a music video that is completely married to the album artwork and color palette was something I had always wanted to do but never thought it could be a reality. As you can see from our lyrics, there's not a lot of hope floating around, so when he offered up his creative hands for a music video, we snapped to it, and along the way, it became a much more formidable force by taking the form of a short film. This worked perfectly, considering the last 12 minutes of the album not only make up two tracks that become one long emotional journey with enough monolithic peaks and valleys to rival the Andes of Argentina to the Rockies of Colorado, but the tracks themselves scream for such a treatment. The scope of the video matches the scope of the album 'Death Atlas', which is meant to be listened to from beginning to the end in its entirety as is the video. Wes Benscoter has proven that he is a master of art, incorporating various mediums into one disastrously beautiful extinction-level art film."

Wes Benscoter comments: "I've never had any real interest in doing a music video until we started planning the photos for the album layout and I thought man, this could be a great oppurtunity to make the kind of film I like. Grim, atmospheric, and topical. Created with a mix of old-school practical effects, some digital tricks and a insane amount of sand and fog. I used every trick in the book to try to do justice to Cattle's apocalyptic nightmare soundtrack."

"Death Atlas" will purge the Earth on Black Friday, Nov. 29th, 2019 via Metal Blade Records.

Bankroll Freddie delivers stark, determined rhymes about possessing wealth, jewelry, and fashionable clothes, while being mindful of his small-town origins. The Arkansas-based rapper broke through on a national level with his 2019 single "Drip Like Dis."

Born in Helena, Arkansas, Freddie Gladney released a freestyle titled "Lil Baby" in 2017. The track caught the attention of Quality Control CEO Pierre Thomas, who reposted another one of his freestyles and invited him to Los Angeles. After Bankroll Freddie released his 2019 mixtape Saved by the Bales, Quality Control released a remix of his track "Drip Like Dis," featuring Young Dolph and Lil Baby.

One-third of the influential L.A. hip-hop group Dilated Peoples, Evidence was born Michael Taylor Perretta in Los Angeles, relocating from Santa Monica to Venice Beach with his mother when he was six, after his parents' divorce. Though Evidence was heavily into skating and graffiti while growing up, it wasn't until he was 12, when he moved next door to QDIII (Quincy Jones' son) and was able to see firsthand how beats were made and what it took to be a top-quality producer, that he began to be more interested in seriously pursuing music. He hooked up with MC Rakaa in 1992, and the duo released a few singles as Dilated Peoples (their first beats courtesy of QDIII) before adding DJ Babu in 1998. The group issued four albums (The Platform, Expansion Team, Neighborhood Watch, 20/20) on Capitol before splitting from the label in 2006 and joining ABB. It was to that same label that Evidence turned for his solo album. Titled The Weatherman (a nickname a fan had given him early in his career), the record -- something he had wanted to make since 2001 but had been unable to because of the contract with Capitol -- was released in March 2007, and featured production from Evidence himself, Jake One, the Alchemist, and Babu, among others. The debut was followed months later by Red Tape Instrumentals, his second album of beats following 2004's Yellow Tape Instrumentals. Purple Tape Instrumentals arrived the next year alongside The Layover EP and mixtape. At the end of 2011, he returned with another full-length album, Cats & Dogs, his first with Rhymesayers. The set featured guests like Aloe Blacc, Raekwon, Slug, and Prodigy, along with production from the Alchemist, DJ Premier, DJ Babu, and others. It became his first solo effort to chart on the Billboard 200, landing inside the Top 100. Another set of beats, Green Tape Instrumentals, was issued in 2013. The next year he continued his longtime partnership with Alchemist, creating the duo Step Brothers for the release of Lord Steppington (also released on Rhymesayers). Months later, Evidence returned to Dilated Peoples for another album, Directors of Photography. Evidence spent the next few years producing for other acts like Madchild, Reks, and Tha God Fahim, as well as collaborating with Cookbook on A Whole New Cook. In early 2018, he released his third solo album, Weather or Not, which featured production by Alchemist, DJ Premier, DJ Babu, and more, as well as guests like Slug, Styles P, Rapsody, Jonwayne, and Rakaa from Dilated Peoples.
