Memphis rapper Moneybagg Yo brings grit and menace to his rhymes about street life. The prolific MC began releasing mixtapes in 2012, and became a regular fixture of the higher reaches of the Billboard 200 chart starting with his Top Five-charting mixtape Federal 3X in 2017, and continuing with studio albums like 2020's Time Served.

Description : Nonpoint - Alive & Kicking (Acoustic) - Music Video

South Florida born and Midwest hardened rock band Nonpoint bring you new music with the Alive and Kicking Quarantine Sessions. They’re putting a new spin on a fan favorite from their unstoppable record “To the Pain.” This time they redo it acoustic style and it’s actually been redone right from their homes as they practice social distancing through this Coronavirus pandemic here in the United States. America needs support from its artists to help us all emotionally and recording these play throughs from each member. Watch Elias Soriano on vocals in this episode struggle with gear, with lockdown and giving credit where credit is due. We’ve seen Robb Rivera on drums, Rasheed Thomas on rhythm guitar, Jason Zeilstra on lead guitar, Adam Woloszyn on bass, and Rob Ruccia on keys and strings in the last 4 episodes leading up to the release of Alive and Kicking “The Quarantine Session.” We maybe on lockdown, but that won’t stop the band from being there for their fans.

Jonathan Wilson is a musical polymath. In addition to being a highly regarded songwriter and guitarist, he is a noted producer and guitarist. Deeply influenced by late-'60s West Coast psychedelia and the Laurel Canyon singer/songwriter scene of the '70s, he could easily be mistaken for a SoCal native (he's from North Carolina). 2013's Gentle Spirit, put Wilson on the map as a recording artist. Its spacy, trippy, production -- that some critics called "baked" -- combined with loosely constructed, languid songs, put him on the map. As a songwriter and sideman he's worked with Erykah Badu, Elvis Costello, Roger Waters (he directs the artist's touring band), and Jenny Lewis, to name a few. His 2013 offering Fanfare was steeped in psychedelia from both sides of the Atlantic. Among the album's studio participants were David Crosby, Graham Nash, Jackson Browne, Benmont Tench, and Mike Campbell. Wilson is also a notable producer: He helmed Roy Harper's lauded 2013 comeback Man & Myth, and appeared with the songwriter at his 70th birthday concert at London's Royal Albert Hall. In addition, Wilson has produced indie artists ranging from Dawes, Mia Doi Todd, and Conor Oberst to Father John Misty and the Manchester Orchestra. 2018's Rare Birds offered a dazzling array of sounds and production techniques in an entire album about heartbreak. Wilson used his record collection as inspiration in producing the album. The set took home Album of the Year awards in Rolling Stone, France and Blitz in Portugal, and brought him his first national television appearances in the U.S., on Conan and CBS Saturday Morning.

"She Drives Me Crazy" is a song released in 1988 by English group Fine Young Cannibals, and included on their 1989 album The Raw & the Cooked. Peaking at No. 5 on the British singles chart in January 1989, "She Drives Me Crazy" is the band's highest charting single in their native UK. The single proved an even bigger hit in the US, topping the Billboard Hot 100 on 15 April 1989 for one week and becoming the first of two chart-topping singles for the band on that chart. "She Drives Me Crazy" also reached No.1 on the US Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play Singles chart, as well as in countries including Australia, Austria, Canada, New Zealand and Spain. It reached the top 3 on several European charts including Belgium, Germany, Iceland, Ireland and Switzerland.

In 2018, Time Out magazine listed "She Drives Me Crazy" at No. 28 in their countdown of The 50 best '80s songs.

Pop-oriented contemporary R&B artist Mya arrived in 1998, when she was 18 years old. Within only a few years, the singer, songwriter, and dancer had two platinum albums and a gold one, a clutch of Top Ten pop hits, and a Grammy Award. Just as significantly, she developed from an artist frequently compared to the likes of Brandy and Aaliyah into one with her own identity. Sounding innocent and knowing at the same time, while consistently upbeat and confident, she released some of the most memorable R&B singles of the late '90s and early 2000s, including "It's All About Me," "Case of the Ex," and "Fallen." Mya took her rightful place in a continuum of stylistically similar artists that gave way to Ciara, Rihanna, and Tinashe, among others, then went independent in the late 2000s as she divided her work between recording, acting, philanthropy, teaching, and even competing on Dancing with the Stars.

L.A. rapper Blueface made a snap decision to abandon his dreams of playing football, and in under a year went from barely contemplating music-making to being one of the more buzzed-about rappers in the game. Taking the name Blueface to represent both an association with the Crips and the "blue" $100 bill, the face-tatted rapper broke out in 2018 with several releases that highlighted his asymmetrical flow and cleverly surreal lyrical style.

Blueface was born Jonathan Porter in 1997, growing up in Los Angeles and moving around the area a lot before attending college at North Carolina's Fayetteville State University on a football scholarship. After dropping out of college, Porter found himself back in L.A. and hanging out with his friend TC4800 for a studio session. He randomly took the mike, rapping for the first time in his life. He developed a polarizing style that incorporated lines that wandered in and out of meter as well as provocative, ear-catching lyrics heavy on slang and clever imagery. His first track to break through on a bigger level was "DeadLocs" in early 2018. He followed the viral track with the even more successful "Thotiana" a few weeks later. He began doing tours of high schools and meeting fans at area malls. This grassroots promotion helped him build a devoted fan base and he quickly issued new music to keep them interested. The Famous Cryp mixtape, an EP entitled Two Coccy, and a collaborative mixtape with Trendd called We Over Famous all showed up before the end of 2018. Later in the year, Blueface signed with long-running rap superpower Cash Money Records. He began 2019 with the new single "Bleed It." A handful of additional singles followed including the Rich the Kid collaboration "Daddy," which was featured on his Dirt Bag EP later that year. A long-labored debut studio album was first announced in October of 2019, with a release date for December of that year. After being pushed back multiple times, Find the Beat finally arrived in March of 2020. The album featured guest appearances from a large cast of big-name rappers, including verses from Gunna, NLE Choppa, DaBaby, and many others. The album broke through to the Top 100 of the Billboard charts, peaking at number 64.

Jonathan Wilson has been busy since 2013's Fanfare. He's produced two albums by Father John Misty (Josh Tillman), who returns the favor by appearing here, and records by Conor Oberst, Dawes, and Karen Elson, as well as playing on Roy Harper's Man & Myth and Roger Waters' Is This the Life We Really Want? He's also musical director of Waters' touring band. Like his previous outings, Rare Birds is drenched in the sounds of his record collection, but this time around he's cast his sonic net considerably deeper and wider than the Laurel Canyon and yacht rock-isms so entrenched in its predecessors. It's sprawling at nearly 80 minutes, and lavishly packaged -- especially the LP. While the aftermath of a broken relationship is the obsession behind these songs, Wilson insists this isn't a concept record. However, the truth of the matter is that it might as well be, as he charts the various stages of attraction, desire, hope, love, conflict, and romantic dissolution.

Australian outfit Tired Lion channel the essence of '90s alt-rock through their guitar-driven, gutsy blasts of indie rock. The brainchild of vocalist and guitarist Sophie Hopes and guitarist Matt Tanner, the duo had originally joined forces while still at school, but the addition of drummer Ethan Darnell and bassist Nick Vasey bolstered their sound. 2013 saw the release of their debut EP, All We Didn't Know, and the group became regulars in their local scene in Perth. The follow-up EP, Figurine, appeared in 2015 and featured the track "I Don't Think You Like Me," which had helped the band earn themselves a considerable fan base. That same year, national radio station Triple J awarded the band their Unearthed Artist award. The following year saw the group tour with fellow Aussies Spiderbait and Violent Soho, as well as heading to Europe to play a handful of summer festivals and headline dates. The group recorded their debut album in 2017. Produced by Luke Boerdam from Violent Soho, the resulting record, Dumb Days, was issued in the September and debuted on the official Australian charts.

An eclectic indie rock act from New York, Dirty Projectors are a band of stylistic contradictions. Creating music that is at once challenging and accessible, Dirty Projectors' recordings are full of engaging melodies, thoughtful arrangements, and polished harmonies that are punctuated with angular stylistic shifts, wiry guitar work, and lyrics whose themes sometimes run counter to the sounds they accompany. The brainchild of vocalist, songwriter, and instrumentalist Dave Longstreth, Dirty Projectors first caught the attention of indie rock followers with 2004's Slaves' Graves and Ballads and 2005's The Getty Address, while 2007's Rise Above found them reworking songs from Black Flag's back catalog in truly unexpected ways. While Rise Above earned the group plenty of press, it was 2009's Bitte Orca that was their true critical and popular breakthrough, a commercial success that also found Longstreth and his collaborators writing and performing at the peak of their powers.

In December 2019, Dirty Projectors released Sing the Melody, a live-in-the-studio set that found the touring version of the band performing highlights from the Lamp Lit Prose tour. Along with six songs from the Dirty Projectors' catalog, the album featured "Knotty Pine," which Dave Longstreth wrote in collaboration with David Byrne, and "FourFiveSeconds," the Rihanna/Kanye West/Paul McCartney hit that Longstreth helped write and produce.

Sonic Boom is the alias of Pete Kember, known first as the singer/guitarist in the legendary hypno-drone unit Spacemen 3, then as the leader of Spectrum and Experimental Audio Research in the '90s, and as a producer (MGMT, Panda Bear) and collaborator (No Joy, Dean & Britta) since then.

During the 2000s he worked with Füxa, the Warlocks, Magnétophone, Dean & Britta, Cheval Sombre, Sunray, and the Flowers from Hell, both as a performer and producer. His return from the fringes of the alternative scene occurred when MGMT hired him to produce their high-profile second album, Congratulations, in 2010. Afterwards, he continued working steadily, adding his hypnotic magic to records by TEEN, Cheval Sombre, Panda Bear, and Moon Duo, and collaborating on a heavily electronic 2018 EP with shoegaze revivalists No Joy.

Milwaukee-born, Atlanta-raised rapper K Camp started performing in high school as part of a group called HBC. The group split, in part due to lack of ambition, but K Camp took his talent a little more seriously -- albeit without any plan of making a career out of it. He continued to perform and record on his own and, in 2009, released the party anthem "All Night," which gained some popularity in Atlanta. After enduring some business mishaps, including an alleged lack of recognition for his role in the making of Myko Montana's "Do It," K Camp continued to build his reputation through underground releases such as Fan4life, Show Money, and In Due Time. The last of the three featured "Money Baby," one of the best showcases for his laconic, laid-back flow to that point. It was also his first single to chart -- a number 19 hit on Billboard's Hot Rap Tracks. 2 Chainz collaboration "Cut Her Off," the lead single from the Interscope-released EP In Due Time, reached number six and went platinum. Only Way Is Up, K Camp's debut album, followed in 2015 with appearances from T.I., Bun B, and Jeremih, among others. In 2016, K Camp dropped a single with 2 Chainz, "5 Minutes," as well as a mixtape, RARE. Two more mixtapes followed in 2017, K.I.S.S. 4 and SlumLords 2, as well as a single, "Good Problem." Another standalone single, "Switch," arrived in early 2019.

...And Oceans assembled in 1995 out of scattered components from Finland's black metal scene, and made its official debut with 1998's Dynamic Gallery of Thoughts (Season of Mist); The Symmetry of 1 - The Circle of O followed a year later. ...And Oceans jumped to Century Media for 2001's A.M. G.O.D.: Allotropic/Metamorphic-Genesis of Dimorphism, and got the word out by supporting Marduk, Vader, and Mortician on a European tour. Cypher followed in June 2002; it was the best example yet of the group's ambitiously bleak mix of grind, thrash, symphonic, and ambient textures. In addition to their work with ...And Oceans, the band's members moonlighted in happy-go-lucky acts like Rotten Sound, Deathbound, and 6 Billion Ways to Die.

London-based electronic dance producer Jonas Blue (born Guy James Robin in Essex, England) caught the attention of the industry with his reimagining of Tracy Chapman's 1988 hit "Fast Car." Adding a tropical house tint to the plaintive, bittersweet acoustic original, Blue enlisted the talents of young British singer Dakota, whose sultry vocals helped carry the song to the top of 17 international charts, including number one slots in Australia, Scotland, and both the U.K. and U.S. dance charts. In 2016 Blue released "Perfect Strangers," the follow-up to his global smash, featuring JP Cooper on vocals. The single landed in the Top Ten internationally and was followed by "By Your Side" with Raye. The following year he issued "Mama," his collaboration with Australian pop vocalist William Singe. That track would appear on Electronic Nature: The Mix 2017, a compilation of favorites from the DJ's own live sets. In addition to his own hit singles, the collection included his spins on songs by Galantis, Zedd, Ellie Goulding, Disclosure, and more. In 2018, Blue released the feel-good house-pop tune "Rise," which saw him collaborating with Nebraskan Vine stars/pop duo Jack & Jack. That song and most of his previous singles were compiled into the full-length album Blue in November of that year. The non-album single, "What I Like About You" featuring Theresa Rex, was released in early 2019.
