Totally Fuzzy is the name, music discovery is the game.
(Click to read if you're new here...)

Welcome to Totally Fuzzy, once your guide to the music blogosphere, now fully converted into an indie/rock/pop/metal/anything really - music blog, loaded with official and legal full album streams. Because music is something to listen to, and not something to talk or read about, we have chosen this approach, carving out our own little niche in the music blogosphere.

And we're still running our Class A Music Video site a.k.a. The Fuzzy Tube, with well over 100.000 hand picked High Quality music videos.

Description : Lawrence Arabia: NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert From The Archives

We've been filming Tiny Desk concerts for more than 10 years. While revisiting our archives, we discovered that some of our earliest concerts never made it to YouTube!

If you look carefully over the shoulder of Lawrence Arabia's guitarist, you'll see the cover art to The Beatles' Abbey Road etched onto a coaster. And, though the coaster placement was random, it turned out to be apropos. After all, Lawrence Arabia, led by singer James Milne, crafts harmony parts that would have felt right at home in 1969.

Milne is from New Zealand, and his second album with Lawrence Arabia is titled Chant Darling. That record was recorded in three different countries: Milne started in Sweden by laying down drums and basic tracks at a friend's studio, and then more work was recorded in bedrooms and living rooms in London before the band returned to New Zealand for finishing touches from friends.

Lawrence Arabia's witty songs are good for more than just singing along: They provide a few chuckles, too. That comes through in the four tracks from Chant Darling that turn up in this Tiny Desk Concert at the NPR Music offices.

Set List:
"I've Smoked Too Much"
"The Beautiful Young Crew"
"Apple Pie Bed"
"Like A Fool"

Lawrence Arabia -- the pseudonym of James Milne -- is a connoisseur of classic songwriting, creating timeless music inspired as much by 1970's West Coast Americana as the indie pop of New Zealand's Flying Nun Records. Born in Christchurch, New Zealand in 1981, Milne moved to Auckland in 2002, where he first joined indie pop outfit the Brunettes. In 2004 fellow Brunettes member Ryan McPhun formed the Ruby Suns and recruited Milne as part of his ever-evolving lineup. Taking on bass duties in both bands and completing tours of the U.S. with the Brunettes, Milne returned to New Zealand and gathered together local musicians Jolyon Mulholland, Benjamin Luke Eldridge, and old friend Ryan McPhun to create what would become the Reduction Agents.
