"Purple Tide is a hymn to justice. One that brings balance to our kind, gives rest to the afflicted, empowers them and beheads the tyrants. When justice fails, hope fades away in our hearts and leaves nothing but a thirst for vengeance. May all rapists meet the same fate as the wretched sailors in this video"

With a sound as big as her name is punny, Alison Wonderland is a Sydney-based EDM producer and DJ who began her music career on the opposite side of the spectrum, as a classically trained cellist. Born Alexandra Sholler, she spent a few years DJ'ing before releasing her debut single, "Get Ready," in 2013; then in 2014 she signed with the EMI label and released the ironically titled Calm Down. The EP earned accolades from tastemakers like Annie Mac and Diplo, and it featured the hit single "I Want U." A year later she released her debut album, Run, which featured guest spots from Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips, Lido, and Slumberjack. The DJ celebrated the release with a series of launch parties at different strip bars dotted across Australia. Released in 2017, the single "Happy Place" revealed the first offering from Wonderland's follow-up album, Awake. An additional pair of 2018 singles, "Church" and "No," preceded the album's April release. The set was her second to top the U.S. dance chart and land in the Top 10 in her native Australia. In the beginning of 2019, she joined fellow electronic producer Dillon Francis for an American tour, and the pair released the joint single "Lost My Mind." She followed with the single

"Mad World" is a 1982 song by the British band Tears for Fears. Written by Roland Orzabal and sung by bassist Curt Smith, it was the band's third single release and first chart hit, reaching number 3 on the UK Singles Chart in November 1982. Both "Mad World" and its B-side, "Ideas as Opiates", appeared on the band's debut LP The Hurting (1983).

"Mad World" has since been covered by various artists, most notably by Michael Andrews and Gary Jules for the soundtrack of the film Donnie Darko in 2001. This version was a UK number one hit and won Orzabal his second Ivor Novello Award in 2003.

Self-described fashion-art rock band Palaye Royale mix grandiose modern alt-pop with gritty guitar rock that, at times, recalls both glam and Brit-pop. The Las Vegas-based indie trio developed a grassroots following thanks to their YouTube savvy and early self-released singles like 2012's "Morning Light" and 2013's "Get Higher." After signing with Sumerian Records, they delivered an ambitious two-part debut, Boom Boom Room, which was split into two full albums in 2016 and 2018.

Formed in 2004 by former Merlons member Peter Henrici and Fiddler's Green violinist Tobias Heindl, German parody group Feuerschwanz were first rounded out by members of Henrici's former group before becoming a full-fledged outfit. Giving the band a historical background dating from 1223, Henrici and company played alongside Fiddler's Green at various medieval shows and soon gained a following for their humorous take on medieval rock. Their first album, Prima Nocte, appeared in 2005 and was followed by sophomore release Met & Miezen in 2007. With their live show becoming quite a spectacle -- with the addition of more bandmembers and a group of dancers and entertainers known as the "chicks" gracing the stage -- Feuerschwanz went on to release their third album, 2009's Metvernichter. Continued touring and a successful show at the 2011 Wacken music festival saw their fan base grow even larger and their fourth album, 2011's Wunsch Ist Wunsch, finally saw the band enter the German album charts, albeit at number 95. In 2012 the group released their fifth album Walhalligalli, which entered the German album charts at number 37.
