Description : REPOST

Pretenders - Brass In Pocket (Official Music Video)

Official music video for 'Brass in Pocket' by The Pretenders. It was written by Chrissie Hynde and James Honeyman-Scott, and produced by Chris Thomas, released in 1979. It features on the debut album ‘Pretenders’, released on 7 January, 1980.

The band's third single was scored number one on the UK Singles Chart for two weeks in January 1980 (making it the first new number-one single of the 1980s) and number 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States.

Hynde got the idea for the song's title when, during an after-show dinner, she overheard someone enquiring if anyone had, "Picked up dry cleaning? Any brass in pocket?"

Robin Gibb - "Saved By The Bell (alt.)" [Pop]

Saved By The Bell (alt.)

"Saved By The Bell (alt.)" music video by Robin Gibb
Added: 28-04-2020
Genre : Pop
Description : Robin Gibb - Saved By The Bell (RARE)

Robin Hugh Gibb CBE (22 December 1949 – 20 May 2012) was a British singer, songwriter and record producer, who gained worldwide fame as a member of the pop group the Bee Gees. Their younger brother Andy was also a singer. Robin Gibb also had his own successful solo career.

"Saved by the Bell" is a 1969 single written and recorded by Robin Gibb. It was released in June 1969 and has been certified gold. It was the lead single on Gibb's debut album Robin's Reign, released in early 1970. According to Vinyl Records, the song was co-produced by Kenny Clayton. Gibb also made a promotional video for this song. The song gained commercial success in Europe, but was a commercial failure in the US.

Music critic Nicholas James says: "'Saved by the Bell' falls into this category, being heavily influenced by the Bee Gees track 'I Started a Joke'. It has a powerful Robin Gibb lead vocal and an infectious melody, although the lyrics are somewhat simplistic (possibly even banal)." David Furgess described "Saved by the Bell" as a "killer song".

Formerly known as Lil Herb, G Herbo relates his experiences in coarsely grained, urgent, and often pained form as one of Chicago's noted drill artists. He represents his city's South Shore neighborhood -- more specifically, an area nicknamed Terror Town. He debuted with Welcome to Fazoland in 2014, later rising on the Billboard 200 with 2017's Humble Beast and 2018's Swervo.

In 2018, G Herbo joined with Atlanta trap producer Southside for the collaborative effort Swervo (Epic Records), which featured appearances by Young Thug, 21 Savage, Chief Keef, and others, debuting at number 15 on the Billboard 200 upon release. 2019 was bookended by third LP Still Swervin, which debuted just outside the Top 40 that February, and December's Sessions. In February 2020, Herbo released his fourth studio album, PTSD. The star-studded project featured cameos from Lil Uzi Vert, Polo G, Juice WRLD, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, and many others and peaked at number seven on Billboard's Top 200 chart. Herbo said much of the album's content came out of therapy sessions he underwent trying to sort through his troubled upbringing.

Fine Young Cannibals were a British rock music band formed in Birmingham, England, in 1984, by bassist David Steele, guitarist Andy Cox (both formerly of The Beat), and singer Roland Gift (formerly of the Akrylykz). Their self-titled 1985 debut album contained "Johnny Come Home" and a cover of "Suspicious Minds", two songs that were top 40 hits in the UK, Canada, Australia and many European countries. Their 1989 album, The Raw & the Cooked, topped the UK and US album charts, and contained their two Billboard Hot 100 number ones: "She Drives Me Crazy" and "Good Thing".

In 1990 the band won two Brit Awards: Best British Group, and Best British Album (for The Raw & the Cooked). Their name came from the 1960 film All the Fine Young Cannibals starring Robert Wagner and Natalie Wood.

A Switzerland-based hard rock act formed in 1997, Shakra went through a number of lineup changes (including a vocalist change when the bands' momentum was just gaining attention) but managed to persevere and keep going for over two decades. Their first album, 1998's Shakra, and its follow-up, 1999's Moving Force, were strong enough to earn them support slots touring with bands like Great White and Uriah Heep. Real progress was being made with their third album, Power Ride (2001), but unfortunately a health situation forced the departure of vocalist Pete Wiedmer. Mark Fox stepped in to fill the frontman role, and the band recorded and released Rising in 2003. The band was a hit on German and Swiss charts, and toured extensively in support of their work. After many live shows and tours with Hammerfall and Stratovarius, Shakra released Infected in 2007, followed by Everest in 2009, and Back on Track in 2011. Powerplay arrived in 2013, with High Noon and Snakes & Ladders dropping in 2016 and 2017, respectively.

Minnesota outfit Remo Drive merges indie rock with emo-punk in a raw D.I.Y. fashion inspired by bands like Weezer, Vampire Weekend, the Police, and Title Fight. Early on, they were associated with the 2010s "emo revival," issuing their debut Greatest Hits in 2017. Two years later they returned, polishing some of the edges with Natural, Everyday Degradation.
The Bloomington-based group was formed in late 2013 by brothers Erik (vocals/guitar) and Stephen Paulson (bass), who later recruited Sam Mathys as drummer and Zack Cummings as a touring guitarist. They first issued Demos 2014 before releasing EPs Stay Out Longer (2014) and Wait for the Sun (2015). Their official debut LP, Greatest Hits (Epitaph), arrived in 2017. The home-recorded and self-released set was inspired by Jeff Rosenstock and PUP and featured the single "Yer Killin' Me." In 2018, Mathys parted ways with the band, reducing Remo Drive to a sibling duo with two official members. That same year, they also issued an EP titled Pop Music.

In 2019, the group released their sophomore effort, Natural, Everyday Degradation. For this set, the lo-fi fuzz of their debut gave way to a cleaner indie rock attack on tracks such as "Shakin'" and "Separate Beds."
