Zain Javadd Malik (born 12 January 1993), known mononymously as Zayn, is an English singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Bradford, Malik auditioned as a solo contestant for the British music competition The X Factor in 2010. After being eliminated as a solo performer, Malik was brought back into the competition, along with four other contestants, to form the boy band One Direction. Malik left the group in March 2015 and subsequently signed a solo recording contract with RCA Records.

Adopting a more alternative R&B music style with his debut studio album Mind of Mine (2016) and its lead single, "Pillowtalk", Malik became the first British male artist to debut at number one in both the UK and US, with his debut single and debut album. His subsequent singles, including "I Don't Wanna Live Forever" with Taylor Swift, and "Dusk Till Dawn" featuring Sia, were also hits. In December 2018, he released his second studio album, Icarus Falls.

Malik is the recipient of several accolades, including an American Music Award, a Billboard Music Award and a MTV Video Music Award.

Polo G spent time in Chicago's correctional facilities before getting a major-label contract and viral hits. Still in his late teens, the rapper left jail and began releasing songs and videos while still unsigned and without management. The video for his inspirational and melodic song "Finer Things" was viewed tens of millions of times and paved the way for greater success.

Born in 1999 and raised in the rough Cabrini-Green neighborhood of northern Chicago, Polo G was rapping by the time he was a teenager. His earliest songs appeared online in 2017, but it wasn't until his breakout single "Finer Things" that the rapper began to really take off. The motivational song was written when Polo was incarcerated, and once he was free he recorded it and made an accompanying video, which immediately caught the attention of millions. Things moved quickly from there, as a record contract with Columbia Records soon followed and more singles were released to similar excitement. In 2018, Polo G issued songs like "Hollywood" and "Gang WithMe," and he began 2019 with the release of "Pop Out," a collaboration with Lil Tjay. The song cracked the Billboard charts, peaking at number 28.

Sometimes leaning more into drill styles and sometimes tending toward more sung R&B, Polo G's approach shifted from song to song. The spare and melancholy "Battle Cry" single appeared next, and in June 2019 his debut full-length, Die a Legend, arrived on Columbia Records. The album was well-received both critically and commercially, cracking the charts and collecting glowing press. He released a new single, "Inspiration," within a month of his LP coming out. Second studio album The Goat arrived in May of 2020, peaking at number two on the Billboard charts. The record included guest spots from rappers like Lil Baby, Stunna 4 Vegas, and Juice WRLD as well as production on highlight tracks from Mustard and Mike WiLL Made-It.

Machine Gun Kelly - "Tickets To My Downfall (Album Stream)" [Rock & Alternative, Album Streams]

Tickets To My Downfall (Album Stream)

"Tickets To My Downfall (Album Stream)" music video by Machine Gun Kelly
Added: 25-09-2020
Genre : Rock & Alternative, Album Streams
Description : Tickets to My Downfall is the fifth studio album by American musician Machine Gun Kelly. A departure from his established rap sound, the album is a more guitar-driven pop punk album. It was released through Bad Boy and Interscope Records on September 25, 2020.

Machine Gun Kelly, birth name Colson Baker, had released four studio albums through the 2010's. While his first four studio album had been hip hop/rap styled, by the end of the decade, Baker started moving into a rock music direction. In 2019, Baker appeared in the film The Dirt, a biographic film about the band Mötley Crüe where he played drummer Tommy Lee. The same year, Baker released his fourth studio album, Hotel Diablo, which ended with the track "I Think I'm Okay", a more rock-leaning song collaboration with Yungblud and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker. It was released as a single and became very popular, hitting number 8 on the year-end Billboard US Hot Rock Songs and ended up being certified platinum in the US.

Baker, wishing to explore the sound further, booked a day in recording studio to work with Barker, to record what would become the song "Bloody Valentine". The session was so powerful to Baker that he asked Barker to set aside two months aside for them to collaborate on an entire studio album, to which Barker obliged. For much of the rest of the year, Baker would refer to be working on the album informally referred to as "the untitled pop punk project". Along with Baker on vocals and guitar, the entire album would feature Barker on drums and as a producer. Other collaborations in the studio include Bert McCracken of The Used, Blackbear on the track "My Ex's Best Friend", Goody Grace, Mod Sun, Trippie Redd, Young Thug, and another collaboration with Yungblud.] Baker later revealed that the collaborations with McCracken and Yungblud were left off the album, to be released on a separate project. Baker also noted that the albums originally concluded with a track titled "Times of My Life", but that he couldn’t get authorization to publish the song from Tom Petty's estate, who felt the hook was too similar to a song of Petty's.

Yves Jarvis - "Sundry Rock Song Stock (Album Stream)" [Rock & Alternative, Album Streams]

Sundry Rock Song Stock (Album Stream)

"Sundry Rock Song Stock (Album Stream)" music video by Yves Jarvis
Added: 25-09-2020
Genre : Rock & Alternative, Album Streams
Description :

A prolific Montreal-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, Yves Jarvis is the performing name of Jean-Sebastien Audet, whose experimental pop songs combine disparate elements of soul, psych, folk, post-punk, and lo-fi indie. Under the name Un Blonde, Audet found critical acclaim for his independently released 2016 album, Good Will Come to You, before changing his name to Yves Jarvis and signing with the Anti- label in 2018.

Originally from Calgary, Audet began recording music during his teenage years, trying out various facets of his artistic personality under a variety of names. Beginning around 2012, he began releasing music alternately as Faux Fur and Darren Wantz, though Un Blonde eventually became the creative vehicle that tied together his myriad influences. Following 2015's Water the Next Day album, Audet relocated to Montreal, where the cerebral indie soul of 2016's Good Will Come to You brought him critical accolades. Originally released by Montreal-based cassette label Egg Paper, the album was picked up for more widespread release by Canadian indie Flemish Eye in 2017. Near the end of that year, Audet announced his intention to forge ahead as Yves Jarvis, a combination of his middle name and his mother's surname. A deal with Anti- was announced, and in 2018 the ethereal "Fruits of Disillusion" single was released in advance of his full-length debut under the Jarvis name. Several other singles appeared before the 22-track album The Same But by Different Means was released in early 2019.

Lil Peep - "Come Over When You're Sober, Pt. 2 (2018) (Album Stream)" [Hip-Hop, Album Streams]

Come Over When You're Sober, Pt. 2 (2018) (Album Stream)

"Come Over When You're Sober, Pt. 2 (2018) (Album Stream)" music video by Lil Peep
Added: 25-09-2020
Genre : Hip-Hop, Album Streams
Description : After a rapid rise to fame on the strength of his vulnerably honest lyrics and brooding mix of emo and rap, Lil Peep died of an accidental drug overdose just weeks after the release of his debut studio album, 2017's Come Over When You're Sober, Pt. 1. Just 21 and at the height of his powers at the time of his death, the rapper's untimely passing felt at once sadly prophesied and tragically premature for a promising young artist with so much yet to accomplish. At the core of Peep's art was a fearless portrayal of his troubles with mental health, drug addiction, and emotional pain. Although bleak, Peep's approach never felt exaggerated or showy, it was simply an account of a harrowing and often hopeless struggle. The gravity of his music became all the more emblazoned by his death, a topic he pondered often in song. Endlessly prolific, the 11 songs here are culled from a vault of material not released during Peep's lifetime, and skew even darker than the already desperate moods that made up Come Over, Pt. 1. While that predecessor put more stock in commercial appeal, the sequel feels decidedly absent of those concerns, more anguished and all the more haunting in its posthumous nature. After a sluggish start, the vibe of the collection starts to take shape on "Run Away," where a dour chorus finds Peep decrying fake friends and looking for solace in pain pills and isolation. From there almost every song is built around references to despair, hollow sex, drugs, death, and the kind of torments that eventually brought Peep's life to an all-too-real end. Standout track "Cry Alone" finds him deep in a haze of drugs and frustration, ranting about hating the rich kids in his hometown over a grunge chord progression updated with trap rhythms. "Leanin'" addresses suicidal impulses and "16 Lines" calls out from deep within depression in a plainspoken voice aiming to simply chronicle a difficult mental state. Similarly, "Life Is Beautiful" lays out a series of hardships ranging from cancer to police brutality with a deadpan melody and the assurance that "I know it hurts sometimes but it's beautiful." Only the less impressive closing song "Fingers" sounds primed for mass appeal with traditional hooks. More compelling are the moments that showcase Lil Peep's unique relationship with self-expression and self-destruction. His delivery, lyrical choices, and sincere examination of difficult feelings seemed curious when he was alive, but take on a profound significance in the pallid wake of his death.

HellBoy (Album Stream)

"HellBoy (Album Stream)" music video by Lil Peep
Added: 25-09-2020
Genre : Hip-Hop, Album Streams
Description : Emerging from the dark corners of the Internet's underground rap scene, Long Island rapper Lil Peep connected with his fans through both his blend of dark rock and hip-hop styles and his lyrics, which vulnerably and transparently addressed issues of depression, addiction, and anxiety. A run of strong mixtapes and guest appearances generated media buzz around the rapper, his approach to life, and his music, which polarized both listeners and the press. Those who championed Lil Peep did so passionately, and his followers quickly grew into the millions. Peep would only live to see the release of one fully realized studio album, his brief 2017 debut, Come Over When You're Sober, Pt. 1. The eight-song album was released shortly before the artist's untimely death due to a drug overdose just after his 21st birthday. Fans mourned the loss, and Peep's estate began posthumously releasing music the rapper had finished before his death, beginning with several singles and eventually leading to the full-length album Come Over When You're Sober, Pt. 2 in the fall of 2018.

Description : One of the more versatile commercial artists to surface during the early 2010s, Tory Lanez is a songwriter and producer who flits between and fuses R&B and rap. He hit the Top Five of the pop charts in his native Canada and in the U.S. with his debut album, I Told You (the source of the Grammy-nominated single "Luv," 2016), and has been equally successful with the full-length projects MEMORIES DONT DIE (2018), Love Me Now (2018), Chixtape 5 (2019), and The New Toronto 3 (2020).

A fun-loving, melody-driven, AOR/classic rock outfit based out of Helsingborg, Sweden, the Night Flight Orchestra has ties to a wide array of established hard rock bands, including Soilwork, Arch Enemy, Darkane, and Spiritual Beggars, among others. Emerging in the late 2000s, the band earned a Swedish Grammy (Grammis) nomination in 2017 for their third album, Amber Galactic, with similar acclaim being garnered by subsequent efforts like Sometimes The World Ain't Enough (2018) and Aeromantic (2020).

Formed in 2007 by Soilwork's Björn Strid and David Andersson, the group eventually morphed into a five-piece with the additions of Sharlee D'Angelo, Richard Larsson, and Jonas Källsbäck, all of whom appeared on the band's 2012 debut, Internal Affairs, released by Coroner Records. They expanded again in 2015 with the arrival of multi-instrumentalist Sebastian Forslund, who marked his debut with the release of the group's sophomore effort, Skyline Whispers. In 2017, the band inked a deal with Nuclear Blast and released Amber Galactic, which yielded a Swedish Grammy Award nomination. More accoaldes, including another Grammis nom, heralded the arrival of the band's fourth full-length effort, 2018's Sometimes The World Ain't Enough, which introduced full-time backing vocalists Anna-Mia Bonde and Anna Brygård. Using the glossy production-style of '80s pop/rock as a template, the band unleashed their fifth long-player, the soap operatic air travel-themed Aeromantic, in 2020.

PMF is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Philly Music Fest will be a LIVEstream in 2020. But, PMF20 will be a bit different than the other LIVEstreams you’ve seen – it will actually be LIVE. Headliners and direct support will perform live on stage, brought to you in our camera HD audio and video. While there’s certainly some charm in musicians playing solo acoustic in their living rooms, kitchens and bedrooms, PMF20 strives to provide something a bit different – an all-Philly musician lineup, all playing live at Ardmore Music Hall over the course of two nights. Now, we think the LIVEstream will be super fun, but PMF is not really in the entertainment business – we’re in the business of raising money for kids and musicians. Our model has worked tremendously to raise money, donating $40,000 to music education in 2019 and deploying over 330 micro-grants earlier in 2020, but we normally have ticket and merchandise revenue. This year, the LIVEstream is free, but we encourage you to donate to PMF in advance of PMF20 and/or during the LIVEstream.

Juice WRLD became a Top Ten hitmaker delivering introspective lyrics atop melodic production, with echoes of Travis Scott and Post Malone. His heartsick 2018 debut Goodbye & Good Riddance (2018), home to his biggest hit "Lucid Dreams," reflected a wide range of stylistic influences: R&B instrumentation, dreamy beats, and even indie rock melodicism. The momentum built by "Lucid Dreams" helped land Juice's sophomore effort A Death Race for Love (2019) at the top of the charts. Months later, at the height of his mainstream popularity, he tragically passed away after suffering a medical emergency at Chicago's Midway Airport; he had just turned 21. At the time of his death, Juice had three singles in the Hot 100 and both official LPs in the Top 100.

During the next several months, his verses appeared on tracks with Halsey, Marshmello, and Eminem. The posthumous album Legends Never Die followed in July of 2020 and topped the Billboard 200.

Coming on with a staccato delivery like 2 Chainz, but with material that is much more hardcore, Detroit MC IceWear Vezzo was a member of the Green Guyz crew who went solo in 2012. Born Chivez Smith in Detroit, some of Vezzo's close relatives and siblings lived in Minnesota where they formed the hip-hop group the Green Guyz. Vezzo ran his own Detroit-based version of the Green Guyz with the blessing of the original crew, but after a few regional hits, the MC decided to go it alone. In 2012 he dropped his debut mixtape The Clarity, while 2013 saw him release Clarity 2: Can't Stop the Count, featuring the breakout single "Money Phone." The track also appeared on his 2013 album The City Is Mine, and The Clarity 3 landed in 2014 and featured Vezzo's fellow Green Guyz cohort Webbo among its guests. He also issued the Solitaires album that year on his birthday, which happened to be Halloween, while the release of The Clarity 4 kicked off 2015, a year that saw him hit with the single "Moon Walken." The album Moon Walken followed in 2016. 2017 saw the release of the Price Goin' Up mixtape, which featured collaborations with Philthy Rich, Mozzy, BandGang Lonie Bands, Rocaine, and more.

Sheppard are a six-piece indie pop group from Brisbane, Australia. Formed as a duo in 2009 by siblings Amy (vocals) and George Sheppard (vocals/keys), the group slowly expanded to include their sister Emma Sheppard on bass, along with friends Jay Bovino (vocals, guitar), Michael Butler (guitar), and Dean Gordon (drums). Featuring a buoyant mix of strong harmonies and catchy, uptempo pop, the band released its self-titled debut EP in August 2012 and quickly expanded its touring horizons, playing festivals in America, South Africa, and the U.K.

By the following summer, their EP had peaked at number 18 on the Australian charts and they had been nominated for an ARIA music award. In February 2014 they issued the single "Geronimo," which shot to number one at home while also gaining traction in Europe and beyond. Prior to recording their first album, Sheppard signed with Decca Records internationally, yet remained independent in their home country. Released in July 2014, their debut LP, Bombs Away!, was a major success, reaching number two on the Australian charts before getting a worldwide release a few months later. The single "Geronimo" charted across Western Europe as well as in the U.S. and Canada, and hit number one in Australia.

The first single off their sophomore album, "We Belong," appeared in late 2016 and was followed the next spring by "Keep Me Crazy," which returned them to the Australian Top 40. Finally, in 2018, they delivered the full-length Watching the Sky, which also featured the Australian chart-topping, gold-certified single "Coming Home."

Australian post-hardcore band Hands Like Houses debuted in the late 2000s, joining a crop of stylish but heavy bands that valued singalong melody as much as aggression. Following the 2012 debut Ground Dweller, which charted higher in the U.S. than their native Australia, the band began a steady rise that reached new heights with 2016's Dissonants.

Formed in 2008 by members from disbanded groups Eternal Debut and So Long Safety, Hands Like Houses comprised singer Trenton Woodley, keyboardist Jamal Sebet, drummer Matt Parkitney, guitarists Alexander Pearson and Matt Cooper, and bassist Joel Tyrrell. The band released a few singles in 2011 before the arrival of its 2012 debut full-length, Ground Dweller (Rise). The album charted on the Billboard Top 200, as did its 2013 follow-up, Unimagine.

In 2014, they released the remix EP Reimagine. A couple months later, Sebet parted ways with the group. In April 2015, the band began work with producer James Paul Wisner (Underøath, Paramore) on its third LP. Dissonants was released in February 2016 and shot into the Top Three of the U.S. hard rock chart, peaking in the Australian Top Ten. An international tour followed, which kept the band on the road with acts A Day to Remember, the Amity Affliction, Northlane, and Motionless in White. In 2017, the band signed a deal with Hopeless Records. Their first album for the label, the pop-leaning Anon. arrived in 2018 and featured the singles "Overthinking" and "Monster."
