"Wonderwall" is a song by the English rock band Oasis. The song was produced by Noel Gallagher and Owen Morris for the band's second studio album (What's the Story) Morning Glory? (1995). According to Gallagher, "Wonderwall" describes "an imaginary friend who's gonna come and save you from yourself".

The song was released as the third single from the album in October 1995. "Wonderwall" topped the charts in Australia and New Zealand. The song reached the top ten on another ten charts, including Canada and the United States at number 5 and 8, respectively, as well as No. 2 on both the UK Singles Chart and Irish Singles Chart. The single was certified quadruple platinum by the British Phonographic Industry and gold by the Recording Industry Association of America.

It remains one of the band's most popular songs, and was voted No. 1 on the Australian alternative music radio station Triple J's "20 Years of the Hottest 100" in 2013. Many notable artists have also covered the song, such as Ryan Adams, Cat Power, and Brad Mehldau.

Combining a strong visual component with dreamily produced songs, sophisticated indie songwriter Gus Dapperton became known for colorful narrative videos and lovestruck songs that channeled '90s influences. Working with mostly analog instruments and playing, arranging, and recording everything himself, the artist released songs online when he was still in his teens but began to break through with the 2017 single "I'm Just Snacking." The song and its viral video caught on, and before long Dapperton was touring and being asked to create a song for the Netflix original series 13 Reasons Why. This exposed him to even more legions of fans, and he quickly followed his 2019 full-length debut, Where Polly People Go to Read, with 2020's Orca.

During the 2010s, Russ Vitale -- a rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer -- emerged from the Atlanta-area underground with dozens of independent singles and albums, all of which were made freely available as downloads. Signing with the majors in 2017, he issued his mainstream breakthrough, the platinum-certified Top Ten album There's Really a Wolf.

Russ signed to Columbia Records in 2017 and released his major-label debut, There's Really a Wolf. The album featured the aforementioned singles and debuted in the Top Ten of the Billboard 200. It was later certified platinum. As the year progressed, Vitale continued to release singles, including "Prosper," "Maybe," and "Lean on You." He continued his singles series into 2018, leading up to the release of his second full-length, Zoo. Featuring guest appearances from Rick Ross and Snoop Dogg, the album reached the Top Five of the Billboard 200. Album singles "The Flute Song" and "Missin You Crazy" helped boost the album's performance, with the latter track going platinum. Later that year, he issued a trio of Zoo-session tracks as an EP titled Just in Case.

After releasing a handful of non-album singles in 2019, Russ kicked off a new decade in 2020 with his third album for Columbia, Shake the Snow Globe. The set hit the Top Five once again and the single "Best on Earth" with Bia became a chart hit.

In anticipation of filing a $100M dollar lawsuit, Lawyer/Rapper Ducati James recorded and produced "Innocent" in honor of his client, Sidney Moorer, who was framed and sentenced to 30 years for kidnapping - AKA the infamous "Disappearance of Heather Elvis" case in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Shout-out to director @mralexacosta for believing in the cause and understanding this is far more than just a song or a music video.

Listen to the album “Real Hate”:
Follow Philthy Rich:

Oakland rapper Philthy Rich, part of Mac Dre's Thizz roster, didn't become active until the latter half of his twenties. He served sentences for cocaine distribution and illegal weapon possession, and he was also shot. Despite a relatively late start and other obstacles, he was one of the most prolific rappers of the late 2000s and early 2010s. Dozens of underground releases surfaced during these years, including debut album Funk or Die (2009), Trip'n 4 Life (2011), and Kill Zone (which hit Billboard's Heatseekers chart in 2012). The N.E.R.N.L. series kicked off in 2012, with Vol. 2 landing in 2013, and Vol. 3 in 2014. His 2016 release, Real N-Ggas Back in Style, featured guests Young Scooter and IAMSU, along with the cut "King Jack," a tribute to his friend, the late rapper the Jacka. Rich's prolific run continued later that year with independent album Sem City Money Man, Vol. 4 and the mixtape Hood Rich 4, followed in 2017 by the Seminary mixtape and the full-length studio LP Sem God. The full-length N.E.R.N.L. 4 arrived in May of 2018 with another studio album, Fake Love, following that December. Among various other mixtapes, Philthy Rich returned with a new studio album, Hometown Hero, in January of 2020. The 16-song collection included cameos from Lil Jarimy, Rucci, Z Money, and many others.
