Kyle Thomas Harvey (born May 18, 1993), better known mononymously as Kyle (formerly known as K.i.D, an acronym for Kyle is Determined), is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor from Ventura, California. He is best known for his 2016 breakout single "iSpy" featuring rapper Lil Yachty, which peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100. Signed to Indie-Pop (independently popular.) and Atlantic Records, Kyle is also known for his association with the SuperDuperCrew which consists of Brick, Jesus, and Maxx.

Kyle has collaborated with artists such as Kehlani, Lil Yachty, G-Eazy, Chance the Rapper, Miguel, MadeinTYO, Yuna, Ty Dolla Sign, and among others. Some of his songs in addition to "iSpy" include "Keep It Real", "Doubt It", "King Wavy" and his 2018 hit single "Playinwitme". In 2015, Rolling Stone named him as "one of the ten artists you need to know". 

His commercial mixtapes Beautiful Loser and Smyle were released in 2013 and 2015, respectively. Kyle's debut studio album Light of Mine was released in 2018 to positive reviews and was commercially successful. Kyle was inspired by many various artists and bands from Nirvana to Chief Keef.

Kyle made his acting debut in the 2018 Netflix original film The After Party. He also released the track from the film "Moment" featuring Wiz Khalifa. His sophomore album See You When I am Famous was released on July 17, 2020, and was supported by the singles; "Yes!", "What It Is" and "Bouncin'".

Cousins Husky Gawenda and Gideon Preiss grew up in Australia and developed a love of music, writing songs and listening to records together throughout their teenage years. In 2008, the two started a band, enlisting Melbourne scenesters Evan Tweedie on bass and vocals and Luke Vollins on drums, augmenting Preiss' keyboard and vocal duties and Gawenda's vocals and guitars. Taking the name Husky, the band was born. The group drew on Preiss and Gawenda's shared love of literate classic rock staples when developing its sound, melding artful songwriting inspired by the likes of Leonard Cohen and the Doors with Gawenda's poetic lyrics. The bandmembers worked tirelessly on songwriting and live performance, eventually setting up a makeshift home studio to record the basic tracks for their debut album. After working for months on the basic tracks, Husky handed over their raw materials to producer Noah Georgeson (famed for his work with artists like the Strokes and Joanna Newsom) to handle the final mixing process. The end result was their hauntingly folky debut album, Forever So, released in late 2011 on Liberation Music.

Ruckers HillIn 2011 the group also won the Pushover talent competition hosted by Australian radio institution Triple J. This opened many doors for Husky, and the band quickly gained new fans as well as landing support slots for established artists such as Gotye, Devendra Banhart, and Noah and the Whale. Husky began negotiating a deal with U.S. indie mainstay Sub Pop, which planned a global re-release of Forever So for 2012. Husky was the first Australian band to be signed to Sub Pop. Their 2014 follow-up album, Rucker's Hill, was also released through Liberation Music down under and Sub Pop in the U.S. In June 2017 Husky dropped their third LP, Punchbuzz. The band set out on an Australian tour in support, though several dates had to be postponed when Gawenda was diagnosed with glandular fever.

The Vera in question is Vera Lynn. She was an English singer, songwriter, very popular during the Second World War. Her biggest hit was "We’ll meet again”. She was widely known as the "Forces' Sweetheart”. Our Vera, who is very fondly remembered back in Blighty, died six weeks ago aged 103. So she had a bloody good innings, bless her.

Swedish hitmaking singer/songwriter Zara Larsson crafts R&B- and club-influenced dance pop influenced by artists like Beyonce, Rihanna, and Robyn. After winning a Swedish singing competition at the age of 8, Larsson crashed the mainstream in the mid-2010s with a string of Swedish number ones like "Lush Life" and "Never Forget You," which were certified multi-platinum around the world. Those tracks landed on her 2017 chart-topping breakthrough So Good, a Top Ten hit across Europe and Australasia.

The following year, Larsson released the platinum-certified single "Ruin My Life" and entered 2019 with "Don't Worry Bout Me," "All the Time," and "Wow." She also collaborated with K-pop superstars BTS on "A Brand New Day" and provided "Invisible," the theme song for the animated film Klaus. In 2020, Larsson and American rapper Tyga were featured on Kygo's tropical club anthem "Like It Is," which became a Top Five hit in Sweden, New Zealand, and Norway. Later that year, she released "Love Me Land," the first single from her LP of the same name. Love Me Land featured production from Max Martin, Julia Michaels, and Justin Tranter.

Mafia Bidness is the debut studio album by American Los Angeles-based hip hop quartet Shoreline Mafia. It was released on July 30, 2020 via Atlantic Records. Production was handled by twelve record producers, including Ron-Ron The Producer, Bruce24k, ACETHEFACE and Helluva. It features guest appearances from 03 Greedo, 1takejay, AFN Peso, Drakeo the Ruler, Duke Deuce, Future, GT, Kodak Black, Lil Yachty, Mike Sherm, Nfant, Q Da Fool, Wiz Khalifa, YG and Z Money.

In early April 2020, Shoreline Mafia founding member Fenix "Fenix Flexin" Rypinski announced that he will be leaving after the release of this album.

The album was promoted by five singles: "Gangstas & Sippas", "Ride Out", "Change Ya Life", "Perc Popper" and "How We Do It". The music video for the album's fifth single was directed by John Rawl and released on July 29, 2020, with the song being released five days earlier on July 24.

Cut Copy (sometimes stylised as Cut/Copy) are an Australian new wave music band formed in 2001 by DJ Dan Whitford (vocals, keyboards and guitar). Initially a home-recording project, the band now includes Tim Hoey (guitars), Ben Browning (bass guitar) and Mitchell Scott (drums). So far they have released five studio albums, an EP and a number of singles and remixes. They achieved breakthrough success in 2008 with their second album, In Ghost Colours. Haiku from Zero is the fifth studio album by Australian electronic music band Cut Copy. It was released on 22 September 2017 by Cutters Records and Astralwerks. Between the Buttons is the fifth British and seventh American studio album by the English rock band the Rolling Stones, released on 20 January 1967 in the UK and 11 February 1967 in the US as the follow-up to Aftermath. It reflected the Stones' brief foray into psychedelia and baroque pop balladry during the era.

The album is among the band's most musically eclectic works; band member Brian Jones all but abandoned his original role as guitarist, playing a wide variety of other instruments including organ, marimba, vibraphone, and kazoo. Keyboard parts were contributed by former member Ian Stewart and frequent collaborator Jack Nitzsche. It would be the last album produced by Andrew Loog Oldham, who had to this point acted as the band's manager and produced all of their albums.

As with prior albums, the American and British versions contained slightly different track listings. The American version of Between the Buttons, which includes "Let's Spend the Night Together" and "Ruby Tuesday", is on Rolling Stone magazine's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

Fusing a variety of genres into her self-proclaimed "Urban Jazz," Manchester vocalist IAMDDB found her footing in music with underground hit "Shade" before coming third in the BBC's Sound of 2018 awards.

IAMDDB (born Diana De Brito) was born in Lisbon, Portugal and moved to Manchester, U.K. at a young age. Blending a plethora of urban genres into her self-proclaimed "Urban Jazz," De Brito's vocals combine harmony, ad libs, and rapping to create a voice collage over her shimmering, hazy instrumentals. Despite writing from the age of seven, she didn't release her debut single until 2016's "Leaned Out," which she posted online after quitting university earlier that day. Her debut project, Waeveybby, Vol. 1 was released in 2016 and was followed the next year by sophomore effort Vibe, Vol. 2. De Brito found her first hit with 2017's infectious "Shade," which saw viral success in the U.K. and racked up tens of millions of views on video streaming platforms. Subsequent mixtapes Hoodrich, Vol. 3 (2017), Flightmode, Vol. 4 (2018) and Swervvvvv.5 (2019) continued to build buzz for the Manchester vocalist, resulting in third place at the BBC's Sound of 2018.

One of the Midwest's most enduring indie Americana outfits, Red Wanting Blue (often referred to by fans in the abbreviated RWB) formed at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, in 1995. Anchored by frontman Scott Terry, the band self-released their first album Velveteen in 1996. The Image Trigger followed two years later, and 2000's Model Citizen marked the first appearance of long-time bassist Mark McCullough.

In 2018, the band returned with their 11th full-length effort, the Will Hoge-produced The Wanting, which featured the single "Ulysses."
