Formerly known as Lil Herb, G Herbo relates his experiences in coarsely grained, urgent, and often pained form as one of Chicago's noted drill artists. He represents his city's South Shore neighborhood -- more specifically, an area nicknamed Terror Town. He debuted with Welcome to Fazoland in 2014, later rising on the Billboard 200 with 2017's Humble Beast and 2018's Swervo.

Active since the early 2010s, the rapper, born Herbert Wright III, appeared on a pair of tracks off Free Crack, a release by close associate Lil Bibby, in 2013. The next year, Common, Young Chop, and Earl Sweatshirt sought him out for verses, and he also issued his first two mixtapes: Welcome to Fazoland and Pistol P Project. Wright subsequently signed with Cinematic Music Group and made his debut there in 2015 with a mixtape, Ballin Like I'm Kobe, titled in tribute to a friend who had been murdered two years prior. The following year, Wright appeared on the Lil Yachty track "Up Next 3." In 2017, he delivered his full-length studio album, Humble Beast, featuring the singles "Red Snow," "I Like," and "Everything." The album peaked just outside the Top 20 of the Billboard 200. A deluxe edition of the album arrived a year later, featuring fellow Chicago emcee Chance the Rapper on "Everything (Remix)." In 2018, he joined with Atlanta trap producer Southside for the collaborative effort Swervo (Epic Records), which featured appearances by Young Thug, 21 Savage, Chief Keef, and others, debuting at number 15 on the Billboard 200 upon release. 2019 was bookended by sophomore LP Still Swervin, which debuted just outside the Top 40 that February, and December's Sessions.

Swedish hard rock band H.E.A.T made their album debut in 2008 yet didn't break into the mainstream until the following year, after a strong showing at the 2009 Melodifestivalen with the smash hit "1000 Miles." Founded in 2007 in Upplands Väsby, the band initially consisted of Kenny Leckremo (vocals), Dave Dalone (guitar), Eric Rivers (guitar), Jona Tee (keyboards), Jimmy Jay (bass), and Crash (drums). After signing a recording deal with the label StormVox, the band made its full-length debut in 2008 with the eponymous album H.E.A.T. The band's strong showing in Melodifestivalen drove H.E.A.T up the albums chart, all the way to the Top Ten with "1000 Miles" in the Top Five. Their 2010 follow-up, Freedom Rock, received a ranking by Classic Rock Magazine U.K. as one of the Top 50 albums of the year. It would also turn out to be the last for Leckremo, who was soon replaced by Erik Grönwall on lead vocals. Grönwall made his debut on 2012's Address the Nation, which again fared well with critics, making the Top Ten lists of several magazines. By 2014, founding guitarist Dalone had also left the group, and the remaining bandmembers delivered Tearing Down the Walls, further honing their hard-edged, melodic rock sound. To document their 2014 headlining tour of Europe, H.E.A.T recorded a set at The Garage in London, leading to the release of their first concert album, Live in London, in early 2015. Following Rivers' departure in October 2016, former guitarist Dave Dalone returned to H.E.A.T to help them record 2017's Into the Great Unknown.

Russ - "Shake The Snow Globe (Album Stream)" [Hip-Hop, Album Streams]

Shake The Snow Globe (Album Stream)

"Shake The Snow Globe (Album Stream)" music video by Russ
Added: 31-01-2020
Genre : Hip-Hop, Album Streams
Description :

During the 2010s, Russ Vitale -- a rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer -- emerged from the Atlanta-area underground with dozens of independent singles and albums, all of which were made freely available as downloads.

Inspired by 50 Cent and Eminem, as well as the classic rock he absorbed as a youngster, the New Jersey-born Vitale gradually learned to play several instruments, including guitar, which was taught to him by his father. After a short period of enrollment at Kennesaw State, Vitale established Diemon, a collective and label. His prolific output switched between swaggering modern hip-hop anthems and woozy R&B-oriented ballads, with relaxed melodic hooks the common element in both modes. He gradually gained a significant following through word of mouth and exposure from alternative weeklies and major rap publications. In 2015 and 2016, his career really picked up with cuts like "Losin Control," "What They Want," and "Pull the Trigger," which were among his most popular recordings to that point.

Russ signed to Columbia Records in 2017 and released his major-label debut, There's Really a Wolf. The album featured the aforementioned singles and debuted in the Top Ten of the Billboard 200. It was later certified platinum. As the year progressed, Vitale continued to release singles, including "Prosper," "Maybe," and "Lean on You." He continued his singles series into 2018, leading up to the release of his second full-length, Zoo. Featuring guest appearances from Rick Ross and Snoop Dogg, the album reached the Top Five of the Billboard 200. Later that year, he issued a trio of Zoo-session tracks as an EP titled Just in Case. He continued into 2019 with the single "Aint Goin Back."

Scoring her first hit at age 20 with "All About That Bass," a dance-friendly paean to body positivity, singer/songwriter Meghan Trainor topped the charts with a retro-pop sound that won her a Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 2016.

Up until that point, she had already devoted most of her life to music. Born in December 1993, Trainor was raised on Nantucket Island in Massachusetts, where she began making music when she was seven and wrote her first song at the age of 11. She attended Nauset High School on Cape Cod; there she sang and played trumpet in the jazz band, and also studied guitar, taking lessons from Johnny Spampinato, noted guitarist with NRBQ and the Incredible Casuals. In addition, Trainor played guitar and keyboards, and sang with a local Nantucket band called Island Fusion for four years. She attended the Berklee College of Music's Performance Program, a special five-week course, in 2009 and 2010, receiving high marks and reaching the finals of their songwriting competition. By the time she was 18, Trainor had self-released three albums of her own material and landed a publishing deal with Big Yellow Dog Music (which placed her songs with artists such as Rascal Flatts, Macy Kate, Common Kings, and Sabrina Carpenter) before she signed a deal with Epic Records.

American duo Sofi Tukker (Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern) craft throbbing, '90s house-inspired jungle pop that resulted in a Grammy nomination their first song, 2016's "Drinkee." They made their full-length debut in 2018 with Treehouse, which was also nominated for a Grammy.

Hawley-Weld and Halpern met in Providence, Rhode Island, while attending Brown University. Soon after, the solo artists joined forces and composed their first song, "Drinkee," which became an international hit. The track featured lyrics adapted from a Brazilian poem and was sung in Portuguese (which Hawley-Weld studied in college), adding to its global appeal. Streamed tens of millions of times and charting in multiple countries, the song went on to receive a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording. "Drinkee" appeared on the pair's 2016 debut EP, Soft Animals.
The following year, Sofi Tukker issued the collaborative single "Best Friend" featuring Nervo, the Knocks, and Japanese vocalist Alisa Ueno. The track gained traction after appearing in a smartphone commercial and topped dance charts in places like Belgium and the Netherlands while cracking the Billboard Hot 100. They followed with the French-charting singles "That's It (I'm Crazy)" and "Batshit," the latter of which appeared on their debut LP, 2018's Treehouse. The Ultra Records release hit the album chart in Canada as well as peaking at number 14 on Billboard's Independent Albums chart. Collaborations with Pabllo Vittar ("Energia [Parte 2]") and the Knocks ("Brazilian Soul") followed later that year, as did the ZHU-assisted "Mi Rumba" in early 2019. In the meantime, Treehouse was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album.

Best known as the drummer for pop-punk mainstays blink-182, Travis Barker expanded his reach over the decades with bands such as the Suicide Machines, the Aquabats, Transplants, +44, Box Car Racer, Goldfinger, and more. The prolific producer/songwriter is also known for his collaborative output, contributing his crisp, athletic drum frenzies on multiple tracks with artists such as Yelawolf, $uicideboy$, Vic Mensa, 03 Greedo, XXXTentacion, and Lil Nas X. Across genres, his trademark sound also landed on songs from the worlds of electronic (Krewella, Steve Aoki, Datsik) and pop (Skylar Grey, P!nk, Avril Lavigne). In 2011, in the aftermath of a life-changing plane crash and painful recovery, Barker issued his solo debut, Give the Drummer Some, which featured over two-dozen guests and peaked in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200. Into the 2010s, his output remained steadier than ever, balanced between his time with blink and numerous, cross-genre collaborations.

Chicago rapper King Von got into his city's drill scene after his fluid storytelling style caught the ear of more-established rapper Lil Durk. Durk signed King Von to his Only the Family label and released his viral 2018 single "Crazy Story," which was included on his debut, Grandson, Vol. 1.

King Von was born Dayvon Bennett on Chicago's South Side and raised in the crime-ridden O Block neighborhood. By his teen years, Bennett had turned to crime himself and would spend years in and out of jail before he began rapping in 2018. After hearing some of his early tracks, Lil Durk took an interest in King Von and welcomed him into the Only the Family collective. His early single "Problems" gained some traction, but it was the captivating narrative of a robbery-turned-shootout on "Crazy Story" that broke through to a larger audience. A video for the song released in late 2018 was streamed over 20 million times. This put King Von on the map and he followed it with the single "Cousins" featuring JusBlow600 in March of the next year. To further his rising career, he relocated from Chicago to Atlanta. His debut effort, Grandson, Vol. 1, landed that September. Featuring Lil Durk on a pair of tracks, the set debuted at 75 on the Billboard 200.

Signed to Slip-N-Slide in 2004 after recording his first track, "Tell Dem Krackers Dat," the Ft. Myers, Florida-based Plies built anticipation for his official debut album with a couple mixtape releases, along with an appearance on Trina's "So Fresh." He found some trouble when, during a performance at a Gainesville nightclub on July 2, 2006, an argument about set length escalated into gunfire. Two members of his entourage were convicted of attempted murder, while Plies and a third associate were charged with illegal possession of concealed weapons. Originally a featured MC on Akon's "I Wanna Love You," Plies was replaced by Snoop Dogg, quite possibly due to the altercation. His debut album, The Real Testament, which featured the single "Shawty," was released in August 2007. The year 2008 saw the arrival of two new albums, with Definition of Real dropping in June and Da Realist following in December. A year later the December release of the single "Medicine," featuring Keri Hilson, announced the coming of the rapper's next LP, Goon Affiliated. Released by Atlantic in March 2010, Goon Affiliated topped Billboard's rap chart and reached number five on the Top 200. Over the next several years, Plies delivered a steady stream of mixtapes, including You Need People Like Me, Pts. 1-2, I Fuck with the DJ, Aristotle, and Da Last Real Nigga Left, Pts. 1-2, all the while teasing singles from his long-expected fifth album, Purple Heart, which he first announced in 2011, but was still unreleased as of 2017. Meanwhile, the mixtapes kept coming, with 2015's Ain't No Mixtape BIH and its inevitable sequel, Ain't No Mixtape BIH 2, later that year. Plies also continued to find success with singles like 2016's "Ran Off on da Plug Twice," "Rich N*gga Shit," and "Racks Up to My Ear" with Young Dolph. Ain't No Mixtape Bih 3 landed at the close of 2017.

Australian singer/songwriter Ry Cuming -- better known as Ry X -- found commercial success with his sparse, atmospheric single "Berlin," which was used on a European advertising campaign for Sony TVs in 2013. Born in the coastal town of Angourie, New South Wales, Cuming grew up listening to the likes of Pearl Jam and Jeff Buckley, and their influence can be heard in his distinct, ethereal vocal delivery. In 2010 he relocated to L.A. to pursue his music career and was eventually rewarded when he was noticed by Jive Records, which released his self-titled debut as Ry Cuming later that year. He went on to tour with pop/rock heavyweights Maroon 5 and enjoyed moderate success, while he also worked with pop star Sara Bareilles on album track "Always Remember Me." Following a quiet period, Cuming re-emerged in 2013 with an EP entitled Berlin under the moniker Ry X after signing to Stockholm-based label Dumont Dumont. The reverb-heavy guitar sound found on his EP is a step away from the acoustic strums and rockier edge of his previous work and evoked comparisons to Fleet Foxes and José Gonzalez. The lead single, "Berlin," charted in the U.K. Top 40 following Sony's European advertising campaign. After touring extensively as the vocalist for electronic act the Acid, Ry X settled into his studio to work on his debut solo album Dawn, which saw release in 2016. The following year, Cuming got to work on his sophomore LP. Unfurl arrived in late 2018.

An indie trio from Sydney, Australia and throwback to the Manchester scene of the early '90s, DMA's formed in 2012 when Johnny Took and Tommy O'Dell -- members of the local rock band Underlights -- started writing songs with guitarist Matt Mason. Working together as three songwriters, the trio quickly developed a sound that drew from early-'90s Mancunian indie rock, with particular likenesses to some of the scene's greats like Oasis, Primal Scream, and Happy Mondays. DMA's quickly signed to the tiny label I Oh You on the strength of their home-recorded demos, and before long their debut single, "Delete," climbed the charts and garnered praise from the press, musical peers, and a growing fan base. Their self-titled debut EP surfaced in the summer of 2014, and in early 2016 they dropped their debut full-length, Hills End. Late 2017 and early 2018 saw the release of the singles "Dawning," "In the Air," and "For Now" ahead of the arrival of their sophomore full-length effort, also titled For Now, later that April. 2019 saw the release of their first live album, MTV Unplugged Live, which captured one of the group's sets at the Melbourne Memo Music Hall in 2018.

Bringing Chicago gangsta rap back to a raw and minimal style, MC 600Breezy exploded on the scene with a gruff voice and gang-praising lyrics. A member of the 600 set of the Black Disciples Nation, the Chicago native first hit in 2014 when he uploaded his solo track "Don't Get Smoked". A year later he joined fellow gang member Young Famous for the anthem "600 on Top," then that same year he hit solo with "Do Sum". In 2016, the track had topped over three-million views and found a home on the MC's release George Gervin. The mixtape included a guest appearance from veteran rapper OJ da Juiceman.

Playing a raw, powerful blend of blues and hip-hop, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist ZZ Ward was born Zsuzsanna Eva Ward in Abington, Pennsylvania on June 2, 1986. Ward spent her childhood in the small town of Roseburg, Oregon, splitting her listening time between her father's blues collection and her brother's hip-hop records, a blend that would inform her later sound and style. She was singing in her father's blues band by the time she was 12, and by 16 she was performing with R&B and hip-hop acts in Eugene. Moving to L.A. and hoping to break into the West Coast music business, Ward's unique blend of blues, rock, hip-hop, R&B, and neo-soul, as well as her multi-instrumental skills (she's proficient on guitar, piano, and harmonica), brought her a recording deal with Boardwalk Entertainment Group and Hollywood Records, and she began work on a debut album. A free mixtape, Eleven Roses, with Ward's interpretations of contemporaneous tracks by other artists, appeared in February of 2012, with an EP, Criminal, following in May. Til the Casket Drops, the completed album, showed up in October that same year. A track from the album, "Put the Gun Down," rose to number 39 on the Alternative Rock charts, while two other tunes, "Last Love Song" and "365 Days," cracked the Top 30 of the Adult Alternative charts. In 2015, Ward released the four-song EP Love and War, which was intended as a teaser for a 2016 album called This Means War, but the full-length never appeared. Instead, she worked throughout 2016 on the album that became 2017's The Storm. Preceded by the singles "The Deep" (featuring Joey Purp) and "Help Me, Mama," The Storm arrived in June 2017.
