Accuser - "Phantom Graves" [Metal & X-Core]

Description : Accuser - Phantom Graves (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

"Phantom Graves", taken from the new album Accuser, out November 13th, 2020. Pre-order it here:

Music: Thoms/Schütz
Lyrics: Thoms/Baron
Video: Robin Weyandt

Germany's Accuser was formed in the town of Kreuztal and followed in the wake of that country's first wave of successful speed metal bands (Kreator, Destruction, Sodom, etc.). Quickly progressing from the full-out thrash of their early efforts (1987's The Conviction and 1988's Experimental Errors) to a more technical style made popular in the Bay Area scene (1989's Who Dominates Who?, 1991's Double Talk, and 1992's Repent), the band proved itself technically gifted. By the time of 1994's Reflections album, and especially the following year's Taken by the Throat, Accuser had evolved toward a modern death metal sound akin to Pantera and Machine Head, and adopted a more rhythmic-based, pseudo-tribal approach reminiscent of Sepultura. The band ceased operations shortly thereafter, but returned in 2010 with a new album, Agitation. Two more LPs, Dependent Domination and Diabolic, arrived in 2011 and 2013, respectively, and in 2016 the band inked a deal with Metal Blade and released The Forlorn Divide, with The Mastery dropping two years later.

Alicia (stylized in all caps) is the seventh studio album by American R&B singer and songwriter Alicia Keys. It was released by RCA Records on September 18, 2020. Written and produced largely by Keys, the album also features songwriting and production contributions from Swizz Beatz, Ludwig Göransson, Rob Knox, Johnny McDaid, and The-Dream, among others.

The album was originally scheduled to be released on March 20, 2020, then May 15, before being delayed further due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Seven singles were released from Alicia, including the Miguel duet "Show Me Love", "Time Machine", "Underdog", and "So Done", featuring Khalid. Keys is scheduled to embark on Alicia - The World Tour in 2021 after the 2020 dates of the tour were postponed due to the pandemic.

The dynamics of the music throughout is largely downtempo and subtle, except for "Love Looks Better", which is produced in a loftier pop-soul style.

The members of the vibrant dance-rock duo I Dont Know How But They Found Me (sometimes shortened to IDKHow or IDK) knew each other for years before they formed in secret in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2016. Late that year, they played a few shows in the Los Angeles area before word of the project eventually spread. The duo released its first single, "Modern Day Cain," in August 2017, following it a month later with "Choke." In August of 2018, they signed with Fearless Records and made their label debut with "Do It All the Time." That November, the 1981 EP arrived; it soon topped the Billboard Heatseeker chart and reached number 14 on the Billboard Rock Albums Chart. A year later, they returned with the holiday EP Christmas Drag, which featured a cover of Slade's "Merry Christmas Everybody."

“Wander” by Kevin Morby off 'Sundowner’, out October 16 on Dead Oceans.

Singer/songwriter Kevin Morby broke out of the shadows into a fruitful solo career, penning songs that melded Dylan-esque lyrical mystique with rootsy production. Along with contemporaries like Angel Olsen and Kurt Vile, Morby represented a wave of sharp, indie-bred 2010s songwriters whose audiences grew exponentially as they came into their own. Morby's development was particularly quick, his vision taking shape in a string of well-received records that included 2017's pristine City Music.

The Marcus King Band - "Goodbye Carolina (Eric Clapton’s Crossroads 2019]" [Rock & Alternative]

Goodbye Carolina (Eric Clapton’s Crossroads 2019]

Description : The Marcus King Band - Goodbye Carolina [Eric Clapton’s Crossroads 2019] (Official Live Video)

You're watching the official live video for The Marcus King Band - "Goodbye Carolina" from Crossroads 2019. Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival 2019 collection captures nearly four hours of highlights recorded live last year at the acclaimed charity music festival founded by the legendary guitarist. Get your copy here:

Eric Clapton, one of the world’s pre-eminent blues/rock guitarists, once again summoned an all-star team of six-string heroes for his fifth Crossroads Guitar Festival in 2019. Held at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, the two-day concert event raised funds for the Crossroads Centre in Antigua, the chemical dependency treatment and education facility that Clapton founded in 1998.

Led by a young artist who plays and sings with an impressive degree of seasoned maturity and passion, the Marcus King Band play a hearty mixture of soul, blues, rock, and jazz, with Marcus King fronting the group on lead vocals and guitar. King was born in Greenville, South Carolina on March 11, 1996. His father, Marvin King, was a well-known blues guitarist in South Carolina who also played with gospel acts, and his grandfather was also a regionally popular musician. Marcus was barely out of diapers when he first picked up a guitar, and at age eight, he started playing shows with his father. In his teens, he began playing out with his own band, juggling club gigs at night and school in the morning as he and his bandmates barnstormed with what they called "soul-influenced psychedelic Southern rock." In 2015, the Marcus King Band -- King on guitar and lead vocals, Alex Abercrombie on keyboards and backing vocals, Anthony House on bass, and Jack Ryan on drums -- released their debut album, Soul Insight. Warren Haynes of Gov't Mule checked out the band and liked what he heard; he tapped the Marcus King Band to open shows for Gov't Mule and reissued Soul Insight on his Evil Teen Records label.

Haynes' championing of the group helped spread the news about their music, and the band soon landed a record deal with the venerable independent label Fantasy Records. Personnel shakeups led to a new lineup of the Marcus King Band, with Abercrombie and House leaving the group, while King and Ryan were joined by Stephen Campbell on bass, Matt Jennings on keyboards, Dean Mitchell on sax, and Justin Johnson on trumpet and trombone. The new edition of the Marcus King Band went into Carriage House Studios in Stamford, Connecticut with Warren Haynes serving as producer, and cut their second album mostly live in the studio. The Marcus King Band was released by Fantasy in October 2016, with the group touring extensively in support. A third full-length, Carolina Confessions, arrived in 2018, landing at number two on blues chart.

From Rags To Jugg Riches OUT NOW!

Southern rapper Coca Vango became known for his self-proclaimed "cocaine flow," a smooth approach that blended melodic rap delivery and a floating, narcotic singing style. Jumping into rap seriously in his late teens, he was first recognized in Atlanta's underground rap scene for his Jugg Rich mixtape series. Released in 2016, Jugg Rich 2 featured cameos by Bandit Gang Marco and Yakki, and led to further exposure for the emerging rapper. Later that year he appeared on Project Pat's "30" single and released upwards of three more mixtapes. Over the next several years he honed his trippy trap sound with several singles and mixtapes, including 2018's Motivational Purposes Only.

Coca Vango was born Rashad Best in Decatur, Georgia in 1990. He went through various troubles on the way to a life in music, being expelled from school for bad behavior and later being fired from a heating/cooling job when he missed work because he was up late performing his music at open mikes. Low-paying jobs and tough times persisted as he worked toward his creative dreams, releasing his first mixtape, Remember the Name, in 2013. His reputation slowly grew and he gained the attention of more established artists like Project Pat and Polow da Don on the strength of his Jugg Rich mixtape series. The 2016 mixtape Jugg Rich 2 included the song "Recipe," a lurching trap banger that made the rounds in Atlanta's underground rap circles and opened the doors for Vango to collaborate with new connections on a flood of additional mixtapes. Van Gogh, Cocaine Flow, and Cocaine Flow 2 all spilled out over the course of that year, and he continued on with Runway Juggin in 2017 and Motivational Purposes Only in 2018, both with high-profile features from Jazze Pha, Bigga Rankin, Asian Doll, and others.

A fiery post-hardcore unit based out of Tampa Bay, Florida, Limbs employ a punishing blend of caustic riffs, explosive blastbeats, and eerie atmospherics. Since coming together in 2013, the band has gone from being regional noisemakers to becoming the first American group to sign with Australian heavy music indie UNFD. Formed in 2013 under a different moniker, the band underwent a number of personnel changes before settling on a core lineup consisting of Chris Costanza (vocals), Daniel Nelson (drums), Josh Kowalski (bass), and guitarists Jordan Hunter and Tyler Martin. The band issued its debut EP, Admissions, in 2014, followed by a second EP, Sleep, in 2017, the latter of which was produced by Underoath's Tim McTague and released via Equal Vision Records. The following year saw Limbs ink a deal with Aussie hardcore label UNFD -- home to Northlane and In Hearts Wake -- and issue their full-length debut, Father's Son, which was produced by Saosin guitarist Beau Burchell.

Mozzy - "Occupational Hazard (Album Stream)" [Hip-Hop, Album Streams]

Occupational Hazard (Album Stream)

"Occupational Hazard (Album Stream)" music video by Mozzy
Added: 23-09-2020
Genre : Hip-Hop, Album Streams
Description :

Sacramento rapper Mozzy evolved over the years to become one of the most influential voices in his era of West Coast hip hop. With a lyrical approach that switched effortlessly from threatening to celebratory and musically rich instrumentals that recalled highlights from various phases of California rap production, Mozzy went from an underground sensation to international talent in the middle of the 2010s. After gaining even more attention in 2018 with his contributions to the Black Panther soundtrack, Mozzy released his fifth and most successful studio album Beyond Bulletproof in 2020.

Born Timothy Patterson, he began rapping in 2004 under the name Lil Tim, releasing the "U Ain't Ready Like Dat" single in 2010. A name change came in 2011 when he issued the album Money Means Mozzy, which was followed by his 2013 mixtape The Tonite Show, hosted by DJ Fresh. Four mixtapes dropped in 2014, including Free Mozzy, which was issued while the MC was locked up on illegal firearm charges. Gangland landed in 2015 along with Yellow Tape Activities, and 2016 saw the Empire label issue both Beautiful Struggle and Mandatory Check. That same year, he contributed to a slew of collaborations with artists like Dutch Santana, E Mozzy, Juneonnabeat, and Philthy Rich. He followed in early 2017 with Fake Famous, which featured appearances by Iamsu!, E Mozzy, Cellyru, YFN Lucci, YG, G-Eazy, Jadakiss, and many more. After issuing the collaborative Can't Fake the Real with Blac Youngsta and Dreadlocks & Headshots with Gunplay, Mozzy released 1 Up Top Ahk, which debuted in the Top 100 on the Billboard main album chart in the summer of 2017. After appearing on the chart-topping soundtrack to the film Black Panther, Mozzy issued "Nobody Knows" with Jay Rock and DCMBR. A prolific 2018 included the Spiritual Conversations EP, as well as full-length Gangland Landlord. That year, he also joined Kae One for the collaborative set, Run It Up Activities (Team Player Records), which also featured the Jacka, Philthy Rich, and E Mozzy. In early 2019, Mozzy and Berner teamed up for the collaborative mixtape Slimey Individualz, which Mozzy followed up in May with the heartfelt "Legal Guardian/Guardian Angel," a track that paid homage to his grandmother. Several other collaborative projects followed that year, including the Raz Simone-aided mixtape Members by All Movements and Blood Cuzzins, a collection of tracks made with Tsu Surf. Fifth studio album Beyond Bulletproof arrived in May of 2020, featuring guest appearances from G Herbo, King Von, Polo G, and others. The album entered the Billboard charts at number 43.

Lennon Stella's path to a career in music has featured enough unexpected twists and turns to seem like the plot of a TV drama -- which in her case is certainly appropriate. Lennon and her younger sister Maisy were the daughters of a Canadian country music duo, and thanks to their parents' appearance on a televised talent competition, they were cast on the popular television series Nashville, playing the daughters of a well-known country music star. After several seasons of playing a talented young vocalist, reality started to mirror fiction as Lennon began writing songs for the show, and in 2018 she stepped out as a solo artist and songwriter with the song "Like Everybody Else."

A thought-provoking singer/songwriter, Pixx questions conventions of all kinds with her shape-shifting music. From the folky beginnings of 2015's Fall In EP, she quickly moved to idiosyncratic electro-rock on later releases including 2019's Small Mercies.

Born Hannah Rodgers, Pixx hails from Chipstead, a town just outside of South London. Growing up, her talent was encouraged, and after going to Catholic school for most of her studies, she attended the performing arts college The BRIT School for two years. Taking inspiration from Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, and Aphex Twin -- and adopting her grandmother's nickname for her moniker -- Pixx worked with co-producer Simon Byrt for her folktronica-tinged debut EP, Fall In, which arrived in August 2015. For her 2017 debut album, The Age of Anxiety (which took its name from W.H. Auden's final poem), she reunited with Byrt on a set of darker electro-pop songs inspired by the era's turbulent times. Soon after the album's release, Pixx began working on her second album, Small Mercies, which added grungy guitars to her repertoire and took aim at repressive institutions.

Added: 23-09-2020

Description : Tsjaikovski: Serenade in C, op. 48 - Concertgebouw Kamerorkest - Live concert HD

The Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra perform 'Serenade in C Major, Op. 48' by Tchaikovsky during The Sunday Morning Concert, live in Het Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

The musical program:
Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky - Serenade in C Major, Op. 48

The musicians:
Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra

Recording: The Sunday Morning Concert of Sunday the 20th September of 2020 in Het Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings in C major, Op. 48, was composed in 1880.

Serenade for Strings has 4 movements:
- Pezzo in forma di sonatina: Andante non troppo — Allegro moderato
- Valse: Moderato — Tempo di valse
- Élégie: Larghetto elegiaco
- Finale (Tema russo): Andante — Allegro con spirito

Tchaikovsky intended the first movement to be an imitation of Mozart's style, and it was based on the form of the classical sonatina, with a slow introduction. The stirring 36-bar Andante introduction is marked "sempre marcatissimo" and littered with double-stopping in the violins and violas, forming towering chordal structures. This introduction is restated at the end of the movement, and then reappears, transformed, in the coda of the fourth movement, tying the entire work together.

On the second page of the score, Tchaikovsky wrote, "The larger number of players in the string orchestra, the more this shall be in accordance with the author's wishes."

The second movement, Valse, has become a popular piece in its own right.

The Serenade was given a private performance at the Moscow Conservatory on 3 December 1880. Its first public performance was in St Petersburg on 30 October 1881 under Eduard Napravnik.

Tzigane is a rhapsodic composition by the French composer Maurice Ravel. It was commissioned by and dedicated to Hungarian violinist Jelly d'Arányi, great-niece of the influential violin virtuoso Joseph Joachim. The original instrumentation was for violin and piano (with optional luthéal attachment). The first performance took place in London on April 26, 1924 with the dedicatee on violin and with Henri Gil-Marchex at the piano (with luthéal).

The luthéal was, in Ravel's day, a new piano attachment (first patented in 1919) with several tone-colour registrations which could be engaged by pulling stops above the keyboard. One of these registrations had a cimbalom-like sound, which fitted well with the gypsy-esque idea of the composition. The original score of Tzigane included instructions for these register-changes during execution. The luthéal, however, did not achieve permanence. By the end of the 20th century the first print of the accompaniment with luthéal was still available at the publishers, but by that time the attachment had long since disappeared from use.

Ravel soon orchestrated the piano part, and the version for violin and orchestra was first performed in Amsterdam on 19 October 1924, with Pierre Monteux conducting the Concertgebouw and Samuel Dushkin, soloist. On 30 November 1924 the Paris premiere featured Jelly d'Arányi and the Concerts Colonne under the direction of Gabriel Pierné. The first performance of the version with piano without luthéal was by Robert Soetens in 1925.

The name of the piece is derived from the generic European term for "gypsy" (in French: gitan, tsigane or tzigane rather than the Hungarian cigany) although it does not use any authentic Gypsy melodies. Note that in Ravel's days in Paris gypsy/gitan/tsigane/tzigane did not so much refer to the Roma (Gypsy) people in any strict sense: the "gypsy" style of the work was rather a kind of popular musical exoticism, comparable to the Spanish exoticism in Wagner's day (compare Emmanuel Chabrier's España), or the Janissary exoticism in Mozart's day (Rondo alla Turca).

The composition is in one movement, with an approximate duration of ten minutes. Though the composer is sometimes regarded as following an Impressionist idiom, Tzigane clearly demonstrates Ravel's ability to imitate the (late) Romantic style of violin showmanship promoted by such composer-virtuosi as Paganini and Sarasate.

The Romance in F minor, Op. 11, (B. 39) is a single-movement work for violin and orchestra by Antonín Dvorák, published in 1879.

It was written at the request of Josef Markus, leader of the Provisional Theatre Orchestra in Prague; he would play it at the annual concert of the orchestra at Zofín Palace. It was first performed at the concert, conducted by Adolf Cech, on 9 December 1877.

Dvorak based the work on the slow movement, marked Andante con moto quasi allegretto, of his String Quartet No. 5 in F minor. This quartet was composed in 1873 when the composer was not widely known; it was unperformed and unpublished in his lifetime.

He wrote a version of the Romance in F minor with piano accompaniment, dedicated to the violinist Frantisek Ondricek, which was not published in his lifetime. The orchestral version, and an arrangement for violin and piano (B. 38) made by Dvorak's friend Josef Zubaty [cs], were published in 1879 by Simrock.

The nom de plume of Atlanta, Georgia-raised, Nashville-based singer/songwriter Ben Cramer, Old Sea Brigade emerged in 2016 with a critically lauded EP that featured a compelling, heartfelt, and atmospheric blend of folk, country, Americana, and indie rock that invoked names like Bon Iver, Iron and Wine, and the National. A string of singles and an EP for the Nettwerk label paved the way for his 2019 full-length debut, Ode to a Friend.

After several years playing in bands around the Atlanta area, Cramer decided to forge ahead as a solo act, adopting the Old Sea Brigade name in 2015. Self-released in 2016, his eponymous debut EP earned him enough buzz to land key support slots for Hiss Golden Messenger, Julien Baker, and Benjamin Francis Leftwich during his first U.S. tour. Later that year, he inked a deal with Nettwerk and began work on a follow-up release. Cramer's first single for Nettwerk, the rousing "All the Same," dropped in September 2016 and was later included on 2017's Wash Me Away, the first of three EPs he would issue that year. The song "Tidal Wave," from his next EP, Cover My Own, notched significant play on streaming networks. Cramer closed out a banner year with the Christmas EP Songs for the Holidays. Scattered throughout 2018 were the singles "Hope," "Feel You," and "Sinkhole," which preceded Old Sea Brigade's 2019 full-length debut, Ode to a Friend.
