Fun-loving yet not too proud to write about inner conflict, amiable Coastal California rapper Kyle hit multiple countries' Top Ten charts countries in 2013 as the featured artist on Martin Solveig and the Cataracs' "Hey Now." As he independently built a sizeable following, he truly hit his commercial stride a few years later with "iSpy." Featuring an assist from the then-emergent Lil Yachty, the single reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2017 and achieved multi-platinum status just before the headliner was selected for XXL magazine's annual Freshman Class feature. Light of Mine, Kyle's full-length debut for major-label Atlantic, arrived the following year and reached the Top 30 of the Billboard 200.

Originally uploaded to SoundCloud in 2016, "iSpy," featuring Lil Yachty, surprised Kyle with a response so positive that major-label Atlantic signed him the following February and helped push the song to the number four position on the Billboard Hot 100. It was awarded a double platinum certification just before XXL's annual Freshman Class feature brightened the spotlight. Throughout the rest of 2017 and the first half of 2018, Kyle responded with a handful of singles and secondary featured appearances that led to his full-length debut, Light of Mine. Containing another track with Kehlani, plus support from 2 Chainz, Alessia Cara, and Khalid, the album debuted on the Billboard 200 in June 2018 at number 29. Later that year, Kyle contributed the track "Moment," featuring Wiz Khalifa, to the Netflix film The After Party, which he also starred in, and he collaborated again with Lil Yachty on the single "Hey Julie!" Both tracks were included the following year on an expanded deluxe version of Light of Mine, which also featured new songs with MadeinTYO and Teyana Taylor. In 2020, he issued the singles "YES!," with Rich the Kid and K Camp, and "What It Is."

Chicago rapper Calboy looked to his own struggles with mental health and substance abuse when writing some of his hardest-hitting rhymes. Going so far as to name one of his mixtapes Anxiety, his songs loom heavy with moody melodies and huge trap beats. Several singles such as "Can't Tell" paved the way for new fans, but it was the 2018 single "Envy Me" that broke through to millions with a viral video.

Calboy was born Calvin Wood in 1999. He was raised in the gritty South Chicago neighborhood of Calumet City, growing up amid crime and violence. This hostile environment would influence his music early on, with lyrics reflecting both the tough conditions of street life and the anxiety and depression he felt because of it. He formed a crew of artists and friends called the Paper Gang and set about working on music both solo and with this collective. His first mixtape, The Chosen One, was released in 2017 and was followed months later that same year with second mixtape Anxiety. 2018 brought the brief ten-song mixtape Calboy the Wild Boy, released on Paper Gang. While working on his next project, Calboy dropped the single "Envy Me" in September of 2018. The song caught on in a massive way, being streamed millions of times within its first few months of release. The buzz surrounding Calboy, the song and its place in a burgeoning scene of melodic rap coming out of Chicago was enough to land the rapper a major-label deal with RCA. In 2019, the Wildboy mixtape was assembled around the song, and included features from Lil Durk, Young Thug, Polo G, and others. Rounding out the year with the G Herbo-assisted "Purpose," Calboy kicked off 2020 with the February EP Long Live the Kings. With further features from Lil Baby and Lil Tjay, the project saw the rapper continue to develop his melody-driven style.

Danish band featuring vocalist King Diamond, guitarists Hank Shermann and Michael Denner, bassist Timi Hansen, and drummer Kim Ruzz. Mercyful Fate won a large cult following thanks to their dramatic lyrics, showing a Gothic obsession with evil and the occult, and Diamond's amazing vocal range, which shifted from a low growl to a banshee scream, plus the interplay of Shermann and Denner. The band broke up after two full-length albums owing to differences of opinion about what direction the group should take (Shermann wanted a more commercial approach). Diamond pursued a solo career in the mid-'80s. In 1993, the group reformed its original lineup, with the exception of Ruzz (King Diamond drummer Snowy Shaw joined instead). The initial results were quite successful, as the group seemed to pick up right where it left off, much to the delight of their fans. Hansen left after the first reunion record, In the Shadows, and was replaced by Sharlee D'Angelo on its 1994 follow-up Time; drummer Shaw's place was taken by Bjarne T. Holm for 1996's Into the Unknown. Dead Again followed in 1998, as did further lineup shifts; original member Denner called it quits, and the band recruited Mike Wead to take his place on guitar. This lineup remained in place for 1999's 9.

Last year I covered "My People...Hold On" by Eddie Kendricks at Governor's Ball in New York, and my choreographer created a beautiful dance to it for the show. Never thought it would emotionally come back around to me like this.

It’s a crazy world we’re living in and my people have been suffering the most, leaving me with tears in my eyes & so many questions that have been keeping me up at night for weeks. I personally always seek answers to the unknown through science as scientific evidence cannot be argued against. In the past I’ve looked to science and found god. I found that science and spirituality are more connected then one would think if not the same thing just expressed differently.

In a time like this when people including myself are waking up, I’ve once again looked to science in finding the answer as to why throughout most of humanity we have wasted so much time judging others merely for their skin tone or their hair texture. And while I did not find an answer I found scientific evidence that proves just how illogical racism is. It has been scientifically proven we ALL come from Africa. All DNA has traced back to one woman, the mitochondrial Eve, in Africa between 100,000 -200,000 years ago. The variety in skin tone and hair texture within the human race is the result of evolutionary traits due to migration. Darker skin or lighter skin is the human race adapting to the amount of UV light emitted within certain parts of the world. The genetic similarity between a white man in Sweden and a black woman in Nigeria(human to human) is 99.9%. Why are we wasting time giving hate towards others because they look .1% different. It logically doesn’t make sense, but our obsession with power and greed has possessed & corrupted the human race. It has created war after war and hurt so many in the process for absolutely nothing.

I’m aware that a positive cannot exist without a negative. If you look inside of an atom it’s essentially made up of two opposing forces. There is both a positive charge and a negative and with the neutral charge they keep the atom as a whole in balance. Think about how mind blowingly spiritual that is.
I say this to point out how much we need the negativity of this world to be exposed because right now humanity is imbalanced. The good, the love, and the light on this little blue dot that we call earth is lacking and the planet as a whole is greatly effected.

It’s so amazing to see the world learning, growing and most importantly helping one another. We cannot let go of this feeling or this moment. We should use this positive mentality as the everlasting force driving humankind as a whole to greatness not just for the future of yourself but for the future of everyone around you.

This cover and really any song I’ve made is dedicated to all of the people doing this. We have had enough, it’s time to bring more positive force into this world... To all the people speaking out on behalf of purely loving one another no matter the minuscule .1% differences in our DNA. Hold on to that love and know YOU, no matter where your homo sapiens ancestors migrated to, are and always will be MY people.

100% of profits made from My people’ will go to an organization that develops black agricultural land ownership. In my opinion what we need as a human race to truly thrive is good quality education and good quality land & food. The only way we can accomplish such is by giving our black communities access to land and the tools to use it.

With a rangy set of friends from Fall Out Boy to Lil Wayne, it was clear from the start that Tyga was not your everyday rapper from Compton. After recording a mixtape and promoting it around the city, Tyga ran into his cousin, Gym Class Heroes member Travis McCoy, in the Flight Club L.A. sneaker shop. Their conversation went from shoes to rappers, and as Travis' group went from unknowns to MTV stars, he would always remember that talk and his cousin's unique style.

The Album (Album Stream)

"The Album (Album Stream)" music video by Teyana Taylor
Added: 19-06-2020
Genre : R'n'B, Soul, Funk, Album Streams
Description : The Album is the third studio album by American singer Teyana Taylor. The album was released on June 19, 2020, through GOOD Music, Def Jam Recordings and Getting Out of Our Dreams, almost exactly two years after her second album K.T.S.E. The album was preceded by the release of six singles "How You Want It?", "Morning" and "We Got Love", "Made It", "Bare with Me" and "Wake Up Love". The 23-track album features guest appearances from Erykah Badu, Kehlani, Lauryn Hill, Future, Rick Ross, Quavo, and Missy Elliot. Taylor's husband, Iman Shumpert and their daughter also appear.

-

Amid work as an actor, dancer, and choreographer along with other creative pursuits, Teyana Taylor has had a labyrinthine career as an R&B recording artist, highlighted by the forthright, soul-rooted Top 20 albums VII (2014) and K.T.S.E. (2018). The Harlem native signed with the Neptunes' Star Trak label, helped popularize the Chicken Noodle Soup dance, and aided in the choreography for Beyoncé's "Ring the Alarm" video by the time she appeared on a 2007 episode of MTV's My Super Sweet 16, when she became visible to the public. The year after Taylor made her television debut, she released her brash first single, the Jazze Pha-produced "Google Me." The track reached number 90 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and was followed in 2009 by the mixtape From a Planet Called Harlem, but that was the extent of her output for Star Trak. By the end of the year, she'd picked up a co-writing credit on "So Cold," a cut included on Chris Brown's Grammy-nominated Graffiti.

The start of the following decade was pivotal for Taylor. In 2010, she was cast in Stomp the Yard 2: Homecoming -- her first of several acting roles -- and contributed vocals to Kanye West's Grammy-winning My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Released from Star Trak parent label Interscope, she signed to West's Def Jam-affiliated G.O.O.D. label, where she debuted on the 2012 compilation Cruel Summer, a number two hit featuring her input on "Sin City" and "Bliss." Taylor released another mixtape in 2012, but her proper debut, VII, didn't arrive until November 2014. Promoted with the singles "Maybe" and "Do Not Disturb," two of several steamy ballads, the album debuted at number 19 on the Billboard 200. A self-issued EP appeared in 2015, but another three years passed prior to the true follow-up to VII, during which Taylor spent time with her daughter. She appeared on 2017 tracks by Meek Mill and the duo of Fabolous and Jadakiss, and in June 2018 issued K.T.S.E. The short album, featuring co-production from West on every track, debuted at number 17.

An MC perfectly styled for the age of Future and Desiigner, Bronx rapper A Boogie wit da Hoodie hit the scene in 2016 with a funkier version of trap rap. Releasing music on his own Highbridge the Label imprint, he quickly found success with his debut mixtape, Artist. Later signing with Atlantic, he scored big with the triple-platinum single "Drowning" in 2017, which led to the Top Ten hit The Bigger Artist and its chart-topping 2018 follow-up, Hoodie SZN.

Born Artist Dubose in the Highbridge neighborhood of the Bronx, Boogie took inspiration from Kanye West and 50 Cent and began rapping during his teenage years. After spending some time in Florida, where be recorded his first songs, he returned home to New York in 2015 and founded Highbridge the Label with fellow rapper Quincy "QP" Acheampong. In March, he dropped his debut mixtape, Artist, which yielded the platinum singles "My S**t" and "Jungle." Just one month later, he dropped "Bag on Me" featuring Don Q. With a Meek Mill and DJ Khaled co-sign soon after and the Highbridge the Label: The Takeover, Vol. 1 mixtape released in May, the Atlantic label signed a deal with Highbridge and issued the singles "Bando" and "Timeless." The TBA EP followed in October.

At the start of 2017, Boogie was featured in XXL's Freshman Class feature. Later the same year, he released his debut full-length, The Bigger Artist, a number four Billboard 200 entry packed with appearances from Trey Songz, Chris Brown, Kodak Black, and Robin Thicke. In early 2018, Boogie featured on 6ix9ine's hit single "Keke" alongside Fetty Wap, then returned in June with his second EP, International Artist, another guest-heavy release that included J Alvarez, Jessie Reyez, and many more. His second full-length album, Hoodie SZN, arrived at the end of the year and topped the Billboard 200. Throughout 2019, Boogie kept a high profile by being featured on an array of singles by other acts including Ally Brooke's "Lips Don't Lie" and Khalid's "Right Back," while issuing singles of his own like "Mood Swings" and "Reply."

Genre : Rock & Alternative
Description : The Rolling Stones - Lady Jane (Lyric Video)

"Lady Jane" is a song by the English rock group the Rolling Stones, penned by the group's songwriting duo of Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. It was initially included on their album, Aftermath. which was released on 12 April 1966 in the UK and 20 June 1966 in the US.

The song showcases Brian Jones' instrumental incorporation of baroque rock as it was beginning to be introduced, and became influential in originating the musical style later known as world music. In the US, the song was released as the B-side of the "Mother's Little Helper" single on 2 July 1966, and peaked at number 24 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

"Lady Jane" was written and composed by Jagger in early 1966 after reading the then controversial book Lady Chatterley's Lover, which uses the term "Lady Jane" to mean female genitalia.

According to Jagger, "the names [in the song] are historical, but it was really unconscious that they should fit together from the same period." At the time, it was widely thought that an inspiration for the song was Jane Ormsby-Gore, daughter of David Ormsby-Gore, former British ambassador in Washington, who later married Michael Rainey, founder of the Hung on You boutique in Chelsea that was frequented by the Stones.

Its most influential development was by Jones, no longer the principal musical force for the band, searching for methods to improve upon The Rolling Stones' musical textures. He expressed an intrigue in incorporating culturally diverse instruments into the band's music, investigating the sitar, koto, marimba, and testing electronics. In the press Jones talked about applying the Appalachian dulcimer into compositions, although he seemed uncertain of the instrument, saying "It's an old English instrument used at the beginning of the century". The dulcimer was first brought to his attention in March 1966 when Jones began listening to recordings of Richard Fariña. The influence of these recordings would manifest itself in Aftermath, where Jones performed with the dulcimer on two tracks, "I Am Waiting" and, more distinctively, "Lady Jane". This later contributed to Jones's status as an early pioneer in world music, and effectively shifted the band from blues rock to a versatile pop group.

Leon Bridges' first strides as an R&B artist prompted comparisons to legends like Sam Cooke and Otis Redding, but the native Texan quickly came into his own with the remarkably refined Coming Home (2015) and Good Thing (2018), Top Ten albums that resulted in four Grammy nominations and a win in the category of Best Traditional R&B Performance (for "Bet Ain't Worth the Hand," off the latter). Bridges has expanded his audience with featured appearances on songs by artists ranging from the similarly tradition-rooted likes of Nick Waterhouse, Kacey Musgraves, and Gary Clark, Jr. to rappers Macklemore and Lecrae. These one-offs, along with Texas Sun (2019), an EP recorded with psych synthesists Khruangbin, have demonstrated that Bridges is no mere throwback stylist.

A European power metal combo known for melodic riffing and lyrical bombast, Primal Fear emerged in the late '90s. Based out of Germany and founded by former Tyran Pace and Gamma Ray vocalist Ralf Scheepers and bassist Mat Sinner, the band's compelling blend of speed and melody (intricate dual-lead work and soaring vocals) evokes NWOBHM greats like Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, the latter of which courted Scheepers after the departure of Rob Halford in 1991. Primal Fear became fixtures in the European heavy metal scene during the 2000s, releasing a slew of well-received albums, and found mainstream success in the 2010s with the release of Unbreakable (2012) and Delivering the Black (2014), which charted both at home and abroad.

Citing "irreconcilable differences," drummer Randy Black left the group the following year, and was replaced by Francesco Jovino, who made his Primal Fear debut on 2016's Rulebreaker. In 2017, they issued the live album Angels of Mercy: Live in Germany, with the full-length Apocalypse (their 12th studio effort) arriving the following year. Their next studio album, Metal Commando, was released in 2020.

English quintet Blossoms burst onto the British scene in the 2010s, quickly rising from local clubs to festival stages within a few short years. Their breakthrough debut landed in 2016 after years of anticipation, topping charts and winning fans with a catchy, synth-forward blend of Brit-pop and indie rock heard on songs like hit single "Charlemagne." Incorporating more new wave influences on their follow-up, 2018's Cool Like You, the band maintained their presence on U.K. charts and on the touring circuit. By the end of the decade, they were selling out shows, including one at a hometown stadium. The group entered a new decade in 2020 with their third LP, the lovelorn Foolish Loving Spaces.

Multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter Tom Walker blends hip-hop-inspired beats, eclectic samples, and traditional songwriting in his music. First breaking through with the gritty yet poignant 2017 hit "Leave a Light On," he scored a U.K. number one album in 2019 with his full-length debut, the gold-selling What a Time to Be Alive.

Born in Scotland and raised in Manchester, England, Walker grew up listening to Ray Charles, the Police, and Bob Marley from his father's record collection, and taught himself how to play drums, guitar, piano, and bass. After studying songwriting at London's College of Contemporary Music, Walker began making music in earnest, collaborating with his housemates -- who included members of Whilk & Misky -- in their home studio. One of his songs, 2016's "Sun Goes Down," interpolated the '30s work song "I'll Be So Glad When the Sun Goes Down" and featured poet/musician Kojey Radical. The track earned acclaim and airplay on Radio 1, and Walker signed to Relentless soon after. His official debut single, "Fly Away with Me," arrived later that year. The Blessings EP was released in April 2017, along with a pair of singles, "Heartland" and "Leave a Light On." Walker started working with producer Mike Spencer on his debut album soon after, putting together 12 tracks of impeccably produced, soulful, contemporary pop. Preceded by the singles "My Way" and "Angels," the album, What a Time to Be Alive -- which took its title from the track "Blessings" -- was issued in March of 2019. Following the chart success of a re-recording of acoustic album track "Just You and I," a deluxe version of the album was issued later in the year. Walker won the award for British Breakthrough Act at the 2019 BRIT Awards.

Netherlands-based DJ/production duo Maarten Hoogstraten (aka Break Mechanic, Marchand) and Paul Christian (real last name Bäumer) started releasing commercial house singles and remixes as Bingo Players in 2006, when they debuted on the German Techtone label with the Sonic Stomp EP. Over time, their pared-down sound became increasingly layered, more rush-inducing, and reliant upon clever vocal samples. Some of their more notable releases across 2010 and 2011 included “Tom’s Diner” (where they sampled the hit DNA version of the Suzanne Vega song), “When I Dip” (Freak Nasty's “Da’ Dip”), and “Cry (Just a Little)” (Brenda Russell's “Piano in the Dark”).
