DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT
This video was approached as a documented mass sigil informed by the historical and philosophical concept of self-immolation, performed under the lunar eclipse of Independence Day. Participants were asked to bring personal offerings to burn, and were given a directive to write down their intentions for the future, which were attached with accelerants to an effigy that was later cremated. It was a symbolic act of releasing what we wish to abandon, and an invocation of what we wish to rebuild.

New York-based noise-rock duo Uniform combine multiple schools of noise -- including industrial music, thrash metal, and power electronics -- to create an all-consuming wall of catharsis. After debuting with a self-released EP in 2014, the duo released acclaimed albums on labels such as Alter and Sacred Bones, each release harsher and angrier than the last. Following the politically charged 2017 full-length Wake in Fright, Uniform toured with Portland-based duo the Body, and the two acts began working together, starting with 2018's Mental Wounds Not Healing.

With an inventive style that seems to navigate the sounds of 1970s prog rock, the African-influenced pop of bands like Dirty Projectors and Vampire Weekend, Animal Collective's dense experimentations, and cheerful video game music, Delicate Steve is the brainchild of New Jersey-based guitarist/songwriter Steve Marion. His instrumental rock often features layers of percussion, keyboards, and electronic effects tied together with breezy slide guitar. Combining experimental music and melodic pop from the beginning with his debut album Wondervisions in 2011, Delicate Steve released music on Luaka Bop and Anti- throughout the decade. In the meantime, Marion became an in-demand studio musician, appearing on albums by Paul Simon, Yeasayer, and Sondre Lerche, among others.

Having previously recorded friends' bands, Marion realized one day that he had enough gear lying around his home studio to record an album of his own and decided to go for it. Using the alias Delicate Steve, Marion released his first album, Wondervisions, in 2011 on David Byrne's Luaka Bop label. In 2012, he returned with his sophomore Delicate Steve full-length, Positive Force, also on Luaka Bop. A year later, he partnered with guitarist Christian Peslak for Beyond the Drone under the moniker Saint Rich.

As word of Marion's work spread and gained fans among colleagues, he was invited to appear on albums by artists such as Yeasayer, Sondre Lerche, and People Get Ready. He recorded 2015's Live in Las Vegas while on tour in support of Tame Impala in late 2014. In 2016, in addition to playing guitar on releases by Lewis Del Mar, Your Friend, and, again, Yeasayer, he provided slide guitar for Paul Simon's critically acclaimed Stranger to Stranger LP. Marion's third studio album, the playful This Is Steve, followed in early 2017 with all its earworms again supplied by the guitar. It marked his debut on Epitaph's Anti- imprint. The label also issued his Cowboy Stories EP later the same year. Marion played multiple types of guitar on Amen Dunes' 2018 release Freedom before coming back with The Christmas Album that October. Still with Anti-, Delicate Steve's fifth studio long-player, Till I Burn Up, followed in March 2019.

"Dreams" is the debut single by Irish rock band the Cranberries. It was released in 1992 and later appeared on the debut album Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?. It reached the top 40 on the US Hot 100 Airplay and the top 30 of the UK Singles Chart in early 1994. A 1990 demo version was released in Ireland only in the summer of that year under their initial band name, the Cranberry Saw Us.

The backing vocals on the song are sung by Mike Mahoney, ex-boyfriend of Cranberries lead singer Dolores O'Riordan.

In 2017, the song was released as an acoustic, stripped down version on the band's Something Else album.

"Somebody That I Used to Know" is a song written by Belgian-Australian singer-songwriter Gotye, featuring New Zealand singer Kimbra. The song was released in Australia and New Zealand by Eleven Music on 5 July 2011 as the second single from Gotye's third studio album, Making Mirrors (2011). It was later released by Universal Music in December 2011 in the United Kingdom, and in January 2012 in the United States and Ireland. "Somebody That I Used to Know" was written and recorded by Gotye at his parents' house on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia, and is lyrically related to the experiences he has had with relationships.

Before making his first solo effort, Long Island native Jeff Rosenstock was the driving force behind the bands Bomb the Music Industry! and the Arrogant Sons of Bitches. A major advocate of D.I.Y. ideals since his teenage years, Rosenstock also founded the donation-based indie label Quote Unquote Records in 2006.

From the mid-'90s until their breakup in 2004, the Arrogant Sons of Bitches released three high-energy ska-punk records and various EPs, after which Rosenstock and a couple of other members formed the new collective Bomb the Music Industry! Incorporating ska, punk, hardcore, and even synth pop, Rosenstock stuck to his D.I.Y. ideals both musically and conceptually. The prolific group generally offered their albums as free downloads, kept their concert tickets under $10, and even provided free stencils and paints at their gigs so fans could make their own T-shirts. With a rotating cast of members, Rosenstock was the one constant during BTMI's ten-year run. In addition to starting his own label and fronting side projects like Kudrow and Antarctigo Vespucci, he also had stints playing in various other punk and ska bands like Mustard Plug, the Bruce Lee Band, and Andrew Jackson Jihad.

Rosenstock's solo debut, I Look Like Shit, arrived in 2012. By this time, Bomb the Music Industry! had begun to slow down and eventually called it quits in 2014. He delivered his second solo album, We Cool?, the following year, followed in 2016 by the nervy, ambitious Worry., his second effort for SideOneDummy. Written early 2017 and recorded by producer Jack Shirley in a marathon one-week session, Rosenstock's third full-length, Post-, was released with no advance promotion on New Year's Day 2018. He issued the album with esteemed indie label Polyvinyl, and in 2019 the label also put out a collaborative EP of Neil Young covers performed by Rosenstock and Laura Stevenson titled Still Young, as well as the fourth LP from his long-running side project Antarctigo Vespucci. In May 2020, Rosenstock released his fourth solo album, NO DREAM, again without announcement or press lead-up of any kind.

On a Day Like Today is the eighth studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter Bryan Adams, released on October 27, 1998.

On a Day Like Today was a success around the world, peaking at number three in Canada, and number eleven in the UK. However at the time in the U.S. market, it became the first of Adams' albums since 1983's Cuts Like a Knife not to obtain a platinum sales certification. According to AllMusic, the record company didn't do a lot of advertising for album, as Adams and this album got caught when his record company sold his recording contract to rap label Interscope, who in turn did very little in the USA to promote it.

Brightest Blue is the fourth studio album by English singer and songwriter Ellie Goulding. It was released on 17 July 2020 through Polydor Records. Originally scheduled for 5 June 2020, the album's release was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The album is preceded by three singles: "Worry About Me", "Power" and "Slow Grenade", and features guest vocals from Blackbear, Diplo, Juice Wrld, Lauv, serpentwithfeet and Swae Lee. Putting a dreamy finish on textured indie rock, Bay Area-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Madeline Kenney emerged with her first recordings in 2016. After collaborating with Toro y Moi on albums by each of them, her second full-length release, 2018's Perfect Shapes, reflected a subtly more experimental approach in terms of structure and arrangements.

Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, Madeline Kenney started taking piano lessons at the age of five and later began writing songs. In her teens, she began several years of work as a professional baker, meanwhile earning a degree in neuroscience before relocating to the Bay Area in 2014. Though she moved to pursue a career in baking, Kenney quickly took to the local arts community and became active in modern dance, painting, and, once again, songwriting. Finding work as a nanny and voice and piano teacher, she also started a small record label and learned engineering and production with help from the Women's Audio Mission in San Francisco.

With production by Toro y Moi's Chaz Bear and arrangements by Kenney, her first EP, Signals, arrived on Bear's Company Records in 2016. She then appeared on Toro y Moi's July 2017 album, Boo Boo, and Bear returned to produce Kenney's full-length debut, Night Night at the First Landing. It was released on Company Records in September 2017. With both women playing multiple instruments on the album, her more explorative second LP, Perfect Shapes, was produced by Wye Oak's Jenn Wasner.

The Gift is the first solo album by Ultravox frontman Midge Ure, released in 1985. It was released while Ultravox were taking a break; the band would go on to release U-Vox before splitting. The album reached #2 in the UK Albums Chart partly due to the large attention drawn to it by the single "If I Was" which reached #1 in the UK Singles Chart in September 1985. "That Certain Smile" was released as the second single in November 1985, and "Wastelands" was released as the third single in January 1986.

The Washboard Union is a Canadian country music group from Vancouver, British Columbia led by principal members David Roberts, Aaron Grain (aka Brett Ellis) and Chris Duncombe.

Aaron Grain and Chris Duncombe met in Kelowna, British Columbia at age 15 when Duncombe's father began dating Grain's mother. Duncombe and Grain eventually moved to Vancouver, where they met David Roberts, who was living in a Point Grey mansion. The three began writing and singing together. They originally performed under the name Run GMC. Their debut album, The Washboard Union, was released in 2012 and produced by Garth Richardson and Bob Ezrin.

In January 2015, The Washboard Union recorded an extended play, In My Bones, at RCA Studio A in Nashville, Tennessee with producer Trey Bruce. It was released by Slaight Music/Warner Music Canada on July 10, 2015. The first single, "Some Day", went top 40, and the second and third singles, "Maybe It's the Moonshine" & "Shot of Glory", reached the top 10 and top 5 respectively on the Billboard Canada Country chart. In October 2015, The Washboard Union won the British Columbia Country Music Association Award for Roots Canadiana of the Year.

The Washboard Union's next album, What We're Made Of, was produced by Matt Rovey (Zac Brown Band, Dean Brody) in Nashville and Jeff "Diesel" Dalziel in Toronto and Vancouver over the winter of 2017/18. The album’s first single, “Shine”, was the band’s third Top Ten Country Radio hit which they performed live on the Canadian Country Music Awards and walked away with a CCMA Award for 2017 Roots Artist of the Year.

In 2018 the group performed in Liverpool, Nova Scotia at the Queens Place Emera Centre.

Luke Albert Combs (born March 2, 1990) is an American country music singer and songwriter. Combs has released two albums for Columbia Nashville, which have combined to produce eight singles, each of which reached number one on Billboard's Country Airplay chart: "Hurricane", "When It Rains It Pours", "One Number Away", "She Got the Best of Me", "Beautiful Crazy", "Beer Never Broke My Heart", "Even Though I'm Leaving", and "Does to Me".

What You See Is What You Get is the second studio album by American country music singer Luke Combs, released through River House Artists and Columbia Nashville on November 8, 2019. It includes all five songs previously featured on the 2019 EP The Prequel including the singles "Beer Never Broke My Heart" and "Even Though I'm Leaving" in addition to the track "1, 2 Many" (a collaboration with Brooks & Dunn), the single "Does to Me", and later the promotional single “Six Feet Apart”. Combs will tour North America throughout the remainder of 2019 and will headline the C2C: Country to Country festival in Europe in 2020 in promotion of the album. The first three singles from the album, "Beer Never Broke My Heart", "Even Though I'm Leaving", and "Does to Me" have all charted on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, with all three reaching number one.
