Nachtblut is a German dark metal band formed in Osnabrück in 2005. They had signed a deal with Napalm Records for their third album. In 2013 they performed during Wacken Open Air and Summer Breeze Open Air. In 2014 and 2017 Nachtblut lined up Wave-Gotik-Treffen festival in Leipzig. To date, Nachtblut has released five studio albums.

New Jersey native Jeremy Zucker is a singer, songwriter, and producer of introspective indie electronica with hip-hop undertones. He counts both Jon Bellion and Bon Iver among his primary influences. Led by the single "'Bout It" featuring Daniel James and Benjamin O, his debut EP, Beach Island, arrived in August 2015. A quick succession of singles followed, which were collected on the EP Breathe later the same year. In mid-2016 Zucker released his third EP, the eight-track Motions, via 3OAK Music, a label he co-founded with James and Benjamin O. By that point, with several of his songs earning over a million plays each across streaming services, he was signed to Republic Records, which reissued Motions in the spring of 2017. The single "Talk Is Overrated" -- featuring hip-hop artist and Justin Bieber songwriter Blackbear -- followed in the middle of the year, with the digital EP Stripped dropping in early 2018. In May, Zucker released "All the Kids Are Depressed," along with a personal message about suicide and depression. The song appeared on his EP Glisten, which was quickly followed by another EP, Summer. Early 2019 saw the arrival of the single "Come Thru," followed by Brent, a collaborative EP with Chelsea Cutler. Zucker stayed busy in early 2020, issuing the singles "Always, I'll Care," "Not Ur Friend," and "Julia."

Playing glossy contemporary pop with a romantic spirit, Nightly is the brainchild of Joey Beretta and Jonathan Capeci, cousins who began making music together before they were old enough to drive. Beretta and Capeci grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and came from households filled with music. When Beretta was 13 and Capeci was 14, they bought matching electric guitars and formed a band; the pair played in a variety of combos around Philadelphia and New Jersey, and while they set music aside when they went off to college, within two years they'd both dropped out and headed to Nashville, Tennessee in hopes of making a career out of music. For several years, they played together in a band called Dinner and a Suit, who toured extensively (including several dates on the Vans Warped Tour) and released an album and an EP before breaking up near the end of 2015. In 2016, Beretta and Capeci launched a new project, Nightly, taking the name from a texting abbreviation for "Goodnight, Love You." Beretta and Capeci penned a breakup song called "XO," and after recording the tune they posted it online. To their surprise, the track began racking up hundreds of thousands of plays as well as receiving radio airplay in Nashville, and Nightly were suddenly a hot property. After playing a series of showcases, the band struck a deal with Interscope Records, which released a four-song EP, Honest, in October 2016. The group toured hard in support, sharing stages with the likes of Ke$ha, the All-American Rejects, and the Struts. In February 2018, Nightly dropped a new single, "Miss You Like Hell," while they were touring with rapper NF. It was later included on their EP, The Sound of Your Voice. Another EP, Talk You Down, followed in 2019 along with the single "This Time Last Year."

An MC perfectly styled for the age of Future and Desiigner, Bronx rapper A Boogie wit da Hoodie hit the scene in 2016 with a funkier version of trap rap. Releasing music on his own Highbridge the Label imprint, he quickly found success with his debut mixtape, Artist. Later signing with Atlantic, he scored big with the triple-platinum single "Drowning" in 2017, which led to the Top Ten hit The Bigger Artist and its chart-topping 2018 follow-up, Hoodie SZN.

Born Artist Dubose in the Highbridge neighborhood of the Bronx, Boogie took inspiration from Kanye West and 50 Cent and began rapping during his teenage years. After spending some time in Florida, where be recorded his first songs, he returned home to New York in 2015 and founded Highbridge the Label with fellow rapper Quincy "QP" Acheampong. In March, he dropped his debut mixtape, Artist, which yielded the platinum singles "My S**t" and "Jungle." Just one month later, he dropped "Bag on Me" featuring Don Q. With a Meek Mill and DJ Khaled co-sign soon after and the Highbridge the Label: The Takeover, Vol. 1 mixtape released in May, the Atlantic label signed a deal with Highbridge and issued the singles "Bando" and "Timeless." The TBA EP followed in October.

At the start of 2017, Boogie was featured in XXL's Freshman Class feature. Later the same year, he released his debut full-length, The Bigger Artist, a number four Billboard 200 entry packed with appearances from Trey Songz, Chris Brown, Kodak Black, and Robin Thicke. In early 2018, Boogie featured on 6ix9ine's hit single "Keke" alongside Fetty Wap, then returned in June with his second EP, International Artist, another guest-heavy release that included J Alvarez, Jessie Reyez, and many more. His second full-length album, Hoodie SZN, arrived at the end of the year and topped the Billboard 200. Throughout 2019, Boogie kept a high profile by being featured on an array of singles by other acts including Ally Brooke's "Lips Don't Lie" and Khalid's "Right Back," while issuing singles of his own like "Mood Swings" and "Reply."

Funeral is the thirteenth studio album by American rapper Lil Wayne. It was released on January 31, 2020, by Young Money Entertainment and Republic Records. It features guest appearances by Big Sean, Lil Baby, Jay Rock, Adam Levine, 2 Chainz, Takeoff, The-Dream, Lil Twist, the late XXXTentacion and O.T. Genasis. On May 29, the deluxe edition of the album was released with guests appearances from Doja Cat, Tory Lanez, Lil Uzi Vert, Benny the Butcher, Conway the Machine, and Jessie Reyez.

"I Do It" featuring Big Sean and Lil Baby was released as a single the same day as the album. "Shimmy" featuring Doja Cat was sent to rhythmic contemporary radio on July 28, 2020, as the album's second single.

The album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, while charting moderately in other territories. It was relatively overlooked by professional review outlets, although several critics were somewhat positive in appraising the album.

James Michael Bay (born 4 September 1990) is an English singer-songwriter and guitarist. Formed in 2016 in Sydney by vocalist Mikaila Delgado, guitarists Teddie Winder-Haron and Lachlan Cronin, and drummer Bradley Cronon, the group quickly earned themselves a fan base, gigging relentlessly around Australia with their blend of anthemic, emo-inspired pop-punk. By 2017, Yours Truly had self-released their debut EP, Too Late for Apologies, and played dates with the likes of Forever Ends Here and Tonight Alive. The following year they dropped the single "High Hopes," which instantly got national radio play and saw them secure support slots with the likes of We the Kings and Say Anything. More live dates followed in 2018 before the group entered the studio to record their second EP. Preceded by the tracks "Circles" and "I Can’t Feel," Afterglow was officially released at the beginning of 2019.

Jonathan Lyndale Kirk (born December 22, 1991), better known as DaBaby (formerly known as Baby Jesus), is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter from Charlotte, North Carolina. After releasing several mixtapes between 2014 and 2018,  DaBaby rose to mainstream prominence in 2019.

His debut studio album Baby on Baby (2019) peaked at number seven on the Billboard 200, while his second studio album, Kirk (2019), debuted at number one. The albums produced the Billboard Hot 100 hit singles "Suge", "Intro", and "Bop". His third studio album, Blame It on Baby (2020), became his second consecutive number-one album in the US. It also produced DaBaby's highest-charting song, "Rockstar" featuring Roddy Ricch, which has spent seven non-consecutive weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 as of the issue dated August 15, 2020.
