Description :

Todd Anthony Shaw (born April 28, 1966), better known by the stage name Too Short (stylized as Too $hort), is an American rapper, record producer, and actor. He is best known for his hit songs, such as "The Ghetto" and "Blow the Whistle".

Too Short is credited as being one of the pioneer rappers of West Coast hip hop. He first began recording in 1983, becoming one of Oakland's better known underground emcees, and from 1985 onwards released albums and singles on Oakland label 75 Girls Records And Tapes before he signed a major record deal with Jive Records in 1987, releasing his mainstream debut album Born to Mack. He experienced his first widespread success with his 1989 follow-up album Life Is...Too Short, and remained one of the most popular rappers into the 1990s. His rap lyrics are primarily about pimping, drug use, surviving, and promiscuity.

Genre : Pop
Description : Laura Branigan - Moonlight on Water (Official Music Video)

You're watching the official music video for Laura Branigan - "Moonlight on Water" from the album 'Laura Branigan' (1990). This is a cover of Kevin Raleigh's "Moonlight on Water".

"Moonlight on Water", also known as "Moonlight on Water (Sex on the Beach)", is a popular song written and composed by Steve Kipner, best known for writing Olivia Newton-John's "Physical", and Andy Goldmark. The song was originally recorded by Kevin Raleigh for his 1989 album Delusions of Grandeur and was released as a single. It reached #60 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 singles chart on 24 June 1989.

The song was covered by Laura Branigan and was the first single taken from the self-titled album that she released in 1990. However, it was only a minor hit in the United States (reaching #59, one spot higher than Kevin Raleigh's version), where a sexy music video for the song received little airplay. Branigan can be seen performing the song on her second videocassette and laserdisc concert release, Laura Branigan in Concert, which was filmed in 1990 at a tour stop in Atlantic City and initially televised as part of the syndicated TV series SRO: In Concert.

Description : The Human League - Don't You Want Me • TopPop

The Human League are an English electropop/synth-pop band formed in Sheffield in 1977. Initially an experimental electronic outfit, the group signed to Virgin Records in 1979 and later attained widespread commercial success with their third album Dare in 1981. The album contained four hit singles, including the UK/US number one hit "Don't You Want Me." The band received the Brit Award for Best British Breakthrough Act in 1982. Further hits followed throughout the 1980s and into the 1990s, including "Mirror Man," "(Keep Feeling) Fascination," "The Lebanon," "Human" (a US No. 1) and "Tell Me When."
The only constant band member since 1977 has been lead singer and songwriter Philip Oakey. Keyboard players Martyn Ware and Ian Craig Marsh both left the band in 1980 to form Heaven 17. Under Oakey's leadership, the Human League then evolved into a commercially successful New Pop band with a new line-up including female vocalists Joanne Catherall and Susan Ann Sulley. Since the mid-1990s, the band has essentially been a trio of Oakey, Catherall and Sulley with various sidemen.

This single 'Don't You Want Me' reached #5 in the Dutch Top 40 on 30 January 1982.

This is a slightly different version from the one that is already on the Toppop Channel

Jimmy Smith wasn't the first organ player in jazz, but no one had a greater influence with the instrument than he did; Smith coaxed a rich, grooving tone from the Hammond B-3, and his sound and style made him a top instrumentalist in the 1950s and '60s, while a number of rock and R&B keyboardists would learn valuable lessons from Smith's example.

Florida rapper Yungeen Ace moved from one struggle to the next as his difficult childhood led into a tumultuous young life in music. One of 12 brothers, he had a surprisingly isolated upbringing and turned to music and street life in his teenage years. He began releasing his solo tracks online in March of 2018, and after only a few months of his pained, tumultuous songs building a buzz, he was involved in a drive-by shooting that took the lives of his brother and two friends. He released his debut mixtape, Life of Betrayal, in the wake of this tragedy.

Born Keyanta Bullard in 1998, Yungeen Ace spent his early years in Chicago but relocated with his family to Florida in early childhood. Living in Jacksonville, Bullard experienced daily struggles with abject poverty and a desperate environment, surrounded by danger and street crime as he entered his teenage years. He began writing and recording solo tracks, releasing his debut single, "No Witness," in March of 2018. Several other singles would follow, but these bright beginnings were darkened in June of that year when Yungeen Ace and several friends were attacked in a drive-by shooting in Jacksonville when leaving dinner. He survived multiple gunshot wounds but would be the only person to make it out of the altercation alive in a group that included his brother Trevon Bullard, and friends Royale Smith, Jr. and Jercoby Groover.

Immediately following the shooting, legal troubles put the rapper under house arrest, and his debut mixtape, Life of Betrayal, arrived in August, with Life I'm Livin' arriving later that year. The first collection included newer songs inspired by his tragic losses; the standout track, "Wanted," featured a cameo from YoungBoy Never Broke Again; and earlier singles like the JayDaYoungan collaboration "Jungle." He teamed up with Boosie Badazz, Lil Durk, and others in 2019 for the 16-track Step Harder.

"Everyday Life" is a song by British rock band Coldplay from their eighth studio album Everyday Life. It was released as a single on 3 November 2019, and appears on the second side of the album Sunset. The song was written by the band members and produced by The Dream Team.

Rob Arcand of Spin magazine called the song a return to form, stating that "[i]t's a heartfelt return to the kind of lush balladry that the band built their reputation on, with gorgeous production and performance elements lending weight to the kind of broad, arena-rock universalisms present in the lyrics."

Memphis rapper NLE Choppa rose to fame almost overnight on the back of a viral hit and a charismatic social media presence. At just 16, the rapper was fielding record deal offers from major labels, sometimes with advances in the millions. Ever the entrepreneur, NLE Choppa turned down the contracts, opting instead for a distribution deal that allowed him to keep the rights to his music. With just a few punchy tracks to his name, the young rapper was already world famous by early 2019, with streaming numbers in the millions.

NLE Choppa was born Bryson Potts in 2002. Raised in a rough part of Memphis, Potts focused on basketball when growing up but began freestyling with friends at age 14. The next year he decided to take his music to the next level, entering the studio and putting down raps inspired by Southern rappers like NBA Youngboy, Meek Mill, and Lil Wayne. He first went under the name YNR Choppa and released several tracks under that moniker. He soon switched over to using the name NLE Choppa, the NLE standing for his brand "No Love Entertainment." Along with other teenage rapper friends he posted several videos, some gaining traction regionally. It was his January 2019 single, "Shotta Flow," that broke through worldwide, with an exciting and boisterous video accumulating tens of millions of views in a matter of months. From there, major-label interest began, but Choppa turned all offers down, keeping ownership of his songs. He spent the next several months steadily releasing new singles, including installments like "I Don't Need No Help," "Shotta Flow 2," and "Birdboy."

Adam Grahn - vocals, guitar
Hannes Irengård - guitar, backing vocals
Jonas Almén - bass, keyboards, guitar, backing vocals
Per Andreasson - drums, backing vocals

Swedish rock band Royal Republic hail from Malmö and were formed in late 2007 by Adam Grahn (lead vocals/guitar), Hannes Irengård (guitar), Jonas Almén (bass), and Per Andreasson (drums), who play an energetic, rock & roll-inspired garage rock in the vein of Mando Diao and the Hives. The first three singles of their 2010 debut album, We Are the Royal, made it to number one on the "most wanted" list of Swedish radio station Bandit Rock, while their single "Tommy-Gun" also reached number one on the MTV Rock charts. Their 2012 follow-up, Save the Nation, was even more successful, charting at number 24 in Sweden and at number 14 in Germany. The band toured throughout Europe and Australia and played at the huge Rock am Ring and Rock im Park festivals. For the 2014 compilation Royal Republic & the Nosebreakers, they re-recorded some of their early tracks in an acoustic-country vein. They returned to a rock sound for 2016's Weekend Man, but let some of their country influences bleed through. 2019's Club Majesty was an '80s pastiche, complete with a glammed-up, VHS-shot music video for lead single "Anna-Leigh." Both albums hit the German Top 20.

Deborah Ann Gibson (born August 31, 1970) is an American singer-songwriter, record producer and actress. Gibson released her debut album Out of the Blue in 1987, which spawned several international hits, later being certified triple Platinum by the RIAA. One of those singles, "Foolish Beat", made Gibson the youngest female artist to write, produce and perform a Billboard Hot 100 number-one single. Her double-platinum second album Electric Youth (1989), gave Gibson another U.S. number-one hit with "Lost in Your Eyes". Gibson is the sole songwriter on all of her singles to reach the Top 20 of the Hot 100 charts. She was recognized by ASCAP as Songwriter of the Year, along with Bruce Springsteen, in 1989. She continued to record and release music throughout the 1990s and 2000s. In 2006, Gibson reached No. 24 on the U.S. adult contemporary chart with "Say Goodbye", a duet with Jordan Knight and in 2017 achieved her highest-charting hit in more than 25 years in her duet with Sir Ivan, "I Am Peaceman".

In addition to music, she has gone on to starring roles on Broadway and touring musicals, including playing Eponine in Les Misérables and Sandy in Grease, as well as television and independent film work.

Multifaceted British EDM producer Jon Gooch developed his Feed Me moniker in the late 2000s as a vehicle for his dubstep/electro-house hybrid tracks. Working with Deadmau5's Mau5trap imprint, Gooch's tracks of wobbly bass and scattershot drum programming evolved over a nonstop stream of singles, remixes for big-name artists like Robyn, and studio albums like 2013's Calamari Tuesday.

Born in Hertfordshire, England, in 1984, Jon Gooch first made a name for himself under the alias Spor, crafting hard-edged drum'n'bass tracks. In 2008, he debuted the Feed Me moniker and a more dubstep-leaning sound on his first track, "The Spell." Still active as Spor (and a handful of other aliases), Gooch's work as Feed Me was largely released on the Deadmau5-run label Mau5trap. His first full-length album, Feed Me's Big Adventure, materialized in 2010, and new tracks came at a steady clip in the form of new singles or EP releases like 2011's To the Stars and 2012's Escape from Electric Mountain. He also increased his profile by remixing the likes of Chase & Status ("Let You Go"), Nero ("Innocence"), Gorillaz ("On Melancholy Hill"), and Robyn ("Call Your Girlfriend").

Calamari Tuesday, his second album, was released in 2013 via Gooch's own Sotto Voce imprint. Over the next four years, he averaged a new EP each year beginning with Feed Me's Psychedelic Journey (2014), followed by A Giant Warrior Descends on Tokyo (2015), Feed Me's Family Reunion (2016), and Feed Me's Existential Crisis (2017). He also collaborated with American producer Kill the Noise on the 2014 single "Far Away." In 2019, third full-length High Street Creeps arrived, this time back on Mau5trap. By this time, Gooch's style had developed from the dubstep trendiness of his earliest work into more varied and quick-changing compositions that included nods to his drum'n'bass background.
